I think the trigger is somewhat wrong because it falls in Abandoned Checkout flow. Where Abandoned Cart trigger is “added to cart”,But for that we have to go through some procedure to activate this trigger.

We typically do the discount at the 3rd or 4th email. We typically have 4-7 emails in the flow.

It depends what you want to build. The typical abandoned cart automation should start from checkout started.
