If I wanted to play spleef, I would load up the legacy console edition and play tumble there. It is more fun, nostalgic and has more players playing than everyone playing on the server
The most hilarious part is Bedrock has miles more freedom than Java (mainly models and endorsement via Mojang itself), and yet Hypixel literally made an entire dungeon crawler, procedurally generated game in 1.8 vanilla.
the 2 actual gamemodes they have that arent pay to play can be made in a singelplayer world. they didn't even try to make it have any decent gamemodes. the ones you pay for arent even good
I can confirm they can be made in a single player world in less than an hour. Made spleef and tnt run a few months ago using command blocks to play with my friends
It seems they literally used command blocks to execute the gamemodes and there's like only 1000 servers for one region and it's so laggy. They just made this for profit, as it seems for now.
I was able to make tnt run and spleef perfectly fine in my own world taking maybe 30 minutes each, and when I compared the pixel paradise vs mine my worked better and didn’t lag lol

It is obviously a cash grab, and honestly, it’s going to die within a month. I do think that the devs did do what they were supposed to do, which is what you said on your stream. I literally convinced one of my friends that the spleef that I made was downloaded off of the marketplace. And I think with the help of 2 of my irl friends, we could make a better pixel paradise. It wouldn’t be as laggy. One of my friends is extremely good at building, the other one is extremely good at command blocks, and I’m pretty decent at coding outside of minecraft, which can be put into minecraft. There are so many other servers that are more deserving, and I would rather play lifeboat.

Volcano is literally prison but in a volcano. It says it has 9 mines but only 3 have been implemented so far. Also only 4 of the 15 relics have been implemented. So not only are you paying for trash, you're also paying for incomplete trash. Even lifeboat's prison gamemode is less P2P than this and that's sad. Islands is obviously skyblock as you said... But its also sort of like hypixel's skyblock mode with the minions concept. Except you have to pay real money to get these (something that hypixel doesn't force you to do). Hypixel doesn't force you to pay for anything actually, its actually pretty ironic, back when Mojang enforced their EULA in java edition, they actually caused servers to drop the pay to win features but when Microsoft bought Mojang, bedrock edition only received gigantic amounts of microtransactions rather than fair treatment. And yeah, you're right. TNT run and Spleef are some of the simplest games to code. In fact here's how simple the gameplay is: All spleef requires is the map generation and code to check if someone fell in lava or broke a block and to progress between snow and concrete blocks. The snow balls and snow breaking mechanics are already in minecraft. The reason we check for broken blocks is to transfer the items directly into players' inventories rather than drop them and even then, this might already be included in bedrock edition itself. When someone falls in lava, they lose. I'd estimate that this would take 200 lines of code for a competent dev to make the simple parts of the game work, the map generation and server creation are of course a lot more complicated, however its not like InPvp hasn't already created this technology. Code is reusable, if you already have something that works, YOU DON'T MAKE IT AGAIN. For TNT Run the simplicity is roughly the same. Log every block the player is standing on and detect if they change position, remove the previous block. Detect if they fall in lava. Again, I'd say this doesn't take much effort to make at all.
Honestly. I dont like talking bad. But they should sell Minecraft to someone else. That will care about the game. Personally if it was me id just get a major bug fix update. Quality > Features
Hello. I wanted to just put this out there. As a female Minecraft player, I am not attracted to playing on Pixel Paradise whatsoever. I'm aware that the "female demographic" doesn't apply to me but here's the thing. Minecraft is a sandbox game with so many different types of players, no matter their gender. I for one, am a die heart Skywars and Bedwars player, whilst one of my friends is a creative builder, and another is a roleplayer. Trying to aim for a female demographic doesn't help the server out whatsoever, because not every single female that plays Minecraft enjoys roleplaying and games that could easily be created on a world with command blocks. I have a bunch of female friends who play Minecraft, and from what I see Pixel Paradise's games don't apply to any of them, but yet we're the target demographic? I saw someone do an interview (I think it was DieciesYT but I'm unsure) with a dev at Pixel Paradise, and they said that they "had focus groups and girl gamers come in to see what people want" and unless they hand picked a very specific type of player for said focus groups, I'm sure people didn't want these cheap game modes as well as in-game purchase after in-game purchase. No hate to Pixel Paradise though.
Yeah for me just add SG, Skywars, and a version of Bedwars and I would give it a chance. It’d probably still suck but at least it would give me a reason to try the server.

Lol this video is so accurate and good, I’ve been waiting a while for a featured server to come out and it was a straight up a disappointment, I hope to see It get better in the future, but my hopes aren’t to high.
The one thing I like about pixel parodies is that they include the easy to code games that many servers overlook, and me just seeing hypixel growing up, I’ve alwayed waited to play, the spleef and tnt run are simple but there a easy time killer, and very little servers don’t include because they know not many of hyperland type players want to play spleef. I do wish they serf over to at least a party games server, the closest thing that we have as bedrock players are the mineplex mine games (or whatever they are called)

Java player here Bedrock is cool,but I don't know what the best server software is and i'd say bedrock is better,at least from what I see you could practically recreate modded minecraft using plugins(al tho I still will stay on java for some time) But yeah I like making plugins so what's the best server software :P

My friend joined the server and he said it sucked then I thought he likes pvp and there is probably not pvp in it. So I went on it thinking maybe they creators of mineville could actually make a good server. But when I joined I realised what he meant.

Mhm, I don't think they have it anymore. Honestly Pixel Paradise has so much potential, but it is really pay to play as if you didn't already pay enough to be able to play Minecraft at all.
The only positive aspect of Pixel Paradise that I would like to see more of in the future is that there are “find xyz” /treasure hunter style quests. (To begin the first quest, talk to the coconut person hiding on the boat at spawn)
Sucks that Mojang is becoming more and more like EA with each passing day. Im 100% sure Mojang genuinely cares for there community of players but stuff like this shouldnt be happening when they know a vast majority of there audience is young children.
Spleef is a good idea, but why make a new server that is pay to play? Just add spleef to another server, like Cubecraft or the Hive. And why, target small children for stuff like Pixel Paradise? They will regret it later on, and it will just have wasted their time and money. It is really sad if you think about it. All those small children spending money on stuff that is useless. It makes me cry. Really. It really is so sad.
What’s sadder is that all of the games on the server exist on other servers already, and are much better. Mineville even has Prisons, so they’re charging for the same game twice.
It looked nice when I played it, but I wish there was a java version so I can bypass the paywalls like I did with Mineville. Also, the Volcano mode is fun, I like it since iy's different from the other prison type modes from different servers.
I was honestly excited to see the number "7" in the server tab a few weeks ago, and it was cool to know that Microsoft and MJS were willing to add more servers to the base game without having to purchase the expanded version to play on custom IPs (this being the desktop and mobile versions of the game, which are basically the same thing in terms of sofware structure) I was kinda disappointed to see the server turn out as it did after I joined it for the first (and currently only) time, with all the stuff being locked behind a paywall LARGER THAN MINECRAFT ITSELF But hey, who knows? Maybe in the future they'll rise further upward like Galaxite did after a few months :)
One problem with both tnt run and spleef is the lack of a lobby, and that games start immediately. some mobile players spend longer amounts of time on loading screens due to the power of their devices, which can kill mobile players before they even load into the game. This actually happened to me on spleef when trying it out, i couldnt even play.

Here's another thing you should keep in mind about this that Pixel Paradise's release was planned quite before the Sonic event on The Hive. This was (probably) done to bring a hype for a new featured server and eventually it will effect The Hive's playerbase during the event. Great marketing, InPVP!
I just don’t understand why they don’t allow bedrock to have access to the kinds of servers that the other platforms of Minecraft have, they at least they have the ability to search up and play on a new server, while bedrock is stuck, with a handful of servers, and many of them you need money, one of the only good servers is the hive, because you actually don’t need a membership pass or anything to play the games, it’s just a side thing you can buy to gain extra rewards when you “level”, and that’s fine by me, cause I don’t really bother with that stuff anyway.

I played tnt run once and then got temp banned for a day for fly hacking after I selected slime kit and used the jump boost

The "Volcano" game mode is literally a copy of several Roblox minigames. You go mine, buy a backpack, buy a pickaxe and repeat (but its free).
I guarantee you next time a Java UA-camr reviews bedrock servers this will be the server that they pick, and they’ll say “omG bEdrOcK seRVeRs SUCK”

Bedrock is cool,but I don't know what the best server software is and i'd say bedrock is better,at least from what I see you could practically recreate modded minecraft using plugins(al tho I still will stay on java for some time)
But yeah I like making plugins so what's the best server software :P

My friend joined the server and he said it sucked then I thought he likes pvp and there is probably not pvp in it. So I went on it thinking maybe they creators of mineville could actually make a good server. But when I joined I realised what he meant.
Remember Minecraft Eula does not allow p2w server? That didn’t age well...
God tier explanations here. Yes the server is pretty trash at the moment, but I'm still hoping it gets better. So far, I'm not satisfied. Hoping things end up improving as there is always room for improvement in anything. Great explanation video here Potato

yeah, i never want to see another inpvp server again, mostly because mc updates are yearly and getting a trash server means you have to wait another year hoping for a good server
I think I can now see why Mojang changed their EULA to allow P2W microtransactions as long as the server isn't "competitive" which is very vague.

This server is literally the definition of a cash grab.
The worst part is that it looks like they took their prison and skyblock modes from InPVP, and decided to change their names and sell them again. These people really have no boundaries for what they'll do for money...
The launch is the most important thing for a server. Now they will always have that bad connotation on them and judging by Minneville, they will never recover from it. Good video

I'll never play Bedrock featured servers. They're half-baked, money grabbing, and don't have an actual community behind them.

Mhm, I don't think they have it anymore. Honestly Pixel Paradise has so much potential, but it is really pay to play as if you didn't already pay enough to be able to play Minecraft at all.
Worst thing is that they forgot to turn off the @e perms on discord. It always shows a server with leadership having no thought to player experience.
The only positive aspect of Pixel Paradise that I would like to see more of in the future is that there are “find xyz” /treasure hunter style quests. (To begin the first quest, talk to the coconut person hiding on the boat at spawn)
Sucks that Mojang is becoming more and more like EA with each passing day. Im 100% sure Mojang genuinely cares for there community of players but stuff like this shouldnt be happening when they know a vast majority of there audience is young children.
Spleef is a good idea, but why make a new server that is pay to play? Just add spleef to another server, like Cubecraft or the Hive. And why, target small children for stuff like Pixel Paradise? They will regret it later on, and it will just have wasted their time and money. It is really sad if you think about it. All those small children spending money on stuff that is useless. It makes me cry. Really. It really is so sad.
What’s sadder is that all of the games on the server exist on other servers already, and are much better. Mineville even has Prisons, so they’re charging for the same game twice.

It looked nice when I played it, but I wish there was a java version so I can bypass the paywalls like I did with Mineville. Also, the Volcano mode is fun, I like it since iy's different from the other prison type modes from different servers.

I could make sky wars with command blocks and this server only created games that anyone can create on a single player world.
I was honestly excited to see the number "7" in the server tab a few weeks ago, and it was cool to know that Microsoft and MJS were willing to add more servers to the base game without having to purchase the expanded version to play on custom IPs (this being the desktop and mobile versions of the game, which are basically the same thing in terms of sofware structure)
I was kinda disappointed to see the server turn out as it did after I joined it for the first (and currently only) time, with all the stuff being locked behind a paywall LARGER THAN MINECRAFT ITSELF
But hey, who knows? Maybe in the future they'll rise further upward like Galaxite did after a few months :)

One problem with both tnt run and spleef is the lack of a lobby, and that games start immediately. some mobile players spend longer amounts of time on loading screens due to the power of their devices, which can kill mobile players before they even load into the game. This actually happened to me on spleef when trying it out, i couldnt even play.

Here's another thing you should keep in mind about this that Pixel Paradise's release was planned quite before the Sonic event on The Hive.
This was (probably) done to bring a hype for a new featured server and eventually it will effect The Hive's playerbase during the event.

I just don’t understand why they don’t allow bedrock to have access to the kinds of servers that the other platforms of Minecraft have, they at least they have the ability to search up and play on a new server, while bedrock is stuck, with a handful of servers, and many of them you need money, one of the only good servers is the hive, because you actually don’t need a membership pass or anything to play the games, it’s just a side thing you can buy to gain extra rewards when you “level”, and that’s fine by me, cause I don’t really bother with that stuff anyway.
I think Microsoft owes inpvp money because Microsoft isn’t dumb they would easily see that it’s an easy cash grab
