Have you ever gone to a show? I've seen them twice in Seattle and just bought tix since they'll be there again in September. It's one thing to see them in a stadium like this. But in a smaller venue? It's like you're listening to the greatest wedding band of all time LOL Like you're at a private party. They're sooooo fun! The one show I was at they even wandered around in the crowd during a break sipping cocktails and posing for pics. Such a great bunch of guys and their music is amazing!
Dave's stick mishap at 5:38 is astounding. He literally never misses a beat. It was so slick, I had to rewind it twice just to make sure he'd lost one. As a drummer, I'm blown away! He's one of my top three favorite punk rock drummers.

Yeah. Absolute brilliant singer and frontman. Also the whole band performs really awesome in every way. Each musician for himself and altogether. This is more than the sum of its parts, but Spike totally takes it beyond measure. And they fucking kill.

I agree Martech... he can belt the tunes!! Sick voice, especially when doing the soft ballad... Love the punk rock versions of these songs tho, and they have so many more that rock too... Awesome band and energy!! Kind of an "in your face" type of vibe when on stage from these guys

Back in 94, some band called Doc Hopper covered "Come Sail Away" like this but probably better. They opened for my band, opening and closing their set with it. To be honest, it's hard to follow up whiplash Styx with a jam band. I hold no grudges. They ruled.

Seeing these guys on stage reminds me of the Punk in Drublic show in Mesa this past weekend. It was incredible seeing three founding members on stage!
Their "Stairway to Heaven" with the intentional fuck-ups sounds better than most of the actual Led Zeppelin live versions of the song.
I think it's cuz he only sings covers, the only original songs I know are from the voltas
