Your thrift stores had some really great books! So many cute cozy mystery books. I get most of my books at thrift stores as well. Love finding bargins!!
The Only One Left! You have to read it! It’s so good. It was my favorite of last year. And I did read that Kristin Harmel book. It was good and I gave it 4 stars. I hope you enjoy it!
I know!! I am making it a thing to get to it before the end of the year! And oooohh that makes me more excited about it. I have so many historical fiction and always put them off, I just need to read them because when I do, I enjoy them!
I have read Tomorrow x3, it was good til a certain chapter where the female main character is in a bad relationship, and then towards the end it was a bit weird. But I do have the A.J. Fikry book by Gabrielle Zevin that I got from a thrift store! Haven't read it yet, but I'm hoping it's good. I am currently reading the Ten Thousand Doors of January that we spotted in your last thrift store video! I'm enjoying it so far. Oo I would have picked up The Only one Left as well! I haven't read any Riley Sager. Love the cozy books you found! I hardly ever see any where I am. And I would love a thrifting 101 video!
Ohh I’m super curious now! And I see that one often thrifting! I picked it up and then unhauled it but think about picking it up again! But maybe when I get through some of the others I just grabbed! So so glad you’re enjoying Ten Thousand Doors of January! I haven’t heard very much about it so this makes me more excited!
Hi, you found a lot of books for great prices! I hope you got my message with recs on the last video. Today I would have picked up any of the following Nora Robert's, Catherine Coulter, Kristin Hannah they had a few of her great books, Sophie Kinsella, Richard Paul Evans,Jude Deveraux they had some of her good books, Karen Robards, Fiona Davis, Sandra Brown they had many of hers and Karen Kingsbury. Happy reading 📚 😊
I see them quite often, it’s always so different to see what pops up often in areas and what doesn’t! I have a friend who saw a book I’m looking for a handful of times and I NEVER do!
My local thrift stores don’t have great books like yours do they only have old ones or old mass paper backs not sure if I just get there late or resellers are on it every day to take them all
Sometimes when I go that happens as well! Recently I’ve been having great luck though 😅 it’s also funny since everyone’s book preferences are so different, I’m sure when I go and don’t find anything, someone else would go and have a great time!
I just bought the first 3 books in the Coffeehouse Mystery Series. I plan on starting them tomorrow. I hope I can find more of the series if I like these first 3.
@@dayswiththedoyles I'm loving the Coffeehouse Series! It's a page turner and what is so cute is there is a reference to coffee on every page or the word coffee in such clever ways. I'm such a big coffee drinker. I don't know if you could read each book as an individual book or not but the first book does explain how Clare is associated with the Coffeehouse.
@@dayswiththedoyles if you do decide to read her books so those two and also the search, northern lights and Angel falls…. Also her newest one is good it’s called mindgames
I would have picked up some classic sci-fi hardcovers, The Girl with the Louding Voice, Washington Black by Esi Edugyan, The Last Garden of England, Small Mercies, A Scatter of Light by Malinda Lo, and Fresh Water for Flowers by Valérie Perrin at the first thrift shop!
At 2nd try, I'd have grabbed The Storied Life of AJ Firky, A Room with a View by Forster, The Secret Life of Sunflowers (simply because of the name), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and The Passion by Jeanette Winterson :)
🙋♀️thrifter!! But I have no control so i come home with 20 plus every time. Haha. I have banned myself until i make a dent in the stacks of books that now make a wall where a door once was. Hahah.....no joke..
They are fairly hard to find! Baker book house is a site where I go to purchase most of mine now but if you just want to browse and possibly pick them up from the library that would be a good place too!
@@britniewing4012 All of the ones I’ve read have been and I know generally you can expect them to be, but I’m sure there are a few out there that aren’t. I haven’t come across any just yet!
I love the Jaine Austen series! You can totally read them out of order too
I can’t wait to start it! I live a good cozy with humor! And perfect, thank you!!🥰
I love book thrifting videos. Thanks for the keeping it up
They’re some of my favorite too! Thank you for being here!😊

Omg 😱 The Bookish Life of Nina Hill is one of my absolute favorites!!! I hope you love it as much as I did. 🥰
Oohh this makes me so excited to get to it!😍
I read The Only One Left and passed it on to my friend. We both loved it!!
Ohhh this makes me even more excited for it!🤩
I would have grabbed the 2 Kristin Hannah books as I never see them in thrift storea
I see them quite often, it’s always so different to see what pops up often in areas and what doesn’t! I have a friend who saw a book I’m looking for a handful of times and I NEVER do!
Great haul! The second place you went to had great books. 📚🍁🍂
Thank you! I feel like Good Stuff (the first store) used to have the best selection, but now 2nd Ave does have the best!

Hi, I enjoyed your vlog with my best friend! We enjoyed looking at the different books that you bought!
Thank you both for watching!😊
@@dayswiththedoyles I commented on your Reading Indie Romcoms vlog! :)
I'd pick any David Baldacci book The White Tiger Francine Rivers Karen Kingsbury ETC...!!
I haven’t read any David Baldacci, I need to give his work a try!
You should’ve gotten Nora Roberts the Obsession and Montana Sky they’re so good
I’ve heard those two are great!! They seem to be many people’s favorites by Nora! I haven’t read anything by her 😬

I recently bought Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez and A Man Called Ove while at my local library sale. I spent $1.50 for 1 paperback and 1 hardback!

I've had All Things New on my TBR forever now! 2025 goals. ;)
I know it’s not one I’ll get to very soon either!😅
P.S. was supposed to say Riley Sager, for the book you want your husband to read.
I would of chose Lee child blue moon
I am trying to read clean closed door or christian fiction for october. Hard to find books though

I do have books on there but they’re up near the top and I sit on the floor 😊
