This is helpful. ive bought refills for years but once coronavirus hit my usual sellers have gotten greedy. i refuse to fill their greedy pockets and now refill using reasonably priced soaps thanks to this tip!
Oh my! It worked beautifully. They quit selling refills where I live. I brought water to a boil in wide enough cup then let it set about a minute before holding the empty container lid down for a count to 40 and it twisted off so fast I thought I broke it lol. And I used a pair of old sharpe nail cutters and cut the clear plastic tabs off smoothly and all I can say (like I didn't say enough lol) I have severe inoperable carpal tunnel in both hands/arms and I was able to do this. This machine is more than a luxury for me. Thank you so much for your video
Thanks for the video. There are others out there, but yours was the first I came across that mentioned cutting off the two tabs. I especially liked the fact that you got to the point in less than a minute and a half.

I just was gifted one and wanted to find a way to refill . Great video. Even better than the first one I watched from a lady. I like the cutting off the tabs idea. 👍
Nice to know and THANKS for the video, but have you had any issues with the soap leaking out after the refill. Some have experienced soap slowly leaking inside of the dispenser?
One issue I can foresee is that without those detents, when the time comes to pop the empty bottle off from the dispenser, the bottle cap may get stuck on the dispenser instead of coming off with the bottle.

I never take the lid off instead I have done a small hole at the top to refill it from the top . And its very easy to refill .

just broke my cartridge by heating it too much :/

I think this is illegal in some States.
It should be illegal for what they’re charging now on eBay and other sites for refills.
Lid can leak now. Better to drill a small hole or square flap to fill it from the top.
