Oh man, haven't heard that since like '97. Was convoying from Buson to Camp Casey and seen a lady walk out between 2 parked trucks to cross the street. BLAM! Worst timing ever.
back in my hometown, these truck drivers will be afraid to do it... we will chase them or wait on their return & beat the shit out of them... its either theyll never use that road again or learn to slowdown...

Best advice for Thailand ever sir. Just explore. I often take my day backpack and head off into any direction, after a day of adventure, seeing interesting places and meeting beautiful people, I will just get a taxi back to my hotel. (Always take a business card from your hotel with the name and address in Thai, that makes it much easier to get back when you had too many beers.)
I rarely make "plans" while traveling especially in Thailand. I have an outline in my head but there are so many hidden treasures to discover plans go out the window quickly. Only thing I planned was my 1st trip for surgery at Phuket International Hospital.
@@somkit9102 Agreed and if I need elective surgery I would not think twice about another trip to the table there. The care and accommodations were 1st class. The same surgery in the states would have been 25k or more. I paid $8,750.00 that included surgeries, doctor, hospital fee for 13day stay. Then 29days exploring, falling in love with the people. That was in 2002 and I have been back every year until Covid-45. I'm not particularly fond of the holidays so I go from late OCT to Feb.
Since coming across your channel on UA-cam I just simply want to say how much I've enjoyed your travels and watching them as you travel. Please keep up the good work.
I don't understand why anyone would give you a thumbs down. I love your videos. I always wanted to see Thailand and get the prospective of the places where tourists don't go. Great job and thanks.
Came across your videos a little while ago now I'm so addicted to your channel, did you find out how the little daihatsu Mira cost,?.we think the UK needs to be introduced to these little fun pickups, keep Motor biking 🏍😀
We sooo proud of you bro keep it up man you've been doing great work...cb media represent for the Americans back home very good but you know how it is here but overall we so proud of you
Great stuff CB. If you are still on your way on the Coast stay on the coastal road heading for Rayong and pass through Ban Phe, where you can catch a ferry to Ko Samet, then round the headland to the east and you will then be travelling on Hat Mae Rumphueng Road. Tucked in just behind and east of the headland is Laemya Restaurant and Bar. It’s a great spot for lunch right on the beach. The host and owner is Kan, a lovely lady, who will look after you. Tell her that Tony recommended her restaurant to you. Enjoy Mate.
You've made many stellar videos. This one ranks as one of the best. I laughed out loud at several of your outlandish scenes. Especially liked the scene where the hard rain was stinging you on the motorbike (video effect was cool too). Had a few of those experiences myself. Also liked the deep fried banana beer scene. Your friendly outgoing personality fits well in Thailand. I pray for your continued good health and happiness.
I've been there. Great kitesurfing spot. Thai nationals go there for holidays...barely any farangs know about the place or visit. Thanks for the upload!
"Don't plan anything and go with the flow". Words of wisdom my friend, words of wisdom! That's the best way to travel. Pick a point on the map and see what happens trying to get there. Fantastic video brother 👍✌️👊
Love this channel one day I will travel to Thailand but until that day I will watch your videos and be extremely invious of the life you get to live everyday! Live that life because it's the only one we got cheers !
I backpacked SE Asia and Europe without ever making plans. I always showed up and asked other backpackers where they were going and I tagged along. It was fun.
Exceptional travel advice. Some of my best and most memorable trips were ones that were not planned. I feel like you're less likely to be disappointed as well, since you're not even sure what to expect. It gives you a whole new perspective on travelling.
Chad, I am super envious of the life you are living! I wish I could do what you are doing! Love watching your videos and living vicariously through you! Please keep making the great videos and stay safe!
Chad, You can mail your bike cheaply through Thai post office or you can put it on the train. But glad for the epic road trip through Thailand's industrial nether regions.
Always nice to hear you openminded suggestions and true fact, also about about the crazy Thai Streets driver. Yes enjoy it occasionally and go on like that. Great trip !!
I do have to say , love your life and the idea of eating , drinking beer and enjoying the beach. I hope to make it over there this year from Canada. Great video
Yeah mate, you hit the right road. I travelled so often from KC to PTY by motorbike. These beaches are always crowded like this except for the weekends, especially on Saturday.
You just made my day! No my week month and year. I've been scratching my head figuring out a " total plan " for my European trip next year . Now I know I really don't need a day by day step by step plan..... thank you !!!!
You are quickly becoming my favorite here on You Tube. As I write this, I am in Grand Centre Point in Bangkok. I was excited to come back to Thailand but quickly realized with my own eyes...Not the same country i left back in January 2020. Don't get me wrong, I just had too high expectations and should have waited to return here in October or November.
Man…you’re making want to return to Thailand. Yeah the main roads in Thailand are a dangerous playground, backroads are the way to go, many interesting places to visit. What a beautiful beach & all for yourself. Food looked great, got to love PawPaw salad. เผ็ด! Great video that’s for sharing. PS. Nice bike, love the colour. Perfect to been seen, especially on Thailand roads. Stay upright & be safe.
Great to see you enjoying Laem Sing. I discovered it about 20 years ago when my wife was studying jewelry in Chanthaburi. I plan on returning in January to buy land for my retirement home! Cheers!
be safe my friend; I had fractured my Pelvis in a cycling accident last week; and now, it amazes me that I did not become grease mark on my adventures on a motorbike in Saigon (Epic!) or within the myriad of Adventures in Thailand, (Seriously.)
I've driven this route before on a motorbike - lots of small fishing villages, great little beaches, national parks and beach restaurants - enjoy the journey
If you are "planning" to ride between pattaya and chonburi, make sure to check out Ko loi, nice rocky pier, stranded here last weekend during a storm, was amazing!
This hidden jewel definitely tests your discipline to drink extra beer. Know you have control over the alcohol when you need to. This was a enlightening vlog, Lamsing beach is definitely on my must vists while in Thailand after watching this. Keep well and please travel/be safe. Itchy footed in western Canada.
After arriving in Bangkok middle of march 2020 , a week later i went down to Rayong to take the boat to Kho Samet & they had just shut down the island that day ...just missed it by a couple hours , i ended up going back to Rayong with a girlfriend who drove & we really got to explore it & gotta say very nice part of Thailand definately 🌄

How much per liter other there Chad? (Gas)
I
We need more “Day drunk Chad” videos haha
I couldn't agree more

Yes sir… lol

YES!!! Drunk Chad is the best!!!
In Korea, we referred to the big dump trucks as "Terminators" because of how one-sided the accidents end up being.

Agree that one needs to stop along the journey to get the most out of local life. Good Advise - Nice Video.
Definitely "go with the flow" when traveling in Thailand. Like your style.
You're not just living the dream, you're living my dream. Nice work, Chad. When you can stop whenever and where ever you like, that's living.

MY first trip to Thailand was overbooked. Second trip, Vietnam and Bali, literally no bookings other than the arrival. True Chad!
Thats an amazing hotel for $13, best unplanned stayover ever!
Well, 600 baht is closer to US$20 ... $19.24 right now according to SDCC app. He was probably looking at GBP, which would be 13.64 right now.

Is that beach ⛱ always deserted, even before the pandemic? Or is it due to the pandemic that it's so deserted?
@@frankserpico6785 Quite deserted except on Holidays. The beach is short and muddy in rainy season because it next to the river mouth.
