It's true. I have a family member whos my yarn dealer (I'm from Canada 😂) that asked at Joanns and they stated its too expensive to manufacture, so they will be discontinuing it. But say they will be bringing out a new one.

I am doing Drake and had problems with the pattern. Row 22 said crochet 24sc and 1 decrease 6 times plus 24 well you only have ,66 stitches from the last row doesn't add up unless I am reading something wrong. Please advise

I love watching what you make. I have just started making Amigarumi and already have a huge box full. I am a bit addicted . I have made a few of the mamamademinis Loveys and decided I wanted to make one of the plushies. I chose the Moxi monster and lost track with my stitches at the neck. I knew enough to figure that the 3 sc in one stitch was an increase that needed to be either the back or the front of the neck. I could not tell from the pictures where I was supposed to put these stitches and the pattern doesn’t say. I did it backwards of course! The plushies have this curved sticky out bottom that I had turned out on his front. I then pulled it out and did it backwards again !!! lol. So annoying. I have written a note on the pattern for next time now. Honestly it wasn’t intuitive for me where they should go. I love your input and thoughts on patterns. 😀

Just today was working up a dragon and could not figure out for the life of me why they added the extra step of making a tail when you could have just started the body with that part.

@YarnandWhimsyDesigns I just made Whinnie and she came out surprisingly not that big. I used less than one whole skein of the main color in Michael's Chenille Home Slim. I know those are large skeins, but I was expecting a larger result. If it wasn't for her long tail, she would be pretty small.
I think the Gilbert belly patch shape would look good on your last dragon (Drake?). All the dragons were adorable in their own way. Being a fairly new crocheter I enjoy these comparison videos to help me decide on pattern choices for my skill level.
I have the same issue with knott monster patterns. Great designs but the pattern writing and photo taking leaves something to be desired. Loved seeing your sweet face and bless you for doing all of those dragons, I know that was A LOT of work. Have a great week! ❤❤

My friend has a friend who works at joann's and she texted her about posh. She was told that it was a limited "edition' and has been discontinued. It's really sad
I liked the circle patch for your blue dragon. I would add it if it was me. I also agree with your thoughts about the designers adding where the increases need to line up. I’ve had that problem too. Thanks for the video on the different dragon patterns. I haven’t made one yet, and this is great information if I decide to do one.
speaking of doing increases to shape a body, I did the Happy The Hippo (it's by 4 designers) and the increases for the body would have been on it's side for me, But thankfully I have enough crocheting knowledge to be able to make the adjustments for my tension and alter where the increases needed to go. I wouldn't recommend that pattern to beginners, as it could be different for everyone.

I made Winnie in bernat baby blanket and she’s absolutely incredible! She’s big but not too big because I used such small yarn and a small hook. I love her. Also I say yes on the green belly!
23:46 made this one last month, I hated seeing on the top thigh 😭 I took it off like 30 times, then of course it ended up stretching the hole out🙄 still cute but I viewed NEVER to makes it again
I made the knot monster dragon too and had similar issues with the pattern. I used a different pattern for the wings, I couldn’t get the original wing pattern to work.
Love your you tube videos. I have made Winnie and she is beautiful. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to put the hind leg and thigh. on Winnie

I would do the stitching across the chest not the round. I have been looking at dragons and I tend to be drawn to stitching. You’ll have to look for those to know what I am talking about.❤️

I would do the stitching across the chest not the round. I have been looking at dragons and I tend to be drawn to stitching. You’ll have to look for those to know what I am talking about.❤️
