THANK YOU!!!!!! I needed this tutorial for my 59-yr-old skin so badly! Now I'll rock a naturally enhanced look thanks for you!! That wink gets me every time too!
You’re a clever bunny!, This look is just BRILLIANT! I’m feeling low due to my dear Mum (health issues ); focussing on this for a bit will provide fun . Thank you xx❤
Wow! I literally just searched contouring and concealing for over 50 Wayne Goss and you’d just uploaded this an hour ago! Thanks so much! I love you😊 your tips are so easy to implement!🥰
Simply perfection with his ability to help those of us with mature skin!!! Can’t wait to add this technique with his latest concealer hack too. Well done Wayne!!! Oh, and I love, love, love your brushes are well too!!!!
LOVE favorite!!! It looks like a night out and absolutely I try everything you do. Im 59 and I adore the fact that you cover our age group thank you for acknowledging us ❤❤ we are not invisible
I'd love to see a video on how to do this for people who dont wear foundation or skin tint etc. I feel like most makeup artists only make videos for people who wear a full face of foundation. I can't be the only person who doesn't wear it.
I'm always fascinated by your skills and techniques, as well as the final results. It's actually your blush technique in this video that I absolutely love. That subtle, healthy glow is such a refreshing (and dare I say, necessary) change from the overly blushed looks that are currently trending. Thank you for helping us just look like prettier versions of ourselves instead of walking ads for the cosmetics industry.
I am using your “foundation in your palm” application method from previous video and it really works for getting a beautiful sheer application. Will try the contour method next. Big thank you for concise instructions.
Wayne! I just googled bronzer vs contour and was almost this close to consider if i need to purchase these products. So glad this came up so on time! Thanks for posting this 14 hours ago. Truly god send timing❤😂🎉
Nice, now this tip I do like. I am turning 61 towards the end of September, and I have always taken the best care of my skin, and it's holding up pretty well ( fingers crossed and everything else I can cross) so thank you 😊
I am excited hope I can master this lol. Have very limited talent on my end lol. Take care and stay safe. Hope you’re having lots of good days.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Hello to your husband!
Thank you for making makeup accessible for us older folks. Back in high school (80s), I ended up working backstage at fashion show held by a cosmetics company. I watched the founder smile and greet her fawning fans then turn around and drip disdain for them including nasty ageist comments (she was FAR from young). That, and working in Silicon Valley when social media was birthed, I was fine ignoring the whole mess. Omg… and being 40 when Project Runway debuted and anything reading older meant mature meant matronly meant ugly meant “Guess I don’t count in this sphere anymore!” So, when wanting to get back into makeup and discovered your stuff it was amazing breath of fresh air! Although, I had to laugh because one of first vids of yours I watched pretty much said to do back what I did in high school. And that video was “correct” in saying was probably not for 16 year olds, but at the time being assumed to be in my 20s was more fun than I should admit.
Probably a stupid question but it does matter what undertone the concealer is? Will warm or cool or something in between be a better brightener? Excellent video that is always truly appreciated. Thank you, Shannon
Superb! As always! It would never turn out this good for me and it would take me 4 times as long. I reply on tinted SPF for my foundation and then my natural redness and color shows though and that's my color 😂 I need to up my game.
Hi Wayne Goss, Thank U 4 THIS! May I ask please 🙏...4 someone w/ a 👃 non symmetrical nose (the natural highlight leans crooked down the middle)...would U suggest doing a concealer in the manner u showed in THIS video or a specific brand 4 dry, 40 yr old mature, acne prone skin?? Also, Does the invisible line rule apply 4 over-painting w/ THIS lovely technique bc I really enjoy it & learned it from U (Thank U)? Or is the invisible line technique just to lift cheeks? I ADORE Ur videos, it's ur inner beauty that radiates & u happen 2 come in an absolutely beautiful outer shell with gorgeous skin!! WOW! I ALWAYS learn something new from ALL of your videos! Thank U! Thank U 4 showing me how 2 stipple upwards w/ nose stippling like THIS, today! Thank You 4 ALL u create & being your lovely self! 🌹 💗 -Abra
I'm 33 so I know I'm not "mature" yet but I definitely cannot contour and highlight like I did when I was 25 as it just makes me look older. Definitely going to try some of these tips!😊
@@kirsty2861 Thank you for this! It kind of gets old when I go to read something about mature skin…. And it’s talking about folks in their 30s! I have kids in their 30s ffs.
Thoughts about how dark the contour colour should be relative to your skin tone? Should the contour along the sides of the nose go from the ends of the eyebrows to the top part of the nostrils? Sorry, just wanted to get the finer points down. What about the jawline area? I used to have a pretty defined jawline but of course have lost that, and would like to draw attention away from the softness there with some soft contouring……?
I’ll be 62 soon and do not wear foundation due to having it show too much wrinkles. I only use BB cream or tinted moisturizer. I’ll have to try this. Thank you 💓
My 45 year old skin is getting itchy and spotty just watching this. I’d love to know how to do a natural light application like this without my face being caked in products.
I lost track of time one day and accidentally left the house after highlighting and contouring my skin (and blending, blending, blending) without adding any foundation. Picked up a friend for lunch and she told me how beautiful my skin looked. 😲 The trick really is to use a cream contour/concealer.
I agree I dont think contouring is that good and the to put foundation on top of it all really? I have seen younger faces after this technique and the skin starts looking dirty tbh
Absolutely! There is no way to compare the skin firmness of a 50 year old man to a 50 year old woman! Women lose collagen in the face so much faster than men. Also, the beard and mustache hide the sageness of the lines around the mouth.
Ali Andreea says contouring the cheek bones is not good for mature skin, because it makes the look of the face much more harsher. And she is MUA too. Now I am unsecured.
Darlin", your face looks just as perfect "before" and "after" your contouring. Please use an old lady like me (70) so we can really see what the contouring does! Also, do you have any recommendations as to what we can do to soften that horrible deep line between the eyebrows? My doesn't look bad in photographs, but it's right there in the real world and it drives me crazy. No Botox for me, God gave me this face and I'm leaving with it exactly like God made it! Thank you, you're very charming, I enjoyed your video.
For most mature women: contouring is not a major concern as one's face--male and female--naturally tends to thin out with age. Apart from cosmetic surgery: I am more concerned with how to make my face appear more full rather than contouring or even using bronzers. Thanks all the same.
I saw a beautiful woman with a micro forehead (I’m jealous of) who was adding contour to it. I was so sad. Folks just copy instead of actually looking at their own face shape 😮
I appreciate that you get down to business! Less talk more action for those that don’t have time to watch a 20+ min video
I had LOTS of doubt about this contouring.
Cannot believe how my 79 yr old face looks!!!!
Whoah!!
Thank you, Wayne!
I hope it works on my 72 year old face!😀
THANK YOU!!!!!! I needed this tutorial for my 59-yr-old skin so badly! Now I'll rock a naturally enhanced look thanks for you!! That wink gets me every time too!
I need this, too. I botch contour every time. I love your natural look techniques. ❤
But all my texture would show even more 😂!
Wow !! Very innovative idea, genius !!! .. the best of the best… Thank you ❤
Fab demo from a master ❤ gorgeous xx that wink gets me every time!!
It's fabulous Wayne. I've already tried it and I must say it's the best contouring job I've ever done. Thank you.
That sponge-in-a-tissue trick is brilliant! Thank you!
This is exactly what I needed! Sometimes I just want a simple healthy glow and this will do the trick. Bless you, Wayne!
Simply perfection with his ability to help those of us with mature skin!!! Can’t wait to add this technique with his latest concealer hack too. Well done Wayne!!! Oh, and I love, love, love your brushes are well too!!!!
I love watching you Wayne and your black background with colorful flowers is so inviting!
Can’t wait to try this! I would love a tutorial on how to do this with powder products as well.
Wayne!
You are the best makeup artist & you are so kind to share your knowledge! Thank you
LOVE favorite!!! It looks like a night out and absolutely I try everything you do. Im 59 and I adore the fact that you cover our age group thank you for acknowledging us ❤❤ we are not invisible
Hello my friend Wayne, bravo 👏🏽 . What a wonderful tutorial. Thank you so much. Cheers 😉👏🏽
Thanks Wayne as always for your fantastic tips ❤

My favorite tutorial of the year. You are so relatable and we all absolutely adore you 🎉❤🎉😊

I’ve watched Wayne for a long time. So glad he’s stayed true to instructional videos and not always pushing products for us to purchase 🩷
I used this technique with amazing results! Ty Wayne🥰
Thank you for this very interesting tutorial! I have to give it a try and see the results.
Wow! This is clean, quick and fabulous!! ❤
Shouldn't we contour the jaw and jowls as that is most problematic with maturing?
Great video. Thank you for doing videos for us ladies with mature skin, much appreciated. Very helpful. Have a great week.
Your flowers are absolutely beautiful ❤
I am using your “foundation in your palm” application method from previous video and it really works for getting a beautiful sheer application. Will try the contour method next. Big thank you for concise instructions.
Looks amazing 👏
Love you Wayne! I've been following you for YEARS! Thank you for helping me while I age..60 years old. You are such a blessing♥
OMG genius!!! I just watched magic! Literally going to be trying this today. Thank you Wayne xx ❤
Wayne! I just googled bronzer vs contour and was almost this close to consider if i need to purchase these products. So glad this came up so on time! Thanks for posting this 14 hours ago. Truly god send timing❤😂🎉

Awesome! Thank you for this master class on subtle techniques to create a dimensional look.
Nice, now this tip I do like.
I am turning 61 towards the end of September, and I have always taken the best care of my skin, and it's holding up pretty well ( fingers crossed and everything else I can cross) so thank you 😊
Oh my goodness! I absolutely loved this video and needed this tutorial. It seems most contouring videos are for younger women. Thank you! Thank you!!
I am excited hope I can master this lol. Have very limited talent on my end lol. Take care and stay safe. Hope you’re having lots of good days.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Hello to your husband!
Gorgeous understated look

Haha same. Sounds like we’re close to the same age.
Thank you
Amazing work ❤ Thank you for sharing
Probably a stupid question but it does matter what undertone the concealer is? Will warm or cool or something in between be a better brightener?
Excellent video that is always truly appreciated. Thank you, Shannon
Loved the video! ❤️
Excellent tutorial.
I’m nervous to do this but will give it ago, with my make up out, mirror set up and you playing on my iPad so I get it right.
Love to watch your videos! A question…you are using a warm tone for contouring a that make me confused…isn’t the couture supposed to be cooler????? 😮💕
What is the cream palette??? This is a fantastic tutorial
Wayne can u recc a good highlight & contour that’s pigmented enough? Great vid❤
This is lovely! Thank you 😊
FABULOUS!
Superb! As always! It would never turn out this good for me and it would take me 4 times as long.

Hello from Greece..after this way can i use powder contour and.bronzer?
Love it…although I never manage to put the foundation on top of countour😅
My 45 year old skin is getting itchy and spotty just watching this. I’d love to know how to do a natural light application like this without my face being caked in products.
Pretty!!!!
Cool 😎
Very good lifehuck for 35+😮 thank you Wayne))👍
You are The Best ❤❤❤😂

wouldn't the contour coming down that far age your face? Ive tried this look and it hollowed out my cheeks and made me look a bit gaunt and older
It does for me too. I think it depends on bone structure. I can't do contour anymore.
Every face is different, he has mentioned previously that dragging the countour down gives a more masculine look. So, just adapt it for you❤
Yes it does, also give you more masculine look.
I agree I dont think contouring is that good and the to put foundation on top of it all really? I have seen younger faces after this technique and the skin starts looking dirty tbh
🤩🤩
Wayne do you still take clients?
This would have been better on an actual mature women who has wrinkles.
Absolutely! There is no way to compare the skin firmness of a 50 year old man to a 50 year old woman! Women lose collagen in the face so much faster than men. Also, the beard and mustache hide the sageness of the lines around the mouth.
When are your foundation colours be restocked?❤
💕❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What happens when you’re Casper the ghost and already wear the lightest concealer shade? Never quite sure what to do for a highlighter…
i don't know if i'm dreaming, but i see a different thumbnail depending on which account i'm using.
❤

What? Highlighting that doesn't make me look like a disco ball? Lol! Thanks for making us look natural and not like a tik tok trend!

I saw a beautiful woman with a micro forehead (I’m jealous of) who was adding contour to it. I was so sad. Folks just copy instead of actually looking at their own face shape 😮
In aged skin don’t use powder never ever
