Think of it this way, you're a pizza shop, so u sell pizza... Then u start selling burger and chips. The people who want pizza still come to u but new customers are finding it hard to find your shop. The people who tried your burgers didn't like them so now for a short period of time, the new people who want to buy your pizzas are a bit confused cos they are trying to find your pizza shop but it says BURGER FOR SALE on your shop sign so u end up pushing a few pizza customers away.
Then u stop selling burgers after a month and put the PIZZA sign back on your shop.
Now everything returns to normal and your customers are no longer confused.
In conclusion it doesn't matter what you sell as long as the quality is good enough for customers to buy. You may confuse a few people along the way due to conflicted branding but ultimately a good qualitt pizza and burger will always sell.
Pity they don't show skip rate to independent artists...or perhaps not, considering it's just another thing to worry about. (•᷄- •᷅ ;)

My song got added on to fake playlists without my consent? How do I prevent this?? It's really worrying me as it could prevent my chances of getting discovered.
Contact your distributor, they can get you removed from the playlist.

Is it better to create just one account on spotify or is it better to give your song to distro and if given doesnt the account on distro differ from spotify .. then how would we merge accounts or market our song towards which direction?

Do you really believe "they dont know how the algorithm works"? Rethink that statement.
