Technically,Young You is better,but theres something about Eunsoo Lim that makes you wanted to watch her skate again and again! shes a better performer than Young You! the way she skate remind me of Yuna Kim! i can feel the emotion she put in her skate! if she could improve her jump better,then she will be really succesful in the future! along with Young You
I was under the impression that pairs or "ice dancing" skating teams are required by Olympic regulations to consist of one man and one woman. Happy Pride Month, and how is this beautiful performance by two very talented young women accepted by the Olympic officials?
Ace Lightning I think what they mean to say is that this performance is for the Exhibition Gala, in which there are no rules and no scoring or judges. These two _usually_ compete in women's singles but are skating together for the Gala.
This was only for the gala. I don't know how a female (or male) pair would work in pairs skating or ice dancing due to the nature of the moves required.

Because they are not ice dancers. They compete in women singles. This performance was just for the gala program.
