awesome vid, I have a trx4 sport and and a bunch of scx24s and the fms fcx24. I think the fms fcx is my favorite little crawler. I also have a traxxas maxx for some bashing every now and then.
@@goreyboggs ya I would get one for sure! I want a trx4m as well, I just feel out of the box the fms is better because it has the torque and slow crawl with plenty of wheel speed with the 2 speed transmission. The trx4 you have to buy extra stuff unless you want strictly a trail truck. Only thing I did to my fms is extended it rear and wheels and tires and it’s a beast

Preety sweet honcho bud I have a trx4 blazer but it's currently in downtime I haven't driven it in a good three weeks now my it was trashed I really drove the crap outta of it and so I didn't pay attention much to the maintenance and all my bearings got seized they worked but I I could not pull em out so I had to replace a my portal bearing and gears they were rusted out I got everything done and at the last minute the bearing in that sits behind the diff gears crumbled up and all the bearings just destroyed my front dif so I'm currently waiting on a new whole front diff fixture but as soon as I get it I'll be driving it again fingers crossed ! Btw I Marine greased the hell outta all the diffs n portal gears and I'll be doing the same with the front diff set
Thanks for watching Adventure! You must have really used the TRX4 alot! I have one too but want to convert to 6x6. But I keep spending money on other things! Lol
@@goreyboggs yeah well I'm not a rich guy so just going and throwing 550 bucks on a crawler is not something I can do on a steady basis or else I'd probably have a whole fleet by now lol most of all my rcs are on the small scale size like from 1/12 to 1/18 scale they are cheaper and maintenance is much easier I'm probably close to 2000 dol deep into my trx 4 by now with all the upgrades and replacements I've done to it and it probably won't stop there lol I do plan on getting another 1/10 scale sometime next year I'm a huge square body buff so if I do get another it will probably be the Cheyenne trail edition with the lift kit and all maybe going red on that one but we'll see still sometime before next year

Enjoyed the vid. I also wonder if some of the reviews are less than frank. I recently retired and built my first RC a TRX4 from the kit which I am enjoying a great deal here in the UK. Happy Christmas to you and family. Best wishes. Alan.
Hey Alan, Merry Christmas to you and you family too! I built the TRX4 over the lockdown a couple years ago. It’s a beast. Do you have the 2 speed on it? It really makes it fun!
Nice drive with your Honcho. For me it is a Cen Ford F450, Redcat Gen 8 V2 and Axial Wraith Spawn.
Hey John! I have been wanting the CEN. How do you like it?
Just found your channel and liked and subscribed bud, awesome video.
Thanks man, really mean a lot.
