Jack great to see Snow and you riding, have you thought of switching to MPH so we in America see the Fast riding. Yes Canada I understand move to Canada. Sorry Jack someone gave me H. In Ohio where I live 1 1/2 “ of Snow. We Need More Trees in America.
Haven’t ridden packed trails, I ride a short distance on the road each ride, if there’s no loose snow I use the scratchers and it’s fine for short distances. If you plan on trail riding a short tunnel Freeride you would want the linq snow flap for sure
@@jacktrueman yeah it's actually for my brother. He's looking for a crossover sled so he has the best of both worlds. The problem is they're all calibrated at sea level and he's not at sea level so we were thinking may be the free ride because of the shock package he could adjusted to ride OK on the trails in a 154 yeah he'd have to have the snow flap. It's not sure if that's gonna work or not. I just bought a summit X154 3 inch I ride more deep snow not trails I don't like trails lol
@@jacktrueman yeah, I kind of was talking to him about that but when you're as old as he is tinkering with things is usually a Know go. Stock is the only way in his mind
Yeah the skidoo gen 4 and gen 5 definitely wheelie a lot more than most sleds especially compared to Polaris rmk sleds. It makes sled fun for flat land riding but, it can become an issue trying to climb steep technical terrain in deep snow when you can’t keep the front end down. You can make suspension adjustments to control it more like tightening the limiter strap or stiffening the front track shock to give it more ski pressure.
@@Aiden_509 I don’t really have a good answer for you there, the type of riding I do is to variable to get much of an indication of fuel efficiency and in general sleds are not very fuel efficient

Just curious on if you've ridden your sled on trails that are compact with little snow and how it performs and does it overheat

@@MrCoda47 ahh I see, why not a backcountry x as better crossover and just do aftermarket clutching to adjust for his elevation

@@MrCoda47 yeah fair enough, 154 Freeride might be a bit tippy on the trails though. Wouldn’t be my first choice of a trail sled that’s for sure.
How do u mount the gopro
It’s a helmet chin mount, you can get them pretty cheap on Amazon
👍
Does it ever not wheelie at WOT? Seems that would be a very tiring ride after a couple of hours. Looks fun though.

@@Aiden_509 they are definitely fun! A very playful sled!
