not really, he can block the drive reversal after the jump in and punish you afterwards. He could also empty jump and throw you. Both options are dealt with by just anti airing him normally anyway. Also, he doesn't have to backrise (i'm pretty sure he lives if he doesn't backrise). So you need three things to go right for this to work (all of which requiring your opponent makes stupid mistakes)
first reaction, you will probably backrise to avoid chip not realizing ur hitting a chip on basckrise. Being that low and burnt out is just the worst situation in a fighting game
