The funniest thing happened. I was going out but was searching for my phone for ever and everywhere in my house. Now found it, in the middle of the room in a "tripod". Took it and this video was the last thing i had opened. I pressed play and you go "I'm upset at how I dumb I am", it hit me so hard.

I am convinced that the person asking about the moon-lab experiments either knew the level or was the level creator themself, and asked specifically to distract Carl.
I'm surprised Carl didn't mention it, but for the Yoshi level, he was always going on the second Yoshi, when it's much easier when you go on the first one. The successful attempt had him going on the first one.

Carl lacked critical information about the timing required on the short evil level. The flow of Yoshi eggs is not consistent due to how spawn limits and pipes work, he kept jumping on the second Yoshi in a cycle from the first pipe, which made it impossible to progress because there was no Yoshi to land on. Once he jumped on the first Yoshi in a cycle from the first pipe, the second Yoshi from the next pipe was available.

That F section was fucking brilliant
I love the cannon room because its like Bugs Bunny slapstick comedy, which I would argue is the core of what makes trolls funny. The maker is Bugs Bunny and you are Elmer Fudd.
On my phone, the media controls notification thing for this video displayed as "This Section Made Me F", which still seems 100% appropriate.

Listening to the end of the video really makes me wish Larl's Lab became a mainstay. It was so short lived
that first level was so good. it's amazing that this game has gotten to this point

10:40 note: these survived in the shade, any microbes that received direct sunlight died very quickly. Even tardigrades weren’t doing so hot, though most of them made it.

in the 2nd level you can see that there can only be 4 yoshi eggs which makes the timing between each 4 eggs slightly different. That's why he missed the first few jumps to the 2nd yoshi
@13:10 they should have put a track leading from bowsers statues hand to the 30 coin. that would have been perfect for that.
I’m a highschool math teacher, your virology talk is very informative and entertaining.
In the evil short level, can't believe Carl didn't notice that the yoshis were coming out unevenly - i.e. the first and second yoshi were closer together than the second and third. He failed every time he caught the second yoshi, and succeeded on the first try where he went for the first yoshi.

make a "13th day of trollmas" level, and make it a twice-twice version of your "12 days of geeksmas" level, with a bunch of extra trolls slapped on top
it can also have an important message about "recycling to keep the world a cleaner place" too as fun bonus :)
SMB1 lava still reminds me of tomato soup. 🍅 GPBs dream level. Where all the Yoshi deaths are processed.

Not a bad idea. There's a whole lot of science talk sections he's had over time that would fit nicely on Larl's Lab.

I gotta say: I love all the troll level players. The whole community. But NO one gives me so much joy than Carl! No matter how bad I may feel, no matter how bad my day was, no matter how bad my mood is - Carl ALWAYS gets me a HUGE smile on my face!
I think a major part about it is that you have to be able to laugh at your own mistakes to be able to appreciate playing a troll level. That keeps people grounded, and makes them much friendlier to be around.

I'm lost as to what "it swaps right there" is referring to, I can't see the mushroom doing anything
The mushroom goes offscreen on that last jump, so it is probably swapped with a different mushroom that falls off of a track. I had to to go frame by frame to notice it though.
@@Gedof why's it have to? it looks like it was exactly the same trajectory the supposed original was on
@@Azumarill Things falling off of tracks go through some objects until they fall into other tracks, I think. So they made that switch so that it looks like a mushroom that was interacting with the note blocks suddenly doesn't anymore.

Here it's just a quick edit away from continuing the level but on twitch people have to watch you play the same part of a level over and over again so shouldn't they be the ones to get annoyed when you get a safety coin knowing it means having to do everything over again after you nearly reached the end?
Levels like this make me miss the way Mario Maker 1 let you copy levels and look at their guts.
