    Yeah I started glossing and you can tell the difference. It doesn't look like glass, but it does look noticeably shinier. I use argon oil to enhance the shine.

    Toooo coincidental! I’m also a REDKEN stylist.. who has zero time at the holidays to get my own hair done. I set myself up to use 07NA+07P on zone 1 (roots) and 10VV+09V zones 2/3. As I’m starting THIS video popped in my inbox! Sooo funny! Merry Christmas girl!

    I love Redken Shades EQ. I just did a glaze earlier today since I was getting really brassy. I have very dark natural hair lightened to a level 8/9. I used 9v, 9p and 9n for a sandy blonde. I love how shiny and smooth my hair looks afterwards!

      Hi I’ve just bought these exact shades - what amounts should I use for each for medium length hair? And should I add some crystal clear? Also how long do you leave this formula on? Thanks! 💕

    • @barbymoran320
      @barbymoran320 3 роки тому +1

      @@evan180707 Hi! I use equal amounts of each one. I’ll use maybe 0.5 oz of each and then 1.5 oz of the developer equaling 3 oz total. I apply this to damp, towel dried hair and process for about 15 minutes. I’ve noticed that redken level 9 toners tend to darken to a level 8 on dry hair processed for the full 20. Adding a bit of the clear gloss wouldn’t be a bad idea. This toner fades after a couple weeks so there’s s little wiggle room for trial and error to see what works for you!

    My stylist uses gloss on my hair when it needs "life" again. To get rid of dull highlights/balayage. She just put an ash toned gloss in my hair recently because it was looking way too gold. It's an Aveda Salon, so Aveda products is what she uses. It helps a lot for a little while, but then need to redo it. Seems to look shinier on brunettes.

    • @Angelofloveandhappiness

      Which brand do u think is better between Aveda and Redkin?

    • @GenXer333
      @GenXer333 Рік тому

      Joosie, I've never been a fan of Redken. And I'm not a big fan of Aveda now either. Once the hair is damaged, it's damaged (regardless of what stylists, UA-camrs, or people have to say)! With that said, I like Kerastase products. I've tried many high end products throughout the years, but keep going back to Kerastase. I'm also avoiding blonde. Once I achieved the perfect beige blonde, I liked it for just a little while until the breakage happened. I also lost all of the shine. I'll stick with more darker tones with darker highlights, because shiny and healthy looks better than even the best of blonde tones out there. Cheers.

      @@GenXer333 i used to highlight my hair too. The last 15 yrs ive been going dark.. my roots are grey now and i have to keep dying them with Bigen. Im wondering if Bigen is thinning my hair the top of my head. Do u know of a semi permanent color that doesnt lift color and will cover greys?

    • @GenXer333
      @GenXer333 Рік тому

      You can try a demi-permanent hair color. Only use a 10 vol peroxide if you just want to deposit color. Also avoid anything that says "golden brown" or anything other than a neutral brown. The golden based dyes, etc., don't do much for coverage like a "neutral" based color will. Or if you're happy with the color you've been using, then do roots only with a permanent color. I like using a demi because it would be easier to lift of I decide on darker highlights, balayage, etc. Less damage. Good luck!

    I use color fusion 6nn. Would I add it to the color? How much do I add? Or can I use a similar color? I saw Moroccan sand and chestnut brown but can’t tell which one is closest to the fusion 6nn! Ugh. No one will tell me.

    I have a question my hair is so dry from shampooing everyday putting gel in it and also box color. I recently started going back to the hair salon to get it done professionally. But I was wondering if I was to get a gloss treatment will it still be shiny without blow drying and flat ironing it? Sometimes I just don't want to blow dry it and let it air dry instead.

    Hi Silvia, is a glaze or a gloss better? I'm not really sure what the difference is!

    You can’t buy shades EQ anywhere unless you’re a damn stylist. And amazon third party seller overprices it. I don’t support that.

      Try ebay. My friend sells authentic Olaplex no 1 and no 2, and Brazilian blowout 3 step treatment to anybody. A LOT of people do this. The olaplex no 1 is far more expensive, but you can find a 3.3 oz for $67-$80. You can find Olaplex no 2 17.75 oz for $38. Even if you don’t want Olaplex no 1, you can get a HUGE bottle of Olaplex no 2 for $38 that’ll last you months if not a whole year. If you compare that price and size to the Olaplex no 3 3.3 oz size sold at Sephora for $28, you really see the savings, plus it has SO much more of Olaplex’s patented ingredient. I believe no 2 is 50%, compared to the no 3 which is extremely diluted. Close to 7%.

    • @ruthie_rosario
      @ruthie_rosario 4 роки тому

      You can find plenty of reputable sellers on eBay that sell authentic Olaplex and redken EQ shades, along with other products used in salons. I don’t see what’s so wrong with it, considering these products are not anymore dangerous than what is sold at Sally’s.

    • @aldijana124
      @aldijana124 4 роки тому +1

      Ruthie R Yeah. I don’t trust third party sellers because they water down the product. That’s why Olaplex was pulled from Amazon. I only buy it if I can see it w my own eyes, such as from Sephora. You trust your friend, good on you.
      I don’t have eBay. I was only talking about shades EQ above....

    • @aldijana124
      @aldijana124 4 роки тому +1

      Ashley I don’t care. I just said I buy it at Sephora ! Seriously stop talking about Olaplex to me. I know ALL about Olaplex 1 thru 7. Sephora has ALL of them 1 - 7. They also have olaplex 0. Don’t wanna hear about it.
      And I’m not getting EBay SOoo my comment about
      Shades EQ still stands, from what I said in the begging.

I want to see if I can do it and get the stuff at RDA . I’m just clueless when it comes to color or formulating unless someone one gives me the step by step I can

    Hi Elle, I currently have a full head bleached and toned blonde, which is mostly very light, and the toners never seem to last too long. I have decided I want to have low-lights, so I dont have to cope with the dark roots every few weeks with the full blonde look. Can you suggest any good shades, I want to stay somewhat blondish, but obviously tone it down from full on. The salon which I go too, uses Matrix, and my hairdresser is a young chap who is just lovely and always eager to try different colours. Any advice on what shades to have put in would be appreciated, thank you from England x
