I believe changing the wheel set from aluminum to carbon will shave some weight for sure. I’m at the verge of getting one myself. I’m more a roadie than a MTB’r but I do hit the trails now and then. And this one would be more suitable for me if I decide to race someday just for fun.
Hello, i ordered the procaliber 6, is this model fine? I noticed difference in fork:judy vs recon, shifter and cassette Shimano: M6100 vs M7100 etc… Iam just a casual biker.
Great review . Im liking this bike , lookon for a muktiday bikepack road trail bike. The spec looks good with boost 10-51t , dropper post ,and i think they done a good job with 120mm fork. Do u know if the supplied rekon can be extended to 130mm as on trek website it mentions this bike is good for a 130mm fork . Maybe a revelation 120-130mm fork as an upgrade , or a sid 🙂 cheers
@@CyclingInsiderthanks , that sounds like a good plan SID it is 🙂 , I have looked around at other bikes and this bike is top of the list at the monent especially for the price 👍
Unfortunately this bike is not visible even on trek overseas website here in usa. Some kind of block. But it is for sale in Europe. The procaliber 6 will be for sale soon. Not sure why procaliber 8 is not offered for sale yet but I imagine it will be
Appreciate your detailed review and helpful recommendations for future upgrades!
I watched the whole video just because his voice is so calming and relaxing hahaha, like the vid! Such an AMAZING accent
Thank you

I would leave this Recon fork at 120mm. Once when you destroy this one, then think about Sid.

Hello, can it accomodate a 38T chainring ?
Wil there be enough gap on the chainstay part ?
No. Max is 34T chainring.

I hope they will offer it in USA. It's an excellent deal
Yes it is available in UK
Sadly only 34T max chainring which i think is tiny
I would say for majority of normal riders 34T is more than enough. If you are competing on the national level, then you might consider 36T or 38T.
