They really need to make different tiers of the ears. Like getting an ear from a level 60 should look different than getting an ear from a level 20
This seem like a good idea at first but when you think about it in long run you will see much less makgoras if you make tiers because people wont feel prestige for low level ears and on high level people are more scared to even fight so at the end there would be muuuch less makgoras happening overall. One tier i think is good to make you feel strong even on lower levels
yes the whole ear thing should get more love. It should have a highscore board, some n1 prices for winning one etc. You could do so much more

Even if the warrior is 60 he is literally using greens and some blues from the looks of his gear. There's no way to win that, you just don't do enough damage to mage and generate no rage on frost shield. Even if the mage is 5 levels lower, the outcome is the same.

@@MeowMeow6118a The common thing about these max lvl duels is that its people who want to quit, and they then find a streamer to duel. They probably dont have the greatest amount of pvp experience. The cool makgoras are the beef makgoras

I mean what else you are going to do at 60 , u level up u hit 60 and u duel till u die and then if u want to raid u can transfer
Warriors only hope is to get the charge off and FAP ASAP to get out of the nova. He then has to pop reck and force a block.
Tactical mastery allows for charge to generate enough rage to pummel sheep and keep the pressure. With reck Up you get some rage from the auto attack, Enough to mortal strike and pressure; force a block mage now at 50% and your fap still 15 seconds duration. If he blinks out of block you intercept or charge OOC and if he doesnt (might nova) ur fap saves and he gets clapped.
Have to play mad aggressive especially against squishy 54 mage.
keep in mind mage can LIP for 4 seconds to either sheep and force a trinket or reduce effective fap duration. Not many people been doing it as it's not needed most of the time but it gives another layer of protection vs fap
For a warrior to survive against a great mage, you need about 5 level difference minimum to win.

I duelled over 100 warriors back in classic for gold. Not a single time it was even remotely close. With how out of combat works in classic there is not a single possibility for a mage to lose this duel. Like even a Warrior with Naxx gear will lose 10 out of 10 times without getting even remotely close. The only chance a Warrior has in classic vs a mage is if the Mage DCs or has a stroke mid fight. Or he is extremely overleved but even then the odds are against him by a lot.
The warrior clearly wanted the spotlight since he probably is done with HC after 60. Not saying Ziqo isn't a great player, but his MakGoras have been extremely weak. When he finally duels another ranged or Mage at the same level and wins consider me impressed. But duelling melees in classic as a mage is just cringe imo.
It's possible to win. Need to maybe pop a skull and take dot damage to prevent the reset.

Yeah mages are rough, the only thing that helped was using the ice reflect trinket. Was always funny when they would just spam frost bolt and blow themselves up.
I agree, you notice this in leveling all classes / specs to begin with.
The problem in classic is you can mount and eat and go out of combat in a duel and also in arena. Doesn't make any sense, but hey its a old game..
If that isnt enough the classes and specs all counter certain classes and specs, so some match ups are impossible.

Unless the 60 warrior has raid gear/Pvp gear, the 56 mage wins that duel everytime. He didn't even use half of his tools. Warrior can do nothing in this matchup.

Mak'gora should be reserved for melee combatants only. This is just a pathetic and unfair fight. Running away to drop combat, eat/drink or "reset" should be considered as running away, plain and simple - immediate disqualification and dishonorable penalty for doing so in a true mak'gora.

The only way you beat a competent frost mage, is if the universe itself comes to your rescue, and disconnects the mage from the game, then you might win before he logs back in, or he phases out completely.
if you don't make mistakes as a mage you only can lose vs rogue or hunter everything else is easy. For me is the whole makgora thing kinda shit in classic bc some classes counters others

in EVERY makgora with a warrior I've seen so far, NOBODY is using rend after harmstring. it's almost more important than harmstring to get through barriers and get overpower procs to blast the rest of the barrier. why is nobody using it, do I miss something?
