I vinyl-wrap vehicles for living (vans, cars and trucks), although it’s a slightly different material and you don’t use water, I have a great appreciation for people who can explain such process well, like in this video. Really well done 👌
Yes definitely worth the $$ and effort. And best new, before any riding. My current bike was wrapped new, is 4 years old and still looks new despite countless crashes. Great stuff.
Yeah its quite daunting at first if you haven’t done it before and you will screw up a few times. The main thing is follow the mfrs instructions as they do know how to get the best results. My tip would be squeegee more aggressively than you think you should, the film will take it as long as you dont move the position. Personal recommendation for invis, they’ve been really great to deal with.
In all other videos, the 'slip' concentrate doesn't come out in discreet drops like it does in this video. Instead, it oozes out like honey. So I guess, make sure packet is warm? This is the best of the multiple videos I've seen. Interesting that this doesn't come up when one searches "Ride Wrap".
Fitted a ride wrap tailored kit to my fresh new Reign E+ 1 last night, first time I’d ever installed a frame protection, there are a few bubble but it wasn’t too bad, took me just over 3 hours. The fit of the custom kit was bang on, I paid more than inv***frame as the ride wrap comes with the cleaning wipes and solution 👌🏻
Yup, do mine when new. with some of the crazy paint finishes around today for me its a must, you'll get your money back on the kit when selling in my opinion. I normally do it over a couple of days as to get the best results you have to take your time.

I am a fitter and i will recommend you to add more concentrate solution. I am adding 0,8ml to 1l. Works really well. There you can see that foil is too sticky, but he has a mad skill so for beginners definitelly more solution. :)
Glad you did this rob, I did my 21 rail a year ago and although happy with it, I now know why I struggled, it is essential to rap your brand new bike before use. The guy was super professional by the way, great derailed descriptions.
I'm doing this to my new Reign E2 on Sunday or Monday. Then I'll take her out! Great video good to see it being repositioned as I can see myself having to do that.
I'm lucky to have a RideWrap location in my town (Golden, CO). My recommendation for a professional install...take it to RideWrap and pay the $150 to have them do it
Every time but the bikes are getting more complicated and putting the kits on more laborious. We nearly always need to remove swing arms, pretty much everything, even then won’t get every bit perfect. We also use a big bowl, that we dip the film and our hands in. Tight bits sometimes needs holding in place, think the hand heat helps here. Sometimes satisfying, other times down right annoying! Good luck…
My new 160E is just a beauty, and (full disclosure) it’s part of why I bought the damn thing! So RW is going on! Thanks so much for this great video. Much better than the RW install videos, I think. How long was the install (not the cut version)?
I’ve just seen your video excellent my bike is a kingdom vendetta x3 trouble is I haven’t got a clue plus I haven’t got the patience to add this to my bike is there any where that could put this on for us in the uk or can ridewrap do this for us.
Wrapped my new bike with this stuff last year. Extreme patience required but follow the instructions and take your time. Great product!

Agree! Have done all my personal bikes, keeps them in near perfect condition

Brandon made it look easy, and the end result looks primo ...I've already wrapped my bike but I've learned a few tips for next time 👍🤟

I’ve wrapped 2 bikes and getting ready to do a third. This is the best video I’ve seen, I wish I’d found it sooner!

@Rubinstein Kleer you never get your money back out of a bike when u go to sell... Hands down one of the biggest depreciating assets ..lol

Was kinda waiting for a nice discount code at the end of the vid Rob c'mon dude! 😂😂

Brilliant - I was going to pay to have my new bike done for me but now I'm thinking I'll have a go myself - thanks for the very informative video

Yep mines been wrapped since new and still looks great !
Fantastic video, long overdue I think and really helpful to watch.
I've ridewrapped my last three Santa cruzs. Well worth it. Also get easier every time👍🏻👍🏻
Before they started talking I thought Rob was interviewing himself 😂
This video is so helpful, I’m wrapping my propain tyee 6 tomorrow
How did it go
Man with some of the prices of these eMTBs they shud have these wrapped when you buy them lol I dont have the patience so I use Dyedbro.
Is Brandon an Aussie?
Very interesting video but like any endeavor the experts make it look so easy.
But as a educational tutorial excellent.
Actually what is interesting is the detail on the exact difference between the Ridewrap material and Invis
Great video, I have the Orbea vibrant red colour which needs protecting. I will buy this ride wrap one now I have seen it. Thanks

How long do you wait for the alcohol wipe to dry before applying the wrap?
Super helpful!!!

If your bike is a combo of Matt and Gloss which version of the wrap should be used so that the stock paint expression is maintained?
Did mine last week, where was this video then 😭
Do you bother with protecting your frame?
Honestly….no….for me a mtb is something that I don’t want to protect from mother nature ;-)

Love the way he bravely pulls it back off to re-apply, we’ve found this can end badly …

Spending $10k , you bet!
Question, what would be the beat way to do the install, without a bike stand??
Should I be wrapping my Fork too or would it damage the stickers that are on it?
Can you still use a pressure washer to clean your bike after installing the kit?
It helps if a professional fits it 😂 I fitted mine and didn’t discover a couple of bubbles until next day
Wouldn't latex gloves be good so you dont get skin oils on the backside?
Still unsure why the battery cover paint scheme doesn't match with the rest of the frame?
Agreed! Trek have done it for a while
Will it protect the expensive bike in a possible CRASH?
Will decals stick on the gloss wrap?
but do you need to give it a spray? :D

What front mudguard does the trek have?
That's Fox forks and there new mudguard for the 22/23 forks I think.
a carbon frame should probably not be dried with a heat gun?
Steel we what to know what is the worst band? 🤔 🤭 😅
Want this for my turbo levo
And how about s discount Code😜
This seems painfully stressful to do
Any trek EMTB for sell or gift?
Dream bicycle
Sous titre french please!
So you clean the muck of the film and not the bike, so what’s the point.
Salespeople are so cringe 😂
BEWARE! Rips off paint!
When I removed it from my girlfriends bike, it ripped off paint and graphics on a Pivot carbon frame.
You had no idea what you were doing and blamed the film so your girlfriend would not find out you are an idiot. Haha. Nice job!
Stuff is insanely overpriced! Hello markup! Something that costs less than $5 to make, they charge hundreds of dollars to the buyer. What a shame
Why are you here?
Kinda a waste of time and money…its a mountain bike. Treat it as such. Ive done it to one bike and swore never to do it again
An Mountain bike is not cheap. You should take care of it. And if you want to sell it, it looks soooo much better.
£110 for a trek Roscoe 😂
Looks tedious but you’re rewarded with patience. My problem is I don’t have a bike stand.
