Out of all the reviews out there, yours are the one I prefer. So I definitely want you to cover this board when you can. I think it also looks awesome and btw, I don't think you need to live in the mountains to get a board like this. I live in Canada, in the city of Quebec and the state of the streets is absolutely disgusting. And this stands for Montreal too. I have the black carve 1 with the 115 rubber rubber wheels but I would so much prefer AT wheels for comfort if it didn't reduce my range so much. Now on this board, better battery, I would definitely take it! Thanks again for all your hard work!
A note about the ground clearance with street wheels. Fabi mentioned in a recent video that there are actually two pre-drilled positions for the trucks themselves. If you look closely you can see them. So you could actually move the trucks down to the lower position to increase the ride height and get more clearance.
@@Fly-Co2 there are two positions that each truck can bolt to the board. One raises the height of the entire board and one lowers it. Look closely to where the trucks bolt to the board. There are two sets of holes.
You’re right about the Samsung 50S…it has a nominal voltage of 3.60V and that’s what should be used to calculate the nominal Wh rating for the pack. They’re using 3.7V to falsely inflate the Wh spec, which is silly as the nominal Wh rating has very little to do with the actual delivered-Wh when being used. Different cells can give you verrry different actual Wh-delivered numbers (which determine the range of the pack). The whole Wh ratings game is just silly and confusing IMO.
Yes I completely agree. Battery technologies are just so confusing for anyone new to the field, and at times even DIY builders who messed around for years with these will get facts wrong. I also support the Range = Delivered energy statement. However, delivered energy is messed up by so many different factors that we almost could only trust what we're used to, making it very difficult for companies to explain to EVERY consumer, so they give the "nominal" ratings and a range "estimate". For the sake of comparison between products, we really ought to have a standardized test which limits most variables except cell to cell differences and dyno the boards at different conditions (e.g. hard riding style/casual riding style) to have a proper purchase guide for consumers.
I admittedly haven't been Eskating as much lately. Been leaning more towards Electric Unicycles and Onewheel lately. This is the 1st Eskate I've been this excited about in a while. I'm bored with the 2 in 1 style like Ownboard Zeus and Eovan GTO Silo.

16" trucks and 16kg is pretty hefty, i like it though i feel like to many manufacturers are trying to make theur board as close to regular longboard specs as possible but we really need the stability at speeds we get from wide wheel bases and besides we dont need to push it with our feet so it shouldnt get in the way.

Looks like the Propel Endeavor from last year that I have. Probably just the tires. Im sure the specs are totally different. I'd be curious how you think the Endeavor technology is holding up compared to what's coming out now? I love the coil suspension.
Dear Daniel, thanks for all your great videos. I have a suggestion for a video you can make. Show boards and possibilities for people to own boards with legal restriction in their countries, for example for me in norway no board is legal that can go faster than 20 km/h, and its very hard to find any board that goes this slow. Perhaps you can show some DIY methods or resources? Thanks. Keep up the good work
Exway have an app where you can limit the top speed... bustin boards remote has modes that also limit the top speeds... my only personal experiences, not sure about the rest. Who cares about legality though? Completely illegal in the uk where I'm at. Doesn't stop anyone. At least not the majority. Can't conform to ridiculous laws or they will become evermore ridiculously controlling.
The Tynee Explorer (and I guess also the new Mini 3 Pro) has a "legit" mode where you can set the max speed yourself restricted to only one speed mode. I guess technically it is not legal since you can change it on the remote, but the police will have to know how to navigate the menu on the remote (highly doubt they will be able to). Gives be ease of mind knowing I can quickly change it into legal mode in a couple of seconds, if ever I encounter the police.
I can't wait to try one out... but yeah I also live in the city so the bigger these boards get the more likely I am to get pulled over... it looks soooooooo good though
@@regrox Its selling points are more power and range at the cost of portability, which to me is not a good trade for esk8. I was interested in that deck but it seems too wide to me (270mm) and the battery enclosure is hella ugly. If I don’t think I’d give an overall positive review I generally skip.

I would like for you to test the Tynee Mini 3/Pro with the AT conversion kit for comfort with still keeping some portability. Pneumatics is just such a huge difference. Whenever I am on urethane I am constantly on edge, ready for the smallest obstacle to wreck me.

We need to get golf courses to open up for electric skateboards. Like towards the end of the day. Nice safe place - being able to land on fairway, not asphalt, concrete, or dirt/rocks. After last group has teed off at the end of the day, wait 2 hours, then let electric skateboarders on. When they catch up to the golfers, they can simply circle back to the first hole, then once they get there, start over again. rinse and repeat.

You probably have a nice PC with Nvidia GPU for editing. Take a look at their Nvidia Broadcast tool! It can do the greenscreen cutout much cleaner than what's in the video, live on your webcam feed :) It has a background removal tool too, but your sound is already excellent, so don't bother. Also your voice is great, who cares?
18kg is really heavy man. I have 20kg weights so I imagine needing to walk with that in certain areas and my body is just like "no thanks, thos isnt the gym"
Considering you can buy the Mantis X e-bike with suspension.. disc brakes… 50mph top speed.. etc etc etc.. x for $3000… this thing is way out of line price wise imho. Value isn’t there. But I do agree… I want one too. But I’m not gunna pay 3k for a board that is really lacking in value. Look what you get with ace deck for $2500 with the NYZ Z3. $3000usb is a cash grab. IMHO. Sweet board none the less

I make e-skate illegal :D :D. I live in Bulgaria and I do not have problem to drive around cars with 40 km .Police never stop me with e-skate and even I talk with them when ride on the street. Bulgarian police are really nice. I hope you can visit Bulgaria and ride without restriction :)

Do you mean that I can change my truck position and get my belt motors further from the ground ? On 90mm wheeles

I have a carbon zeus. Next board will be bamboo. I find the stiff carbon board throws me off sometimes on unexpected bumps, no give. I’m 150lb, 68kg
I'm a big fan of bamboo. It's the one thing that keeps me away from CF.

I think it would be perfect with a flexy deck and possibility to put straps. But the deck is a lot curvy and not flexy, is it confortable?
