You have to draw curtains in order to use it. It's not bright enough with windows open. I have another projector which is significantly brighter than the BenQ but I still have to draw curtains too.
Hey, wow nice. You came to my place Guntur Amaravati.... I hv been watching your videos of stylus since so many days....So you travelled here much, you even visited vijayawada, Mangalagiri.... temples...when did you do all this travel?
@@teohontech7141 Nice time it was in 2018 indeed. Not elsetime..especially in the last decade 2018 was the best time when people got active ness. Inside and showed interest to travel and for the reason that the environment here supported such travel activities to all people here too.... I don’t know which year could be similar but first day of this decade ended as easy as it arrived. Anyway Happy New Year ....
Thanks for the review .. there are few close match in the market. Can you compare BenQ GS2 Vs LG CineBeam PF50KS (Full HD) Vs ViewSonic M2 (Full HD) ? or guide any compare video / site. Apart from full HD they all are very close match and making buying choice very difficult..
- Get 1080P if you can - Higher brightness is better - No need to get internal battery if you're not going to be using outdoors - Internal battery useful if you want to keep protector away in a cupboard when not in use - Battery life will drop with years to come
Nice review, i would like to ask i have this projector, but why the battery lights indicator doesn’t turn off ? I already turned off the power bottom and the projector is off already but the lights still on? Please advise
That's the dumb thing about this protector. Holding the power button (on unit or remote) for 3s to shut down completely SOMETIMES does not work. So it's always in standby mode.
Teoh on Tech thanks..by the way about your tripods is that a standard size? Because im confused i think the screw at the bottom is quiet small than the standard size of tripods?? Is there any siZe to mention while buying tripod for this model of projector? Thanks for advice
@@jayarenieto9835 There are two sizes for tripod mount, big and small. The BenQ GS2 tripod mount is the typical size (small) found on many cameras. So if you buy any tripod, it should work.
Teoh Yi Chie Thanks again. What about your Netflix is it working via screen mirroring? I use HDMI because screencast doesn’t work on my phone and ipad😓😓😓Is there any solution to this ?
Thats what happen with projector manufactures, they lie about spec from resolution to lumens. In your case its 720p native resolution, they list 1080p as the projector is able to accept 1080p signal not project it
Xiaomi should be better since it's true 1080P. BenQ is only 720P. They have the same brightness. Main selling point of the BenQ is portability since it has built in battery.
@@teohyc many thanks. last question. Do you think it's worth spending more with the Xiaomi Mijia 2PRO ($600) vs Smart Youth 2 ($400) ? Difference is huge between the 2 from what you know or have seen ?
@@elcaddor I was actually very close to getting the Xiaomi Mijia 2PRO. That is much better because it has higher brightness, meaning you will see more contrast, better colours. You do get what you pay for.
Hey just came up with same quesiton and received the answer that input lag for gaming is 2 frame (33.34ms) 60Hz from their seller. You make take it as reference.
Excellent review. Thank you so much for this. Keep the videos coming!
Great review, very useful information , thank you
Thank you for the review. May I know how is the image quality at day time, if not drawing curtains?

sir pls tell how it is for classroom teaching in daylight
It's not going to be bright enough for daylight. You will have to use curtains.

Alright, finally figured out how to shut down completely. Hold power button 3s to go to standby mode, then press and hold power button 3s to shut off.

Nice review Teoh. But I was wondering about the game. Have you try install few android games on the Projector?
There’s no Google Play Store so I don’t know how to install games. Anyway, it’s Andriod 6 so not sure what games are supported
Can you charge projector with USB-C port and power bank?
Not sure. Check their online manual
