dude this video should have way more views that was so cool!
Thank you!
I like that trailer, can you tell me the manufacturer and model. Does it have ramps or do you have to have your own? Thanks
It was a sportclub 12’x8.5’ tilt deck trailer. So no ramps required. I would not recommend this trailer it was poorly designed. The latch for the tilt deck bent from the weight of the load on the trailer and you had a to buy hydraulic rams to get keep the deck in the tilted position, and even then it hardly stayed up. The only nice thing about the trailer was the the extra length. Most title deck trailers are usually 10’.
@@jacktrueman Thanks for the information
This freeride have the R motion rear skid? They usually don’t wheelie this easy. Anything done to it?
Yup, that sled had the 137 r motion. It was stock apart from an mbrp trial can. But it was ordered with the 2.25” track so it also had lower gearing then the 1.75” track sleds. Between the track and gearing I think that’s what makes the different, it wheelied just as well as my current 146 freeride
What is your limiter strap set at? 😄
However they come from the factory, I haven’t touched it.
It boggles my mind why spend $20,000 on a mountain sled to wheelie on level snow they are intended for high elevation climbing but all they do I’d flip over when put on steep inclines the sport has lost its direction on snow mobility this is what we did back in the 90’s because 136” was all we had!!!
Not every part of the country has mountains to ride. It’s only a 146 which is a ‘short track’ in today’s standards. And this is just the odd time I go and play in a flat field to do some wheelies for fun. Usually I am riding in the hills and trees doing more technical riding
Is that the non-turbo freeride?
Yes it is
Whats it like so far?
It’s awesome! Very please with it!!
@@jacktrueman that's cool to hear, also just one more quick question is she good on fuel
@@Aiden_509 I don’t really have a good answer for you there, the type of riding I do is to variable to get much of an indication of fuel efficiency and in general sleds are not very fuel efficient
@@jacktrueman that's all good, my goal is gonna try and save up for one of them I heard they are fun
@@Aiden_509 they are definitely fun! A very playful sled!
😫 это шедевр!
I could do that with my skidoo TNT 340 1972😂😂
So what does that prove that you can pull a wheelie doing 5 miles an hour😂
Dammm dude that beast chews
That's all skidoos are good for lol.
How does the free ride 137 trail ride?
Quite good actually, I was running it at the narrow ski stance and it was still manageable on the trails, I had ice scratchers for when the trail was really hard packed but for the most part it didn’t have a problem staying cool.
Pure rotax power right there
You deserve the likes... but I deserve the sled. In all seriousness good job and keep it up!
Lol Thank you!
have you done something to it? to make it wheelie better
No it’s all stock apart from the mbrp quiet can
@@jacktrueman okey
Is it stock or have you done something on it
It is stock
what’s your gearing and how do you like the sled? is it playful enough to move around and side hill etc?
21-45 gearing with the 2.25” track. And yeah definitely a playful sled and does well sidehilling as well.
This sled have the R motion rear skid? If you did you loosen the limiter strap right off to get it to wheelie like this??
Yes it has the r motion, and no i have not loosed the limiter strap on it. It has the 2.25 inch track and lower gearing than other models. That’s the key to the wheelies, not the suspension
Sick video man and sick sled
Thanks man, appreciate it!!
Thanks Jack. You love your Wheelies and getting them down Mat. Just need more Snow still that shed Stick out like a Sore Thumb! 👍🏻 That a good thing. You take Care Gory
Thats a sweet sled! waiting to see what they come out with tomorrow. The only 146 right now is the sp or the freeride... how are you liking ur sled
Super happy with it, the 146 is perfect for what I ride!
@@jacktrueman and look what was just released lol 600r 146 sweet
That was a good whilie jack
Is that an 850 or a 600
It’s an 850, they only make the Freeride in an 850
850. No way on a 600
Jack way to go very Awesome wheelie
Thanks Greg!
Do you like it more then the 137 freeride? Can you notice any difference?
Well the 137 was obviously a better crossover sled with the r motion suspension and wider ski stance but, for the riding I do now I definitely like the new 146 better. It is noticeably better when climbing hills and maintaining an edge when sidehilling. Unfortunately the snow hasn’t been great this year to really test the 146 but it seems to trench quite a bit less than the 137.
Hey Jack. Nice to see that sweet Wrap Shed. Will the Tree Owners let you Make Trails though the Woods? Back in last 70s to 80s that was the hot Tag for Us. Be Safe
No, your not aloud to cut trees on crown land
@@jacktrueman You shedding on Indian land?
@@gregoryh4601 no just ‘crown land’ government owned land
@@jacktrueman ok my mistake
Just curious on if you've ridden your sled on trails that are compact with little snow and how it performs and does it overheat
Haven’t ridden packed trails, I ride a short distance on the road each ride, if there’s no loose snow I use the scratchers and it’s fine for short distances. If you plan on trail riding a short tunnel Freeride you would want the linq snow flap for sure
@@jacktrueman yeah it's actually for my brother. He's looking for a crossover sled so he has the best of both worlds. The problem is they're all calibrated at sea level and he's not at sea level so we were thinking may be the free ride because of the shock package he could adjusted to ride OK on the trails in a 154 yeah he'd have to have the snow flap. It's not sure if that's gonna work or not. I just bought a summit X154 3 inch I ride more deep snow not trails I don't like trails lol
@@MrCoda47 ahh I see, why not a backcountry x as better crossover and just do aftermarket clutching to adjust for his elevation
@@jacktrueman yeah, I kind of was talking to him about that but when you're as old as he is tinkering with things is usually a Know go. Stock is the only way in his mind
@@MrCoda47 yeah fair enough, 154 Freeride might be a bit tippy on the trails though. Wouldn’t be my first choice of a trail sled that’s for sure.
Nice ridding bro but where in the world is that
Thanks man, it’s in Ontario, Canada
@@jacktruemandid you guys get like no snow either this year? I’m also in Ontario Canada and most we got this year is 3-4 feet max
@@ZarekM yes it was a terrible year for snow this past winter. I hardly rode my sled as we never had more than a foot snow on the ground all winter. My area, just south of North Bay typically gets 3 feet of snow on a decent winter
What was your clickers set at? Front and rear?
All shocks are set in the middle, haven’t played with them at all
@@jacktrueman cool thanks. I have a Khaos now but I'm thinking a freeride 146 is my next snowcheck.
@@735Films yeah khaos is suppose to be a playful sled compared to the the rmk but, 146 Freeride is as playful as it gets without a turbo. Very happy with mine. My latest video you can see how it rips in deeper snow!
@@jacktrueman I'll check it out! I'm located in Labrador, Canada so the freeride 146 would suit me better as I don't get out west to the mountains anymore! And I miss the good ol Etec.
Where are you and how much snow do you guys have? West coast of Newfoundland we have 3 feet of powder locally but prolly alot more in the mouth
I’m in Ontario, now we have about 2ft of snow
Jack how did you have suspension set up on this?
As it comes from the dealer, never touched anything. All shocks clickers are in the middle, coupling blocks on 1, never touched the limiter strap. The sled has the 2.25” track and comes stock with lower gearing compared to if you spring ordered then with the 1.75 track.
No electric start?
It does have shot start, just didn’t use it that time. and it was a neat clip to add to the video
Hey Jack. You are Right not much Snow in your Area too. Looks like out West is Taking all the Snow. Jack shed a little heavy for your Wheelies? lol
No it’s not too heavy, just not enough snow for the track to settle in and dig deep enough to get the good long wheelies.
@@jacktrueman sorry I still learning about the New Sheds. It still sweet lookinhg
Thats my dream snowmobile❤
It’s been mine dream sled too, absolutely love it!
Nice
That sound is amazing , every snowmobile video makes me want to have one lol love it if only we had as much snow like that all the time in Canada where I live
Yeah I agree that sled sounded amazing with the mbrp trail can! And yeah I wish we had more snow like that too. This year has been an incredibly slow start to the season where I ride as well.
@@jacktrueman I know , I feel like the past few winters here don’t have much snow maybe just a layer but that’s it not enough for snowmobiles on the Fields anyways
im suprised not more people are on that freeride colour its amazing
Yeah one of my favourite colour schemes!
Somehow I can't identify with taking a $30,000 snowmobile out into the alders and pucker brush..
30k ? Freerides are 12-20k CND plus hst depending on the model. Maybe if you finance at 25% APR.
