@Yeah use it more oftenly I think its your first time playing hollow knight most of the new players ignore it I did that too with my first playtrough and keep playing the game and you are good at the game for a first time player
Is cyclone slash the only nail art you have? If so spam the attack button while doing cyclone slash that'll extend it If you have the great slash stop bothering with cyclone slash and justnuse great slash
I'd also like to add that thorns of agony isnt the charm you want to take into most boss battle since it lessens the amount of invincibility frames while only doing a little greater than a nail hit
