- The BenQ Zowie XL2411K is the successor of the XL2411P and also comes with a 144 Hz TN panel. Apart from similar specs Zowie updated their classic 24" gaming monitor with DyAc and XL-Setting-to-Share among other improvements. And they also guarantee compatibility with the Xbox Series X and PS5.

@@turloughconnor7387 I didn't pick up the order (xl2411P). It is clear from the review that the 2411P will also have a similar pixel response, while not having either G-sync or V-sync. Not worth it. Black Frame Insertion is not so good option.

As a 5 year owner of the RL2455S my best advice would be to put your console and monitor in “limited” rgb, that way the blacks look grayish but help a looot with viewing angles vertically.

I have this monitor and it’s good and I got it for the DyAc and was told it didn’t reduce brightness however that’s not true it does reduce the brightness, it’s the 240hz version that doesn’t not this 144hz one he has reviewed, so I would stick to DyAc High and AMA high. Setting DyAc to premium makes screen way to dim

Would you recommend 100hz for strobing? I've found it to have the least overshoot but it's a little blurrier due to an increased response time.
Would you also recommend 100hz without strobing? One other reviewer found it to have much less error rates.

I'm really considering this monitor because I mainly play COD Warzone and I've read that playing on the 240Hz version is a bit technical in terms of dyac and matching the framerate. What's your warzone experience like on this monitor? I run a 2070 super so I'm hoping the framerate won't be an issue with this 144Hz version. I feel there is still some distracting ghosting in fastest of fastest IPS panel vs TN. What are your thoughts?
I personally don't find a bit of ghosting too distracting. I mean I do see it, but I don't find it holds me back when it's under a certain threshold. And many fast IPS far exceed that threshold for me. I'd even argue some very fast IPS like the Asus VG249Q or Dell S2721DGF to name a few, even perform basically as fast as a TN panel.

Some Esports players are playing with Dyac off and AMA high. (Tenz,shahzam etc..) What do you think about it? Dyac and AMA high vs dyac off AMA high?
Honestly, I'd recommend giving both setups a try. DyAc has great motion clarity, but it's just not for everyone. Some feel a bit dizzy or even get headaches from backlight strobing.

I'm probably going to use this monitor mainly for gaming if i buy it but I also like to do some gameplays and montages but the fact that you pointed out that its not for content creation makes me question if I should look for other options. So should I look for other monitors out there or stick with this? If I should look for other monitors what monitor should I look for?
if you need accurate colours yes but if if you dont it shouldn't bother you much
super late but if you had a second monitor i feel like it'd be less of a problem, especially considering if you're not doing any professional grade coloring it probably wont matter that much anyways. plus if it did matter that much, you could always rely on your scopes instead.
Has BenQ solved the ,, out of range" problem when using displayport cable to achieve 144hz on (for example XL2430) monitor?
I used Displayport for all my testing but haven't had such an issue yet.

Amazing review thank you , you should have a lot more subs than you have but you gained one from me, you saved me the mistake of getting this for the ps5, I didn't realise it doesn't have variable refresh , looking forward to Sony updating ps5 for VRR.

I think having Dyac and being able to use it with AMA simultaneously eliminates the need for VRR. I play on a Series X and I'm coming from a monitor with VRR and this Zowie is smoother

would you recommend the Asus VG24Q over this for a first time gaming pc owner? I can see a lot of negative points made here about the colour variance and curious which monitor I should go for.
If you're unsure whether you want to sacrifice picture quality for response time, strobing and other gaming related feature I would definitely go with the VG249Q instead. It's a much more versatile monitor.

I bought this monitor and I liked it extremely. But I am confused about settings. What AMA and DyAc settings would you recommend for playing competitive CS:GO?
I would suggest trying DyAc High with AMA High first and keeping that if you don't get headaches from DyAc. Otherwise turn both DyAc and AMA off.
I really want to buy this monitor also to watch movies and series, cause it's something that i do a lot, is it worth it? Nowadays, this is the best 144hz/1ms option for me, for it's short base and clean design, the fact it is a TN screen gives me headaches though. I'm brazilian and this monitor here in Brazil is kind of expensive. I'll be really thankful if you would responde me.
For ultimate try hard: Tilt monitor in same angle as your keyboard for ultimate ergo! basically vertical! Make sure your playing on 400p resolution. And Zowie, is too much to ask for a bigger bezel. It's 2021 for christ sake!

@@Pikzal Honestly out of the box it looked horrendous but after tweaking a bit it looks great. I have dyac on the highest setting although I'm not too sure about the benefits I get with it on versus off. It gets crazy bright though.
