Your response to the angry comment about the cleansing balm value is exactly why I subscribe to your channel. You do your research, you are trustworthy, and most importantly you keep it classy! We so appreciate you Andrea! 💕
It’s ridiculous that people were getting angry about the price of the elf balm. If you want an even better deal then you can wait until elf has a 50% off sale and pick it up for an even bigger steal.
That’s a good tip! I’m going to have to keep that in mind. 💗 I was just so confused why someone said I was misleading people because it really is such a good deal in terms of value. I’ve noticed that people get super passionate about skincare products!
As a general compliment to your whole channel, I love that you include snips of the products you are talking about on the screen. It makes it so much easier when shopping to find the products!!
Wth you are the least misleading beauty content creator. That’s why we love you❣️You are always honest and super informative ❣️Cleansing balms are just expensive in general…so elf really provides a good deal! People need to google lol 😂
My dear namesake, this is the first time I have written you yet I feel prompted to thank you for your integrity and consistency. Thank you for being sensitive yet strong enough to follow through with your opinions - people are sometimes so ugly regardless of their 'makeup'. I love Empties videos! They’re up there with Monthly Favorites. I like seeing what people are actually using and enjoying. Thank you for sharing your trash with us! 😂 Sending prayers and love to you and your family.
I want to thank you for your genius tip on using a face oil on your cuticles!! Brilliant! I have oily skin, and I used to subscribe to a lot of different beauty boxes so I have tons of mini face oils that I'll never use on my actual face. When you said that you used your oil on your cuticles, I swear i had a lightbulb appear over my head! Such a great idea! Love you ❤
What you described with the IT cleansing balm is what happened when I used the elf. Now I use the Milani Green Goddess Makeup Melter cleansing balm, and I love it. $12 at Target.
Currently watching this and scrolling Instagram and just saw your post from today. He is the most darling thing ever. So happy for the joy you have found and the love you can now share
Post partum hair loss is so real. I’ve always admired your hair ❤️ but I completely understand. I used to have thick and gorgeous hair and I’m like with crap lol. It’ll take time but it does come back.
I love the Juvia's Place bronzer duo and I also love the Lash Freak mascara. U don't hear much about it. Just bought the Elf cleansing balm. Can't wait to try it! Thanks Andrea. 💗💗💖💖
I feel like I have so many open products right now for every category & I'm with you, I need to finish some of my product before I buy more but you, Tati, Soph, Robert, Jaime & Alie give me such good recommendations sometimes I can't help myself!
You look absolutely beautiful! Your hair color is stunning. I purchased that elf cleansing balm and I love it! I am definitely going to try that glaze for the hair but I'm going to purchase the black one because my hair is naturally very black and dark.🤗
I have so much open skincare because I love trying new skincare. This year I am working out of a smaller box of products at one time to try and get some stuff finished up before trying anything else new.
Another thing to keep in mind when looking at price per oz is the fact that some folks are not willing to pay $38 to try a product. I appreciate affordable options to try. Elf was the first cleansing balm I tried and I really like it. I recently purchased the Neutrogena cleansing balm and just don’t like it and am thankful I didn’t spend more. 😌
I really want to try the Juvia's Place bronzer duo but I just have other bronzers I need to get through first! Also, I can't imagine why someone would feel the need to come for you about a cleansing balm..... the elf one seems great and affordable!
Things I replace with the same product: elf cleansing balm, CP Pretty Fresh foundation, concealer and skin tint, Essence Princess mascara false lash and the waterproof, Covergirl lash primer, Essence Matte face primer, Elf 3$ brow pencil, abh brow pomade and powder, no7 pressed powder, milani eye primer, nyx glitter glue,, hask charcoal dry shampoo, la Brasiliana and eva nyc 10 in 1 hair treatments, tree hut shave oil, skindinavia and gerard setting sprays, the ordinary rosehip seed oil, good molecules niacinimide serum, TF BTW foundation and concealer.
I love the elf cleansing balm! When you’re on a tighter budget, $10 is way more affordable than $32 - $38 at that moment. I can’t wait to try the elf moisturizer, I’ve been on the lookout for a good but affordable moisturizer.
I had no idea Oliver was discontinued, I loved it. I would love for you to do a pick up/ review of the Juvias place ones. That duo is next on my list to try after I use up my current bronzer.
You should try the banilla co cleansing balm! You get the huge jar for $27 and it is the smoothest creamiest one I have ever tried!! I’m not sure on its cruelty free status but it is an amazing quality and was recently on the Ulta beauty sale for 50% off!!
Andrea, I agree with you 💯 about the Elf cleansing balm. I like it better than the Clinique Take the Day Off. I pick up the Elf one when it's buy 1, get 1 40% off. If you use the $3.50 off Ulta coupon with the sale, it's only $6.25 a piece. Ulta is running this sale again at the time of your video. Such a great deal! I hope you and your family are having a great start to 2022! 😍✨
I tried the ELF cleansing balm months ago because I thought it was a great value compared to other high-end balms. I just didn't get the same quality/results as the clinique balm. I might try it again and give it another try. Currently using the Farmacy balm and love it
I am really enjoying empties videos lately and also similar products but not necessarily exact dupes. I have been really trying hard to finish up some products since I took a good look at my collection and saw a bit of repetition in color, like blushes, for example. Of course I love to try new things, too, but I remind myself everything isn't limited time only and I have lots to enjoy. Having said that, I'm super proud of finishing up a skin tint from Sephora, a squeeze tube lip balm from Colourpop, a face oil from OliviaCare, e.l.f. holy hydration FF cream, and I'm nearly there on my Bare minerals concealers (two shades).
hey there, pretty girl!!! i loveeee your sweater. i reallllly think that you’d fall in love with the juvia’s place bronzer duo. i bought it when it released and it’s legit my HG bronzer. it’s so smooth and perfectly pigmented, where you can build it up perfectly. i got the pink essence princess mascara because of you, and i reallllly love it. elf has been killing it this year and i loveeee their holy hydration line. i received the fekkai shampoo, conditioner and scalp products from influenster, and i used it, but it didn’t work for me. i want to try the glaze hair product because i want my hair to look nice and shiny and healthy. 💖💖💖
Makeup I've been using up that I love and want repurchase; - Elf Camo CC Cream - Colourpop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer - Colourpop Pretty Fresh Foundation - Colourpop Pretty Fresh Concealer (obsessed with the pretty fresh collection) - Elf Cosmetics Halo Glow Powder - Maybelline Super Stay Powder Foundation - Colourpop Blush Crush Palette - Colourpop Nude Mood Palette - Elf Cosmetics Bite Size Face Duos in Watermelon and Coconut - Elf Cosmetics Big Mood Mascara - Elf Cosmetics Contour Palette
I haven't used the elf hydrogel moisturizer but I have been using their regular Holy Hydration Face Cream and I really love it. I actually bought it on accident because I thought I grabbed the makeup melting balm lol. I gave it try anyway and turns out it was a happy accident! I also have acne prone skin and it doesn't break me out, which is a plus!
The balm is moving to that odd paper flap closure palettes, they seem to be discontinuing everything that has magnets for closures once they have a replacement. I'm surprised they haven't replaced the take home the bronze though
I tried the Glaze clear recently after watching you and Kelly using it. I love the softness and the shine after using it. Have you tried Curlsmith products. They are little pricey but they have great products. You can find them at Ulta. I also love the I am line which Target and Sally Beauty carries.

Careful with functioning beauty hair products they've been known to thin out girls hair even really popular UA-camrs have stated that they experienced hair loss while using it I don't know if they change their formula but I think it was Rachel loves but she tells you and there's other creators also that have experiences the same thing and a lot of people that aren't creators that used to experience the same thing so definitely a try switching up your shampoo and conditioner if you think your hair is thinning
i tried a sample of the IGK dry shampoo a while back and it made my hair feel dirtier??? like I could FEEL the product in my scalp and it made me want to just wash my hair with normal shampoo -_- did I just get a dud... bc everyone else seems to love it
I'm thinking of trying the Juvia'splace I Am Magic foundation. Has anyone tried it?? Thoughts?? I've got dryer skin pkus I'm 52 and hate looking cakey or when it sits on my skin instead of melt into it.

OMG, thank you so much actually for saying Garnier is cruelty free, I did not know, that is great. Also thanks for recommending the UD Lash Freak, I also bought the mini and like it very much. I usually buy the minis for high end mascaras to see if they work, but I really like the Essence ones, as well. The only one I did not like and did nothing for my lashes was the Elf one you mentioned, sadly, I wanted to like it. Today I've used the Huda Beauty one with the dual wands (Legit Lashes?) and my lashes never looked so long. I am also currently using the Elf make up remover balm and the first time my eyes didn't like it too much but I am giving it another shot. Thank you for your great videos, I always enjoy watching them. Have a great weekend, love from Ireland.
