An amazing piece of innovative work. Straight out of readily available materials. If more people had similar ingenuity to recycle like this, pollution would become a thing of the past. Thanks for sharing brother. God bless you. Stay safe out there.
God what a long and grueling process, but absolutely worth it in the end! You made a simple, clean looking sword, and its absoultely beautiful!! Mad respect man. Also. Great job actually knowing what youre doing. Good to see someone using a respirator on the belts for once lol
This is a masterpiece. Please treasure it, the quality is worthy of a Tuna cutting instrument (very expensive by the way). I understand a lot of effort goes into making it.
Very nice makes me happy to have collected old tools. Some might be broken but this shows that their not dead. Looking forward to see what you create in the future! Happy hammering.
Just seen this video, outstanding, you ever been on forged in fire? And would that blade snap like candy if ya hit it sideways onto something that has no give, beautiful piece of work but is it brittle?
This thing is pretty sweet. I'm also impressed by the hand hammering the bend out and the free hand beveling. Had to be pretty hard on the hands this one.
The true makings of a great bladesmith is to make something functional out of virtually anything. This blade is practically Testament to that statement.
That is indeed a beautiful sword and was wondering how much would you charge me to make mo one I’m an old marine and love to collect Nieves and swords and would like to collect one of yours.
so q how many times did you make up leg day after this i could only imagine how hard this was to do i comend you guys swingin a hammer like that has to hurt
You spend much energy hitting the flat and not moving much metal while losing a lot of heat to the anvil through the flat contact. Better to draw out the metal using the edge of the anvil at an angle while rotating. Even better to use the rounded curve of the hammer to draw out both top and bottom while rotating. This will also retain the heat in the metal because you have minimum contact with the anvil heat-sink. Once the entire length is drawn out to your desired thickness then you can flatten and shape the blade. In this same manner you can draw out the bevel edge working from the base to the tip.
i really like this blade ots a great idea to use a pipe wrench cuz it has a built in handle already that looks great and matches the blade perfectly giving it a nice look
Jesus can we just appreciate that he moved all of that metal by hand? No power hammer at all is wild to me considering thats a lot of material to move even with the help. Dude's a beast.
I'm a plumber and have thought before how it would be pretty cool if I could make a sword with my pipe wrench as the handle. Might look like a post-apocalyptic or steam punk kinda blade. Can I buy one from you?
The handle of the sword is amazing. It flows from a work tool to a beautiful sword.
i agree it looked awesome

Amazing that with fire and muscle you can transform one thing into another. Excellent work sir
This is a masterpiece. Please treasure it, the quality is worthy of a Tuna cutting instrument (very expensive by the way). I understand a lot of effort goes into making it.
Very nice! My favorite part of this is that you kept the wrench to convert into the sword.
That turned out absolutely beautiful
Fax
That looks dope, the handle looks really cool
Very nice makes me happy to have collected old tools. Some might be broken but this shows that their not dead. Looking forward to see what you create in the future! Happy hammering.
One of the coolest swords I've ever seen looks like the perfect PPE to have anywhere you go
my neighbors call the police on me when mowing my lawn i can only imagine what they would do if i picked up knifemaking
You have terrible neighbours...
@@ZekeWaters_ I it's not that bad it's one guy
@@Friedrich-Wilhelm-1980 Still though, calling the police because you mowed your lawn? Bloody hell
@@ZekeWaters_ I agree
You should put a paper bag with dog poop on their doorstep
Now try making a pipe wrench out of a sword
Yes
Just play the video in reverse and its done
Yeah, easy... sell that sword and buy ten or more pipe wrenches. The quality of that sword is extremely high.
Just seen this video, outstanding, you ever been on forged in fire? And would that blade snap like candy if ya hit it sideways onto something that has no give, beautiful piece of work but is it brittle?
Haha
Jake's Custom Knives. got it.
A good swordsmith. I like this design very much. Tks 4 sharing your concept.

Good jobs. Perfect sword bro
Now, can you turn it back into a Wrench.
i just think about that comment LOL
Haha, that would be awesome...he probably could
Made one myself and truly appreciate the work that goes into a project like that awesome.
Looks very functional, simple and beautiful. Part of the beauty is in how well it seems to handle. Well done.
Really nice work. I can’t imagine what you could do with a decent anvil and smithing hammers.
Are you master, very nice job !
That is indeed a beautiful sword and was wondering how much would you charge me to make mo one I’m an old marine and love to collect Nieves and swords and would like to collect one of yours.

If you keep making those sables looks like all of them will go to your collection. Great job!
The fact that you wore a duster while slicing those bottles made this video amazing.

Sou seu fã! Manda uma catana dessa pra mim por favor???
I now know how to make weapons out of old wrenches just in case there's a zombie apocalypse and I have an abundant amount of wrenches
WTFArnie wrenches actually work great on zombies...blunt force trauma does the trick! But it's still a cool sword!
This guy will survive zombie apocalypse
Balternative.. I was going to say that too😂😂
Best looking knife I've seen in so long
Pipe wrench sward is so sick bro.
Wish i knew how to forge.

Does this blade shape have a name? I've looked everywhere and have never been able to find an answer
I think it’s called tanto, or American tanto.
Maybe daito or ushika in japan
I get so confused sometimes and wonder who’s channel I’m watching, thanks for making it easy for me.
Badass! Nice looking knife!
When the Zombie Apocolypse comes, you are going to be a busy man.
You are on my zombie apocalypse team
If you were to make one to sell, how much would it cost to buy it ?
Beautiful and simple. Nice job man
I want one, now, no seriously, I want one right this minute. That’s such a cool looking blade, man I just don’t got anymore words I can say about it.
I’m shocked no one is hating on a blacksmith
For real, shows the respect amongst the community
How do you mean?
It would be racist. If this were a whitesmith...? That would be a different story.
how much the price?
That is a beast. The handle could be wrapped with para cord for absorbing the shock wave.👍
A marvelous sword, my friend!
Beautiful sword, and the craftsman shift is woa.
Now can you convert it back?
the music is nice and peaceful, not like annoying dubstep stuff
ConCoClem it's mediavel shit
