That was fun. Thank you
Great video! You’ve gone where few men have gone.
Wish there were more vids like this
Great adventure! Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for the look.
I thought the numbers on the boards was interesting. I'm a retired scaffold builder, and I've always admired the way they built these big trestles with what we would consider primitive equipment, having to make their own components as they went. Great video!!
So cool how you explored the underneath of the Trestle! I will want to try that when I get there. I need to gather up enough courage. LOL
It's going to be a sad day when that trestle starts rotting away to the point it collapses on itself.
They stopped people from hiking to the bridge now, I guess the rail company still monitors it.
Dope video and super cool channel. Liked and subscribed because we love explorers. Keep up the good work man!
Great view from the catwalk
look at all those people trespassing @0:40. you want OSHA compliance while you're trespassing?
That's so wild!
There's catwalks under there? Imma hsve to go back and check those out!
Ignatz Rat Right I'm about to smoke a blunt under there !!!!!!!🗿🚬
great effort !
Thanks for crossing the catwalk so we don't have to!
I'm planning on coming out here this spring to bike along the trail and the tracks. What's the address you used to find the place to park at the beginning?
I've looked on yelp for tips on what to bring and what to do. I see you uploaded in March, what was the weather like?
Kalvin, I just hiked along the tracks this past weekend. If you're wanting to take the long route, which I recommend because you get to see the abandoned rail cars and tunnels (expect between 14-15mi of flat terrain following the tracks) then park just outside and to the left of the Nudest Resort. It's a dirt road and you'll see the tracks accessible just down a slope to the left of it. Easy to get to, really. Take a flashlight (more than one or extra batteries just in case) since you'll be going through a few VERY long VERY dark tunnels. Comfortable shoes, water, lots of snacks/a lunch to enjoy at the main trestle before you head back is advisable...and of course a beer to crack in celebration of reaching the main attraction. Including a few breaks it took about 5 1/2 hrs roundtrip....but that's at a pretty rapid pace. I had an amazing experience and know you will too. You're in for a treat!
Bunny Gaeta I'll actually be riding my mountain bike through the trail so i was hoping for a smoother desert surface and not a lot of sand. hopefully that cuts down some of the time and i can enjoy more views! Thank you foe the tips!
Saw a good amount of bikers, actually. You should be fine following alongside the tracks without much issue. Good luck!
How far away from a road junction is that ?
Probably about 7 mile hike between road and Goat Canyon trestle.
Daniel Gliebe thanks!
I have about 5 hikers that would like to go on this hike, we are looking for someone that had done this hike to come along. Anyone interested? Target date: 4/1/18.
Kwayzeeeee😎
These cyclists are tresspassing. They should be arrested and sent to prison.
I know. Recording criminal activity. I can overlook the ones that tread lightly but this, or the off-road bikers, not really.
Great video man! I thought the main rail would be sketchy but the cat walk was insane looking!
I'll admit your balls are bigger than mine! 🤣
