You never mentioned how powerful the transformer was I love the simplistic design I think I’ll do the same thank you for sharing💚👊
No seriously you didn’t tell what kind of power your AC adapter was producing, volts/amps??
I picked up an old battery charger for $10 yesterday, and I tried the fingernail polish method you demonstrated here and it worked great! One more tool scratched off the seemingly endless list of tools or equipment that I want to fully complete my little shop!
I'm glad that it was helpful. It's nice to mark something off the list.
Спасибо! 👍
Thank you for all the tips. I will have to try this one.
Yes show the plug end and I will definitely make one ! Keep up the good work.
Love the great attitude 👍
What voltage & amperage output was your adapter/transformer?
Also is it AC to AC, or AC to DC?
Thanks.
Would like to see the build of the plug end of your etcher. When you sowed it in the upper left hand corner, it was to small and fast to see how you built it. Thanks.
I Plan on building a 2nd one and showing parts of it on the Shop Talk Tuesday's.
Great video man. Just what I needed finishing my second blade ever for mother's day and I need to top it with my etch.
Good luck!
Great video! Very informative in describing each step of the process!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool. Thanks for making this
Also subbed
Thank you for a detailed video
Just use an old phone charger. It does the job just as well.
Excellent!! Thanks!
Hey buddy I watch a lot of your stuff and I've learned a lot from you and I really thank you and appreciate that I have a question I know this video is a little older where did you get the AC adapter from?
You can get these by taking apart an old AC or DC charger. I use a 10 year old car battery charger for etching now. If you're going that route, you need to get an older one that doesn't have all the safety features like the newer ones have.
Beautiful!!! 😍
Thank you!! 😊
Great video Eric, Your logo Rocks 🤙👍Logos are difficult, i have been trying to create my logo for 3 years now,, but I'm never happy Lol 😂 So congats Mate 😉
I know this is old but DONT use a pencil Lol 😂 you should get a better etch without the lead Lolturned out nice tho!! 👍
Great idea! I want to make one, but... Can you make a video on how you made and possibly found the parts to the power end of the etcher? The little corner video isn't a clear enough visual. Where did you find the inverter? Messing with electricity is not my cup of tea, but willing to learn.
Thanks again.
Great video! I enjoy your videos very much, simple and good.. What type of adapter did you use for this?
Thanks.
Do you have a separate video of you wiring the adapter that's a little easier to see? Just making sure I don't blow myself up lol
I'm probably missing something here but what voltage are you putting through the blade, is it full on mains power or stepped down?
I seen you he’d a little thing on how you wired up the power supply , do you have just a link on just that so I can see how to wire up mine …. And what power supply did you us ?
I wish you would show us more in detail how you made it
great job! subscriber from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿👍
Awesome! Thanks for watching.
Did I miss the build on how you made the adapter end.
Don't most cell phone charges dumb the power down can't you just split the wire and leave the plug as is and just use the 5v it sends out?
Does it need to be brass?
Nope not at all. You can actually do this with a car battery charger. There are a few videos on UA-cam showing it that way. That's what I use now days.
👍🍺🇦🇺
What are those little plastic things that go around the brass bolt called ?
I wish you would do a full video on how to build it.
Ill be building another one soon and do a video dedicated to that.
Those are Nylon Spacers / Bushings, Even a bit of rubber hose(gas line) would work just fine.
Etcher or suicide device?
Yes.
Like the video but you do tend to talk too long on each point. Simplify the video and ad detail on the plug in and you will have a viral video
So the nail polish works as a resistant to the electo chemical reation?
Yup, it does.
