Great info , I bought the new Venum 33 and my draw length is 29 1/2 and wondered if I made a mistake not getting the Ventum 30 but it seems I made the right choice. Awsome information and keep up the great work !
I just bought the same bow, with the same draw length @ 70 pound draw. It ran about $2100 for setup, tuning, arrows, and attachments... We'll see if it's money well spent or wasted.
I just purchased a ventum 33 yesterday and with a sight, quiver, rest, stock front stabilizer and rear stabilizer I was coming in at 290 fps. That was shooting a 500 grain arrow, (including the tip) 70 pound draw weight, and 28 inch draw length. Pretty impressed with it overall. I tried the 30 too before purchasing but the 33 just felt better when aiming and shooting. That extra length made it a little better balanced.
Hoyt had to make changes, and they did for the better. First hoyt I liked in years. Shot one the other day and really liked it. Waiting on your comparison to the v3
@@PMOUTDOORS24 ...👍I was thinking that it's possible that the 29" might have better torque and release at the top of module#2 instead of a lower module #3...But you won't know unless you shot the same arrow, with the same length, and the same #age and just switched modules...I may visit this next year and see if they improve on this bow then see if Mathews can improve on the VXR because they didn't with the new V3, imo...
Just bought a ventum 33. Now I have a Matthew's 31.5 and a Matthew's chill x. I'm hopping the Hoyt will be more durable like my old one from 2005 which I sold

@@Anthony-th9hb great bow soon as you realize that the center shot is closer to 11 than 13. Having a 31 inch draw the longer bow is comfortable and faster than any I've ever shot.
@@littlecupofjoe1201 the vertix is also a shorter bow with a shorter brace. Assuming you're also at a 29" draw your also on the higher side of the cam. Anyway, this is a great bow coming in at faster than advertised speeds. Glad the vertix is working out for you.

@@littlecupofjoe1201 that's coming in about 15fps hotter than IBO so seems a little on the fast side. I think the new Hoyt's are good bows, yes they're heavy but everyone has been talking about handshock the last few years so that's what they went towards. I think they did a good job. @@ianmcgaughey1 hmm. Perhaps it was 272-274 for those 525s. You may be right. Sorry for the wrong Info if so! I order an X33 from Xpedition. What are your thoughts between the 30 and the 33? At 28 DL and 80# looking for a bit of speed for heavy arrows. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
Shot one today, excellent draw cycle. Excellent feel at shot. I didn’t care for the rather raw finish work on the riser, it just feels like a cheap bow honestly, very squared off edges and the C-clip holding axels in seems very prone to come off.
So would the 33 still be faster at a 28.5” draw or is it just at 29”s? Although getting a ventum 33 would be better for shooting distances I would imagine correct?
This is the first time in awhile I’m considering buying a new bow and and switching to Hoyt currently shooting a Matthews Vertix which I was disappointed in the new V3. But been really impressed lately with PSE and now Hoyt is calling my name really liked what they did this year think it was a much needed change.
We can’t trust bow companies. Bow weight 4.3lbs (put on scale not even close must remove everything even strings) IBO 350 (Reality it shoots 290fps) we probably can trust their ATA number though. To get the advertised IBO speed you must shoot a #2 pencil with the lead removed 😆 IDK why they advertise anything g other than the Make and Model on the box and tag 🤦🏼♂️

Hoyt wins this year, only because the V3 is just another regurgitated version of last years bow lol
