yes its in settings under accessibility display then reduce motion then you can use 60hz or use low power mode so its at 60hz

this seems like a very complicated and destructive method, and requires knowing how to solder.
if you unscrew all the screws holding the board down and unplug all the small connectors on the top portion by the camera as well as the two that are hidden under that black cover, you can simply slide the whole battery out as one piece and then slide the new one back in, similar to how you would do it on the ipad 7/8/9. reconnecting everything is a bit tricky though.
