I'm confused by the strumming patterns
how did you figure out the strumming patten?
Thanks ! You're welcome !
Thaaaaanks 3
this song is actually not featured by jenna mcdougall but lindsey stamey
Hey man great video, but could you tell me what you're doing at 4:44 when you leave E, what's that chord you're playing? Or were you just transitioning to G#?
I'm confused on the type of G# chord I can't get it , it doesn't sound right I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong :/
It's quite hard to "teach" a strumming pattern in words, it's really all about listening, getting a feel for the beat, and figuring out the timing. Watch my tutorial or cover lots and lots, try and play along with me, and eventually you'll get the pattern because you've heard the song so many times. It's a great skill to have so you can play any song anyone gives to you really quickly.
can you explain the strumming and if you stum up and down on the chords
Just tune your guitar in Standard tuning and then tune one half step down, it's very simple.
Standar: E A D G B E
Half step down: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb
What was the song at the end?
Thanks so much!
Could you make a yeah boy and doll face tutorial please?
I am having problems with the strum pattern, and I suck at picking it up by just listening. Can you elaborate on it?
Honestly, it's very hard to try and teach a strumming pattern by simply writing it, and the way I had to learn was just by ear, listening to the rhythm and just trying to play along with the music, thats what helped me the most. So i've you've got all the chords and the changes down, then just try to play along with the song. Just for the sake of it I'll write out the pattern too: D D DUD UU D DUDU. Hope that all helps !
How do I tune half step down? Im hella confused
Thank you :3 I shall be playing this for my bf tomorrow ^-^ x
awesome! thanks. :D
what's the strumming pattern?
Strumming pattern for me is DD-UU-D-DUDU but it can be anything that sounds right to you I guess
yo just copied n pasted wat he said

I wanna play it but my hand is to small it doesn't go round the neck :/
What's the strumming pattern? I can't figure it out :/
subscribed bc of the fact that you played coffee shop soundtrack in the beginning and your acc and taste in music 😂
ALL TIME LOW
what are the chords ?
I think the strumming pattern is DDDUDUUDUDU
What's the song that played in the beginning? And do you have a tumblr?(:
Strumming pattern ?!?
You're so talented I hope I can get good enough to learn this one day!! I'm just a beginner right now
did u ever learn it
You have to retune it. It's impossible to play it in key with putting it a half step down, as all the chords have open strings in them. Do you have an electronic tuner? Putting your guitar half down isn't hard, it should be Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,eb, or D#,G#,C#,F#,A#,d#. Those two tunings are exactly the same, Basically everything goes lower by one semitone, you can still play all the normal chords and shapes that you do in standard, just at a lower pitch. Hope this helps, have fun retuning!
I am you 1,000 suscriptor, sorry for my bad english xD
i might just have fallen for you the moment the music the started at the beginning of the video hahaha
tabs?
I need help with the strumming pattern. >_>
Strumming pattern ._.?
STRUMMING PATTERN PLEEEASE
I think the strumming pattern is DDUUD
You should add in the strumming pattern!(: I have everything down except for that cx
can someone please write the tunning for me?
psych0_mind D# G# C# F# A# D# I believe.
Can you show the strum pattern? Its killing me!
I thought the guitar's tuned drop C#?
that is the case for the electric songs, but acoustic versions are a half step down.
I see, so you're a man of culture as your Paramore photo suggests?
standard tuning?
+Spencer Quinn But a half step down. So its all flat.
i'm a bit confused with the beginning like do you have to tune the guitar differently?
you put your capo on the first fret and then tune it to standard
kekeyagami That would make it a step up. it's step down song so you couldn't do this song with a capo
Rulestorm429 you dont play the song with the capo on you put the capo on then tune it and take the capo off
Ah I see, I hadn't thought of that method. cleaver thinking, but I don't own a capo so I wouldn't know to begin with anyway xD
+Rulestorm429 if you dont own a capo you can use a pencil and rubber bands it worked well for me or you can just hold down the first fret of each string and tune it that way
confused with the strum patterns
How do you do it half step ?
Sorry for a late reply but if you still need an answer it's easy to do with a tuner but you take standard tuning EADGBE and tune each string a half step down making low E string D#, A string G#, D string C#,G string F#, B string A#, and high E string D# to make the tuning D#G#C#F#A#D# if you don't know musical symbols the # means sharp sorry didn't feel like writing it all out completely
The tuning I gave you looks different but is the same tuning he gives you but in sharps not flats but they mean the same thing hope that helped despite my late reply
dude an easier way to half step is just download a guitar tuner app then put a capo on the first fret and tune it normally way easier than all that and if you dont have a capo i just used a pencil and rubber bands works just as good. good to make things simple
+Dominic Talley may i know how to use a tuner to tune it half step down ? cz i only know to tune it in standard tuning.
this covers the basics, but i need help figuring out all the guitar fills, tabs are not helping 100%.
Standar tunning? .-.
Yeah but tune it half step to that
Darkcicle Sebastian I looked up half step down tuning and tuned it by ear. It seemed to work well for me.
Yeap, thats just G#
dude . finally . : Dhee. thanks .
heyy .. check out my new cover song video .
Shit. I just dropped my pic in my guitar. I hate it when this happens
daegbe
