Do you ever thrift for decor or other items? That would be nice to also see. Sometimes, that's just how it happens. I did some good Iris Johansen, Sandra Brown and Catherine Coulter books maybe next time keep your eyes out fir them may find something you like? The last 3 times I have gone thrifting, the books were so expensive, and I didn't find anything. Enjoy your day 📚😊

I cannot believe you didn’t take the Riley Sager book! It is good! Unless you already have. Lol
I was going to! But then I pulled it out and the dust jacket was ripped in multiple places and the pages had a bit of discoloration that looked like it could have possibly been mold so I didn’t want to take a chance 😓
My local library has a free book cart and a continuous shelf of books for sale. I’ve gotten some good books for free
The libraries are the best! I should have just gotten enough courage to continue wandering around, I’m sure they had another sale section that I just wasn’t able to find! Are the free books mostly ex-library and then the sale are donations? That’s what it seemed this one may have been! My local library has their sale section for .25 for anything whether ex-library or donation, which is still so amazing!🤩
@@dayswiththedoyles At my library the free books are library books the library board puts on the free cart. I don’t know about the books for sale though.
I’ve heard JT Geissinger is really good. I haven’t read her yet but I’ve heard good things so if you like it I may check her out too.

We got a 2nd and Charles in a town I stay in a lot and it’s a college town. They price indie romances stupidly cheap. But the thing that gets me that they do is second hand copies of BOTM copies. They’re all prices $14.95. WhAt. If you buy just two then you’ve already overpaid. Plus, you didn’t get a bookmark. It baffles me.
Also.
Indie Romance > Traditionally Published Romance every time. It’s getting a little better because so many are getting picked up by Bloom and Berkeley and Atria and the likes. But I also don’t want everybody going that route. I like the freedom indie authors have to put out books as often and as quickly as they want.
I wish we had a 2nd and Charles! But that makes no sense. I’m also someone that tried their best not to get BOTM because the logo drives me nuts on the spine…. But I do have some! But maybe it’s because some people exclusively try to find them?
And I agree! I’ve been LOVING indie romances! You’re right though, a good deal are getting picked up I feel like Bloom has been one so many are getting picked up by! I love finding new indie authors to give a try!

😂😂 I get it! I have a kindle and kindle unlimited as well… and still find myself buying books I could have read and tried on kindle unlimited before actually buying them! That’s going to be a new goal of mine… if they’re on kindle unlimited I have to read them there before I buy them!
Confused as to why you didn’t ask the librarian at the desk where the for sale books were. “I’m weird like that,” seems like a peculiar excuse.
