I use this for prepping D&D sessions. I have it on while I’m setting up, organizing all my stuff, when the party shows up and settles in, and through our recap of the story so far. No matter how I ended the previous session - whether we wrapped up on a calm note, or on the precipice of absolute chaos - this always gets everybody in the mood and serves as the perfect opening backdrop.
Since it just launched in EA. Don't expect that to happend until atleast 1 - 2 year. The full game is also gonna be 150 According to Steam. And EA currently is about 70 gb. That means they have 70 more gigs left to finish. And that will most likely take roughly 1 - 2 years to do as well. So by either end of 2021 or at start of 2022 i expect the game to be fully ready for release and out of EA.
@@IzzyGames874 I think roughly one year since they've been already working on it for quite some time. They couldn't just been working on the first act all the time, right? That's what I think though and hope for.

So, having been a huge fan of BG 2, I dumped nearly 400 hours into that game. The character creation music of BG 2 is memorable and invokes thought and imagination for me. I think this does the same, when you can sit and think on a character imagining them to life in this world we're about to explore. This game is shaping up to be one of the greats and worthy of it's place in the line of legendary Baldur's gate games. There's already a bunch of little easter eggs in reference to the Spawn of Bhaal adventure from random accounts in books scattered in the game. See you all down by the river.

I think I was half not paying attention when I booted the game up, "Eh it's just an early access" I thought. Then I heard 1:23 and I started to realize how amazing this game could be.
Played bg1 for the first time a few months ago and spent the first 30 mins trying to get that god roll for the stats. At least here I don't have to worry about that anymore

I was worried that Baldur's Gate 3 would have the light-heartedness of the DOS games, which really doesn't fit with a Baldur's Gate game...but this has really blown away all my worries - the music, the graphics and the general feel all point to an epic fantasy-type vibe. Really keen for the full release!

Imagine if DA: Origin's. Leliana's Song, had more similar songs in that game to Leliana's Song and performances of characters singing fantasticly memoreable god like songs with their vocals. This is exactly a result right here of how that would have looked, that could have being. This vocalist and the Music from this game. Is unlike any Fantasy Music i have ever heard in many years, probably since Skyrim.

I actually didn’t need to spend hours in character creation this time. I had a game plan, Tiefling Druid, and from there, it came together pretty simply (although she had huge dex for some reason, at the cost of a minus in intelligence. Took points off of that and balanced that out lol)

Most community hubs will have people looking for groups, search around FB for BG3 groups, I'm also certain the Larian Discord server will be a hot spot for multiplayer gatherings.
@@khatack Amazingly it hasn't gone back to normal. Which is sad because I only discovered how much more optimized high end Nvidia is for recording/streaming vs. AMD If you're not planning on recording though, AMD would be a good place for you to look. When not recording I can have everything maxed out and it still runs smoothly.
@@McAllik I was kinda hoping I'd never have to buy another AMD, I'll compare the price range but AMD has to be a lot faster before I consider going for it over Intel+Nvidia setup. I have rather unpleasant memories with AMD, especially their catalyst drivers.
@@khatack Things are def better now for AMD than they used to be, I personally use a RX5700XT and a Ryzen9 and have honestly had 0 problems in general. There's no sweat in waiting though, I personally just gave up on ever getting a 3090

Have not played this since last November. Except for bug fixes and performance fixes and a new class, there has been no new content added. And it's now looking like a 2023 release so remember that before you start EA. Looking good though but i wish they would add some new content....... 😁
They did mention day 1 that we would only be in Act 1, but in general that never meant act 1 was "done" right out of the gate. There's constantly new stuff being added, just gata look.
Not my cup of tea. I much prefer Michael Hoenig's and Inon Zur's more traditional work for the original games (the real stuff and not this cheap knockoff) and of course Jeremy Soule's in the first Icewind Dale.

1h Baldurs gate 1 or 2 for ROLL, and ROLL , and roll.... and when you reach 93 score you accidentaly ROLL again and close game.
Played bg1 for the first time a few months ago and spent the first 30 mins trying to get that god roll for the stats. At least here I don't have to worry about that anymore
