Hope you guys enjoy this early era breakdown. The song - Witching Hour is available on all your fave streaming platforms now! Let me know which band to do next xx
Hahaha ONE DAY I WANT TO BE UP THERE WITH THEM. I’m so so glad you enjoyed, this is a special album which has some very unique vibes to it, I’m so glad you felt I did it justice!
I’ve missed making them too dude, but I am going to prioritise it now because the support you guys give me is second to none and you deserve that commitment. I love this channel and I want to take it as far as possible!
Hell yeah! This is badass, and can't wait to see what you do next with Ghost or any other artist that follows! Like I mentioned previously, any other era of Ghost would be awesome...But I'd love to see something really different like Beck! You knocked it out of the park on this one!
Thanks so much for the suggestion dude. I’ve explored the Infestissumam vibe a little too which I love. But I’m also very game to dive into something completely different and Beck would be an amazing one, thank you for the continued support man it really motivates me to keep going!
I was expecting thousands of views man ! You're amazing. Keep going with these you'll go viral for sure !! Work on these shorts and tiktoks to get people to know you. Subscribed !
I appreciate it so much dude! Comments like this really keep me going. It’s a lot of work making these videos but seeing people enjoy them gives me all the motivation I need! Appreciate you taking the time to comment mate
Definitely happy to see you back, loved the song when it first came out on Spotify and the last album I bought was a vinyl of Opus Eponymous a couple weeks ago so this is surprisingly good timing (also happy to have been part of the suggestion, it was an honour lol). Bloody amazing as always, man, and hope you've been having a good summer as well
Ah I’m so glad you’re enjoying it dude! Your comment really inspired me to go back and dig into this period - a really unique sound and amazing songs. I hope you feel I did it justice! Will be back soon with the next one - no more long waits!
@@JohnAzopardi Glad I was able to help out, I've also been writing some stuff for my band and have one riff that was heavily inspired by this era (specifically Death Knell since my buddy who plays drums played something that sounded like that song's intro) but you knocked it out of the park as always. As for new bands, I'll probably say my previous choices of Pink Floyd, Metallica, The Beatles (also any era because they have such a wide sound), Slipknot, AC/DC (either Bon Scott or Brian Johnson era, your choice), Radiohead and I'll throw in Green Day (a band I just saw two weeks ago) and Blink-182 (a band I'm actually going to see tonight at the same venue) but I'll be happy with whoever comes next
I was actually thinking of potentially doing a live stream of some description if I can figure out how to do it, if that would be of interest to you guys? Potentially also a discord for us all?
And I am so glad to see that people like yourself are sticking around to watch and listen to me ramble on about these bands! Seriously means the world to me dude thank you.
What about a video writting a Soundgarden song ? It would be interesting to se you using some weird tunings on guitar/bass with some odd time signatures lol Or just use drop D like 60% of their songs
I would be so keen to do Soundgarden, my main thing would be trying to nail the vocal style first because those are some MASSIVE boots to try to fill. But the songwriting side I would be so keen to look into as well, there’s a bunch of late 80s / early 90s bands I am very excited to look into; Soundgarden, Nirvana, Failure, Alice In Chains etc
I only recently found your channel and I really enjoy your videos! Good work, you really manage to nail the sound of each of the bands and this one was no exception
Ah man these comments mean so much to me and they really inspire me to keep at it. Welcome to the crew, I hope you’ll stick around because I’ve got a massive list of bands ready to tackle!
The song is fire as always! Nice to see Ghost again, since the first video I've seen from was also a Ghost song. I'm really-really curious what you can do with Arjen Lucassen's Star One.
@@JohnAzopardi, you're most welcome! Oh, man, that is the best combo of heavy guitars and synths out there that I've heard, IMO. Look em up, totally worth it. The premise is that every album has its own theme, and each song is based on a movie related to the said theme. Almost all Arjen's projects are involving a huge amount of guest musicians, so not only the music is just very good, but it is also a deeep rabbit hole of all the related bands you can explore.
I am so keen to do this, thankfully my girlfriend is German and mine isn’t too shabby so I may genuinely be able to do this without it sounding like gibberish!
Hey man I mean each to their own! I think the Meliora era is still the top of the pile for me, but this early era is just dripping in atmosphere and I thought would make for a very interesting video. Having said that - the Meliora era might do too! Which is your favourite?
@@JohnAzopardi Meliora, absolutely. When it came out my best friend and I fell for it in a big way, prompting our other co-best friend to roll his eyes. "I've been recommending Ghost to you for FIVE YEARS!" 😅
Now you nee to make one for every album, that'd be so sick
Oh I’m more than happy to
Hope you guys enjoy this early era breakdown. The song - Witching Hour is available on all your fave streaming platforms now! Let me know which band to do next xx
It’s giving Death Knell, … I LOVE IT
DAMN RIGHT IT IS, my favourite from Opus
John Azopardi new ghoul when??
Seriously, it's so good. Opus is such a good album, both sound and theme wise and this fits!!
Hahaha ONE DAY I WANT TO BE UP THERE WITH THEM. I’m so so glad you enjoyed, this is a special album which has some very unique vibes to it, I’m so glad you felt I did it justice!
You never disappoint dude, keep up the great work! 🤟
Thank you so much for the support! I will continue to create as long as you guys continue to enjoy
This goes hard!! Really reminds me of a Vexing Hex song. They too have the Opus/Infest era vibes
Dude I missed your longform videos, welcome back :)

Like this new style of backdrops and clips etc. Very nice video and great song 👍
Ahh I’m so glad you noticed and liked it! Going to keep trying to improve on this front- give my vids a bit more production value
Next band: Manic Street Preachers!!
Amazing shout and I’m so down for it
Amazing! Thank you so much for doing another one of these! Your videos are so well-done, fun and informative. :)
Ah thank you so much dude! That means so much to me and thank you for the suggestion. More to come very soon!
Oh shiiii... he's back!
don’t YOU KNOW IT
Hahaha nice, now do Type o negative 👁️👁️
I am so completely ready for this, they are right at the top of my list, just have to hit the gym more to pull off the Peter Steele look
Amazing! Can you possibly do a deconstructing video showing how you recorded and bts stuff?🤓👻
I was actually thinking of potentially doing a live stream of some description if I can figure out how to do it, if that would be of interest to you guys? Potentially also a discord for us all?
Petrified!
Boy am I glad to see you!

finally a new video :)
It’s about time isn’t it? Thank you for your patience, it will not be this long again, you have my word!

I'm really-really curious what you can do with Arjen Lucassen's Star One.
If you're gonna do it, HMU, I've dissected one of their songs and can share some info, if you want.
Thank you so much dude and a big thanks for the continued support. It really does keep me going. I’m not familiar with Star One, please enlighten me!

NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL CHURCH METAL (got it?)
HAHAHAHA THANK YOU MY LOVE YOU ARE THE BEST SUPPORTER IN THE WORLD
Challenge: How to write a Rammstein song (the lyrics must be in German)
I am so keen to do this, thankfully my girlfriend is German and mine isn’t too shabby so I may genuinely be able to do this without it sounding like gibberish!
Not my favorite Ghost era, but another cracking chorus!
