I wanted to do a book journal this year. I just have so many physical books that I have had for years and years that I needed to sort through. So I decided to focus on cataloging and reading what I have. Next year once I have a better handle on what I have I plan on doing a book journal so I can track series and books I want to get and such. I really liked the lay-out of your journal. I would definitely need a more simple lay-out broken down by month.

✏✏✏ I also decides to go extremely simple with my reading journal this year. Keeping up a complicated journal caused me more stress than I wanted last year. And I also decided to do the monthly bookshelf of read books. I think it will be so cute when done!

If you need to add a page in on your Spin the Bottle tally page, the easiest thing to do would be a tip-in using washi tape. Jashii Corrin here on YT recently made a video on all sorts of tip-ins if you need inspiration on what kind would work for your needs.

✏️ I love the simplicity of your journal! I think that will be so key with keeping up with it. I track all of my bookish things in a google sheet and have a physical journal for like stream of consciousness stuff, but I love how you’re combining the two and making it multi-purpose. It’s inspiring me to think about how I could do the same!
