Hey curious of your opinion on the XPedition for wet weather. I noticed the controller is mounted underneath the bottom bracket and the batteries being exposed. Do you think it would be an issue if caught in the occasional storm? I’m currently without vehicle and considering this bike for my commuting and grocery getting . Thanks ! Great video
@@ChrisCrossed thanks for the reply , yeah I was going to keep a quality cover stowed just in case . I was concerned with actually riding it when raining . How do you like it over all?
Thank you for doing this test valuable information. What do you think causes the loud noise from the motor? Is it typical for these 750w torque heavy motors to be this loud? When do you see Lectric coming out with the next Gen xpedition?
When you say you unlock to class three, is there a video that shows how to do this? We are ordering one of these and we live in the smoky mountains of NC. I want all the power I can get.
I like you saying the % of incline, but I suggest you use one hill and do it throttle only for comparison to other bikes. That's what most people are interested in.
Kepler probably will never show more than 1,340 watts. I think it's not much more than a 750 watt nominal motor in torque despite their claims . They set it up for more speed somehow. Just the controller allows more speed than most 25-28 amp 750 watt rear hub set ups.. Anyway, great video again. ✌😎
I have this bike and the motor noise is concerning me. Not the loudness but the unevenness. It sounds like something is out of balance on all these bikes.
Just remember when you charge your battery don't charge it all the way because you can only fully charged batteries six seven eight hundred times at the most so if you fully charge it that's not going to last
Considering I ordered one three days ago, and have been reading all the reviews and watching all the videos I can, you are the only one who has said the speed is poor. One youtube tester claimed over 30mph while pedaling. So.....
We have 2 lectric Xp and no problem after 2 years over 1000miles 😀
Please do this test loaded up max cargo capacity pounds on the back.

You should be fine just dont leave it uncovered for hours in a rain storm.

@@jgeph2.4 yeah I was about to say buy a cover too :-)
Wonder what kind of climbing ability with some cargo weight?
Another video to come

Its just the way it is, some motors are noisier than others.
Mic seems to amplify noise. I've ridden this exact bike and while motor DOES sound like this, it's not as loud in person as video suggests.

It’s very easy and works the same way with any of their models. Watch this ua-cam.com/video/9k-bUBuPorU/v-deo.html
How is stability at speed? Thanks @Chriscrossed
It’s pretty stable, not as stable as a shorter bike but still good
I like you saying the % of incline, but I suggest you use one hill and do it throttle only for comparison to other bikes. That's what most people are interested in.
Just so everyone knows, you are putting lots of stress on the motor and controller when you don’t help pedal the bike going uphill

Anyway, great video again. ✌😎
Next vid will be the Kepler hill test.
@@ChrisCrossed set up the wattage and notice that readout if you can.😎
Already recorded it but maybe i'll do another one soon.
@@ChrisCrossed oh.. Or you can address that whole wattage thing on its own

I just chalk it up to being loud which some motors are. At least pedestrians will hear you coming! lol
Seems like lectric gets their bikes to the free UA-cam people but sure don’t care about the paying customers
Where did you get the suspension seat for the bike? On lectric website it says their suspension seats aren't for this bike.
I used a shim and their suspension seat and seat post
I like how quiet my 3.0 is compared to this ebike
Its def the loudest motor they have in their lineup
Nice helmet

This bike is too loud and the speed is horrible. What a joke of ebike 😂
It is loud but the speed is great.

So.....
@@christopherlane5238 it gets to 28 just fine, when it comes to other Lectric models it’s definitely the fastest
@@christopherlane5238 so…. What!?!!!!! Is not worth it. Is loud. And the speed is subjective. To me it is slow. To you might be super fast, grandpa 🤣
@Oscar Ramos alright, so what do you recommend? Price isn't subjective, so what in the same price range as this bike beats it?
