Test drove the 6MT and it was a great drive.
Plenty of power at speed, great forward visibility, very responsive stearing
The sportback gives you plenty of space in the back.
No complaints-when you combine the handling, 6MT, turbo power-it's a very fun drive.
Integra must come back to Japan and designed by Japanese Engineers
Why? Do you think they will make it better?
@@l-charge8438 yep
I suppose the best thing about this Integra is the versatility of the hatchback. I'm sure with a tune you can gain some more power. Hondata offers a tune for the Civic Si that increases the power to 240hp/260tq.
Would like to test drive one and hope that its comfortable and refined, especially with the adaptive dampers. I already had fun with my K24 swapped RSX. This new Integra should do nicely when I start having kids.
Nice reveiw slow dragging 🚘
I’m glad the nameplate Integra is back but not so much the vehicle design.
I'll take my 2017 Accord Coupe over this every day of the week!
😆🤣😂
V6 forever.
What about the Integra Type S and Integra coupe?
No more coupe. Americans aren't buying coupes like that anymore.
There will be an Integra Type S, but it will be in the exact same body style as this new one is, just with more aggression, rear wing spoiler, more power, sportier interior, etc...
The 6MT is the only one I'm interested in. CVT, no thanks. With price gouging expect to pay minimum $40k out the door for one with 6MT. I would wait. Let the engineers sort out the 1st year of release kinks, quirks, or any recalls
Any news on a R-type?
Honda will be the only one using the Type R name. Acura will be the ones using the Type S. The Type S for the Integra will be Type R powered.
Acura didn't officially announce it, but we already know it (the Integra Type S) is coming. It will most likely come out next year. There will probably be spy photos of a test mule on a dummy version of a Integra A-Spec Technology Package roaming around with a big rear wing spoiler like the DB8 Japanese-spec Type R, DC2 North American-spec Type R, and DC5 (RSX) Type S had back then on this new generation Integra. Overall, the Integra Type S won't come out until next year after the new 6th gen Type R comes out first this year and has gotten on the road for a year too.
I like this thing.
Also, Acura. I get the decision to make the car macpherson strut all the way around when sales were a concern.
But they aren't anymore, and the suspension system would be a great response for "it's just a dressed up civic"
So for the minor model change, please consider swapping to the double wishbone suspension. Even if its just on the A spec.
It's hard to choose this when the Genesis G70 exists.
Acura VS AUDI a5💓💓💓
I've missed Jon Wong's needlessly flailing hands.
We want Cooley!!!!
The Integra Type S would be the Integra Type R. Acura cannot and will not use the Type R badge anymore because that is reserved for the Civic Type R. Acura would use and will use the Type S badge because Type S is reserved for all Acura products.
That being said, a 300+hp, 6-speed manual, aggressive styling Integra Type S with Brembo Brakes on the front and rear exactly like the Integra Prototype with a rear wing spoiler that harkens back to the DB8 Japan-spec Honda Integra Type R, DC2 U.S.-spec Acura Integra Type R, and the DC5 Japan-spec Honda Integra and U.S.-spec Acura RSX/RSX Type S, a sportier interior, Double Apex Blue Pearl exterior paint from the Type S Concept and Double Apex Blue Pearl interior would most certainly seal the deal for me.
But if you can make it faster, or even burn up the front tires, you still can.
If it's fwd
Which it is
I stopped watching when they said the manual transmission only comes in the top of the line package.
It also looks kinda bleh.
How sad, i'd still rather get a Mazda.
What a disappointment, this car makes me appreciate my 2010 Si so much more
What happened to Mr Cooley
im pretty sad that nothing about this car really says INTEGRA, aside from the 'embossed integra logos and one piece tail lights'
Stuck in your ways i see.. this ain't the 80s/90s/00s idky ppl can't understand things need to change.
@@sspringss2727 if Amphibia taught me anything, is that change is a beast that can't be tamed, sometimes you have to let something go. But out of all things to let go, you'd be surprised if those exact things end up coming back to you
@@kelvinwoo3134 i love that reference. I wanted honda to do a bit more but most ppl are complaining about not getting the type r... which we know is coming. This is the poor man's version and I'm cool with it... currently have mine on order an should be here in about a month and a half. When it gets here I'll decide between it and the tlx(not sure if i want to spend tlx $). I can definitely see why they didn't put that gas guzzling dct in this vehicle though. The cvt fits the target audience of this vehicle and for those that want true beauty there's the manual. They should've put the manual in the base model but manuals are few and in between so i understand putting it in the top trim.
38K for a new manual integra, that’s damn near Type R price range.
You really think the type r wont see a mark up? The si is on average 8k over msrp.
😴
Totally ignored the RSX and if you took that embossed logo off the front no one would know it’s an Integra. I wish the design paid better tribute to previous gens. I’m not even pressed on the four door aspect as the original Integra was offered in a four door. It’s just with everything going electric a lot of car manufacturers are taking the opportunity to pay respects to the past and this was a failed attempt design wise. If you called it anything else this car would be fine. It’s a great car. I’m a old school Honda head so my opinion may be biased versus a new buyer who just wants an entry level Acura and doesn’t care about the cars lineage (which most buyers won’t).
Yall hating on the car cracks me up... if it was caked called xyz it would be an ok car...smdh. complaining just to complain.
@@sspringss2727 if you read my full comment I said exactly that. I said it was a good car and if they named it something else it would be better. Reading comprehension is key my friend.
@@indycog i think you're the one that lack comprehension... it's called sarcasm. It doesn't matter if the car was named abc, xyz or integra... it's still the same car. You not liking it because it's called an integra but would be ok if it named xyz is what's wrong with the ppl... delusional af.
The new Integra is basically just a prettier, better equipped Civic-just like every Integra (or RSX) ever.
As for being recognizable as an Integra, each generation looked very different from the one before. I'm sure there were a lot of Integra owners who were unhappy when they ditched the boxy styling and popup headlights of the first gen or when they went from square headlights to the little projector beam lights (I know I hated the look of them when they first came out)
@@sspringss2727 in that very same comment I stated I’m a Honda head and my opinion is not going to be that as the average consumer. Comprehension, my man. I’m not knocking this car. Fans of anything will be more critical of it heritage as opposed to anyone else. Call it what you want. My disposition comes from love for a brand. You can take that as you please.
Honda accord sport 2.0 have more value
Highly agree.
Not after the 2020 model year when they got rid of the manual. If you got a 2021 or 2022 model year CVT-only or 10-speed automatic-only transmission in your Accord, that value won't be much.
Ugly tablet on top of the dash? Are you serious?
this thing is so unfortunate and uninspiring. definitely needs at least double wishbones and less crap inside. for 40k why would anyone consider this over a nissan 400z
Honda reliability... Nissan cheap interior, fuel economy, family oriented... shall i continue.
Cause peoople ain't cross shopping between a 2 door coupe and 5 door liftback
I would rather have a 2.0 Turbo Accord Sport. I can have leather upholstery installed.
I am more than disappointed by the design.
But... why is it SO UGLY!?! 🤮
