I got to be honest with you, I started learning finger crochet with the bulky yarn and I was fascinated since I always want to crochet but hard for me to do it with the needle, but know I am more fascinated since I saw your videos with the loop yarn, same method and the results are neat, beautiful and perfect, you can't make mistakes with this yarn and the loops are exactly the same size. I love your beautiful blankets, your style and thank you for taking your time to teach us.❤
@Romantico1962 Thank you for the kind words! Loop yarn certainly reduces the margin for error, is a great alternative to crocheting and provides beautiful results. I’m so happy you found the tutorials helpful! ❤️
Hi! I have a different loop yarn blanket video which uses a cable knit design. That blanket only needs about 6 skeins of yarn. For this throw with the ripple design, you will need 8-9 skeins of loop yarn. The ripple design requires more yarn than a cable knit design. Hope this helps! ❤️
I saw a pattern for this on Joann Fabrics and it was terrible; made no sense at all! It was apparent to me that it was knitted but they didn’t specify what size knitting needles to use, etc. I have seen the loop yarn but I didn’t know what it was for! Thankfully someone in the reviews linked to your video and now I’ve had the aha moment where the light 💡 came on! So thank you for making this video!
Hi! I didn’t know someone linked my video! Of course I ran over to the Joann website to take a look. I feel special. Lol! So glad you found the tutorial helpful. Yay! That’s exactly why I make these videos. Hope your blanket turns out amazing! ❤️
@@CraftingWithYoo I linked to it again in my review, so they wdnt hv to search for it; but I don’t think it’s posted yet bc it has to be approved, first. But, yes, I’m so glad the other person linked to it, bc it’s a beautiful blanket, and I cdn’t make heads or tails out of that pattern, until I saw your video! So, thanks for making it! 😊
How do you modify it if you are making a larger blanket? I started it last night and I noticed as I’m going along only the first thirteen loops are more defined and then as I end to the end it is less defined
@@VickyTerronesI re-watched the video and I recommend that you rewatch it and knit the blanket as you go watching the video and keep pausing the video while you work. It looks pretty clear, but since I haven’t actually done it, I can’t visualize what you’re talking about. Sorry I can’t be more help.🌷

Ive seen that 6 skeins of loop yarn make a 50" x 60" throw, though i saw in a comment you
mentioned 8-9. Were you talking about loop yarn or regular?

Do you maybe know how much would I need if I use Alize Puffy fine yarn?
How many balls on yarn do you normally use
Hi! For a throw (50” x 60”), 8-9 balls of yarn should be enough. If you want to make a baby blanket, go with 4 balls of yarn. Hope this helps! ❤️

@@VickyTerronesI’m sorry but I didn’t make the blanket yet. Maybe craftingwithyoo can help out here. 😊
