Thank you so much brother, I am born and brought up in India but because of my studies I live in Canada and here many christians do drink wine but they say “drinking wine is not bad but don’t drink in excess so that you loose your mind” and I was very much confused because of their this belief and you just cleared my doubt.
well in a way they are not wrong since Bible speaks about being drunkard is a sin not drinking wine is sin. Timothy didn't drank wine so Paul called him out to drink wine because he was suffering from a sickness. So even now in some medical conditions patient are prescribed a percentage of alcohol to release pain. Even in some medications there is sedation or alcohol added to it. """Don't drink too much wine and get drunk; don't eat too much food and get fat. "(proverbs 23:20)

Read the above verses don't rely on others. Scripture clearly states that drinking too much wine is sin not that drinking wine is sin. Being drunkard is a sin not drinking a sin. There is a difference.

Na ki Daak madhira ko.
Madhira - Alcoholic hoti hai.
Daakras - Non Alcoholic hoti hai. Grape Juice hota hai.
Aur Sharab nahi peene chahiye.
Yeh bhi sin hoti hai.
