i'm gonna say BoJack Horseman, season 1, "The Telescope." when Herb refuses to forgive BoJack. for the first half of season 1 it seemed like this was gonna be a mere retread of other adult cartoon sitcoms with a misanthropic main character. but this was the moment where it became clear that this was gonna be different. this show would be dealing fully with the consequences of his actions. the rest is history. greatest adult cartoon ever made.
Jennifer Aniston ( Rachel ) and Matt Leblanc ( Joey ) hated it what the creators did to their characters , they shouldn't have done their characters as a couple , but the season and also the series were saved
How is season 2 of Parks and Rec not on here? Even the cast and creators say the first season is awful and they almost got canceled until the second season premier aired.
I’m not the biggest fan of Brian from Family Guy but I’ll admit killing him off permanently would have destroyed the show entirely! Vinny was not a suitable replacement! I’m glad they quickly reversed that disastrous decision.
I’ll say another moment that wasn’t on the list; The WHOLE Season from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Season 1 had almost made this the worst show of the Arrowverse but Season 2 had gotten rid of problematic characters and added new ones especially with villains from other shows such as Reverse Flash, Damien Dahrk, Malcom Merlyn and Black Flash. It may have ended on a cliffhanger but at least we had some seasons to love before it ended
The Walking Dead not killing Shane early like they did in the comics saved the show. Shane's character was one of the most interesting during a season 2 that a lotta people at the time considered kinda slow paced.
Adding Dinn Djarin and Grokku in a series that was meant for Boba Fett was questionable. It would have made better sense if these events occurred within The Mandolorian series, but this is just a sloppy attempt to bait fans into another series.
It was frosting on a crap cake. Too much was put upon Boba to carry it all, if I were to tweak it even slightly, I would have expanded the importance and plot of the characters living in most eisly. Effectively turning it closer to something like Boardwalk Empire.
@@johnsayles8032 How is Book of Boba Fett (particularly the second half) closer to anything like Boardwalk Empire? What would have been so bad about Boba Fett carrying the whole show if it was supposed his own show?
Three things in the case of Cheers. 1. Brandon Tartikoff, then the head of NBC programming, saw something in the show that America initially didn't (it finished its first week on the air dead-last in ratings) 2. Sam and Diane officially become an item 3. Enter Dr. Frasier Crane
"We like Christopher Eccleston, but for our money, the revival started with the Tenth Doctor." THIS ONE HURTS. Okay, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'M FINE. I'll just be in the corner, rocking, and staring into space muttering "Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!" to myself over and over again. P.S. It is a good example of how the show could continue and thrive without him though.
I was a fan of classic Who as a kid. I was in my 30's when NuWho started, and Christopher Eccleston was absolutely perfect! Or, I guess I should say, fantastic. 🥰
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation... It was extremely dulled by Grissom's departure halfway through season 9, and his replacement Langston was not well received at all. A lot of us didn't like the next couple of seasons. Bring in Ted Danson's DB Russell at the start of Season 12, who is quirky like Grissom and brought the show back to where it was around Season 7. I thought it was going to be canceled sooner that it was due to its not so great and over the top stuff like Langston knowing more about forensics than Willows (SERIOUSLY??) among other things (the amount of times there was a conflict of interest for Langston and he was still allowed on the case was unreal!), but bringing in Ted Danson seemed to save it for a few more seasons, or it did for me. It lasted 15 seasons in total, with a finale classed as its "Sixteen Season" by some.
one show that had a profound affect on me was Happy Days. I'm 53 and do this day i often refer to females as "chicks". Not in a disrespectful or derogatory way although I'm sure some fem a nazirs might see that differently. To my understanding. Aruthur Fonzerelly AKA The Fonz with catchphrases such as "sit on it" and "AYYYY! with his thumbs up signature expression showed up like maybe four episodes after the show debuted. I totally believe that he single handedly saved an otherwise doomed tv show. I believe that he had earned respect and although an obvious womanizer he basically demonstrated loyalty braveness positive work ethics. About the "chicks" comment...I believe that his influence using that word somehow made it acceptable and never seems to offend anyone when i use it to describe a female whose name is not readily known. did i get any of this correct?
was this video supposed to be released on the 1st? because bringing mando in destroyed not only book of boba by changing the focus from him ( the tusken part at the start was the best part of the series for me but i admit there was a lot of shit like dont get me eve started about the bikes.. but it certainly did not help to dedicate 2 entire episodes to a different show) but also the heartfelt goodbye of the mando s2 finale by bringing them back together so soon
Breaking Bad was always the GOAT. It never wavered. I will say that season 9-11 of The Walking Dead were a huge improvement over 7-8. Dexter New Blood made up for that horrid final season.
What comes to my mind is “Paintball” on “Community.” I wrote off that show as uninteresting with unpleasant characters, but seeing that episode blew me away.
No disrespect to season 4 of Fargo. It was intriguing to see the show step out of its mid 20th century to 21st century shell with an opening that the Yakuza game series would be very proud of. Also Brian’s death was beyond pointless when people watch him further devolve into a bigger dirtbag than beforehand.
I feel like I’m in the minority when I voice my praise for the last three episodes of _The Book of Boba Fett._ I don’t know why, but it was a breath of fresh air.
Nahhh the disrespect for Eccleston in the Dr. Who honorable mention is unbelievable. The regeneration didn't save the show because it didn't even need to be saved at that moment.
I tried watching seinfeld but the first season wasnt that good so i had it on for background noise untill about season 6 then i started watching it and i loved it so much seinfeld got so much better as it went on
That episode of season 2 of Stranger Things ruined everything for me and I still angry if I think about it 😤. This was the first episode that completely focused on Eleven and had turned into this. That the already cool girl from season 1 briefly turned into a gang member give me 🥶😡. I had already a bad feeling in the first scene in the first episode. So yes the decision to bring her back to her friends is for me one of best decisions in TV-history. But please Duffer Brothers don’t bring the gang back in S5. Millie you are my favorite actress, but why did you accept that storyline ❓❓❓. I feel bad for the female director that only directed that episode.
Are you insane?? FARGO fans losing interest in S.4?? I’ve got news for you, pally.…Fargo fans are some of the most devoted fanatics in streaming series world. Wake up!!
Mando on Boba Fett was good!? Really!? Book of Boba Fett is a "must watch" show now!? If the show needs to be hijacked to be good, it means that show sucks! Go home Watchmojo, you're drunk as hell
I'm of the opinion that having to bring Mando back in for the book of Boba Fett was kinda sad. They did a poor job of doing something cool with Fett that they had to save it with their original character instead of taking inspiration from any of the Legends stuff out there. But that's my 2 cents on it.
Cause the show was literally a diet Cosby show. Why go for that when you could watch the OG? (Keep in mind the lack thereof of controversy at the time then vs now). Steve Urkel injected a character so outlandish and against the grain that it created a new identity for the show.
@@CTladiesman if you want to sure, but the point still stands that if there's a show that did the 80s-90s family dynamic better it was still on air at the time. Family Matters needed Urkel to stand out, otherwise there's almost nothing else that it had without him to make it unique enough to warrant interest.
What Disney did to my favorite character from the original trilogy is unforgivable. The most BA and known bounty hunter in the galaxy is 1. Not known by anyone (even in within his profession), and 2. A bumbling idiot. Imagine Lebron James walking into an NBA locker room and nobody knows who he is?! He says I’m Lebron James, and all the basketball players are like who?
The return of Misty and Brock is one for me. I wasn’t a fan of the direction Pokemon: The Series was going in with Season 20, Sun and Moon. (especially after the amazing 19th season, XYZ, even if it ended with the spectacular crash that put a massive storm cloud over the following season.) But the final 2 episodes saved not only the season, but the rest of the SM arc as well as the quality increased by a lot for Seasons 21 and 22.
isn't it kind of...ironic that eleven reuniting with the rest is considered a great moment after a dull story arch, and then the remaining seasons just continued to split up the cast all over again
The iasip omission on the main list is criminal. Literally one of the greatest and longest running sitcoms (non-animated) ever and the only reason they got a 2nd season was because they casted Danny. That alone is amazing but, the fact he became such a perfect character on the show just puts it over the top.

I would love a Cheers episode inside a Frasier!
Seinfeld has said the show was about how a comic gets their material.
Sorry
@joshuasteward6097 The original Frasier did have a Cheers reunion episode circa 2002 titled "Cheerful Goodbyes" complete with an appearance by "Norm!"
Another one:
- The Dundies (The Office)
This episode helped differentiate the US Office from the UK one and helped it continue on
