Really interesting video Alrx, the signal man had his own Gym, and that wobble on the crossing was crazy! Thanks for uploading as ever and hope you’re doing well, Darren 👍👍👍
Thank you LTB and buses channel lm just an old timer with vast collection of old videos glad you enjoyed thats what its all about Take care. Alrx. 👮👮🍺🍺
Hi Dredgrift thanks for positive comment glad you enjoyed Unfortunately don't have video any more do some swaps All I remember was that was best section for upload Please have wee browse my channel and thank you 📽️📽️. Alrx
I was a regular user of the line at the time this was filmed, that wobble was pretty normal, some stretches were even worse, especially the section from Barrow Haven to Barton. You couldn't get too close to the window or you'd knock yourself out.
Thanks Mark for info certainly a talking point of footage Hopefully it was on speed restiction parts of line and all Drivers adhered to rules Take care Alrx. 🙌🙌👮👮
Hi Richard thanks for viewing few comments about rail disfiguration I don't know obviously the drivers would know and be cautious when approaching please view other uploads and big thanks Alrx 📽️
anyone who's into the paranormal (if you're not, theres no point in commenting just to ridicule) know more about the history of this place? because me and my mate were walking past this signal box on a late summers night a few years ago... and he took a picture of it... and when he looked at the picture, literally seconds later, there was a pale ghostly face in one of the windows! i literally couldn't believe my eyes... and he had next-to-no time to edit it! he still has the picture now... anyone know if something ever happened here?
Hi I'm Alrx the old codger who uploaded old footage looking up Google search several suicides at station 2013 two killed at crossing hit by train at 60 miles per hour no mention of any haunting perhaps contact local paper and perhaps get a result of some sort thank you for viewing and best of luck with your interest in paranormal Alrx 🚆🚆 added link for really disturbing account of paranormal activity
@@alrxanderwylie6512 thank you for your reply! 🙂 curious to know where you found the information about these suicides, may i have the link? if so that might well be an explanation… although it’s strange how the face in the photo is actually in the signal box itself, makes me think something possibly happened in there once upon a time? 🫢 it’s a shame you can’t upload photos in the comments as id love to be able to show you and others haha 🙂 and thank you for that article!
Lovely bit of nostalgia Airx , thank you
