Your capacity to endure boredom is admirable.
Being in a loving relationship helps to give purpose and meaning to the relentless poverty through out the Isaan area.
The influx of time and money from foreigners like yourself give hope to the lucky few locals that would otherwise be locked into a never ending cycle of rice farming and just a day by day struggle to survive.
Poverty only comes from not doing much for other people. IF you get up early and WORK 60 to 100 hours a week for other people -- producing goods and services for THEM -- you will not be in "poverty" for very long. I know because I did it in my life. I went from nearly homeless, living in a rented room by the week (because I could not afford deposits for monthly rental), to working three jobs and 100-hour weeks back-to-back, which have made me wealthy and debt-free (including my home, land, and car).

@@markbeck3899 I now volunteer to help other people, since I have all the money and leisure that I need. I also donate a lot. All it required was HARD WORK in younger days. And no drugs. And discipline.

There is way more poverty in the states. I disagree with your statement in that everyone here is very happy and want for nothing.
Tony, I’m so glad that I found your channel. I believe you’re living my life. 😂 I can retire from federal civil service when I’m 56-1/2 and that’s just 508 days away. I’m ejecting from the US of A the very next day and I’m bringing my father and my aunt with me. They are both in their mid 80s and are ready to go now.

I drove my nephews Nissan utility, very under powered and lots of turbo lag. I wasn’t impressed. Perhaps you could mod/ tune the ECU for a better drive.
I've no complaints about the power with my Hilux. Before this truck I had a 6.2 liter 420 hp. This truck is fine for what it is.
Thank you. I love my Nissan Navara with the 7 gear ATM box. Needs less than 7 liters per 100km. Is quiet inside. Got it 5 years old for half the new price. Dealer gave 20.000km garantie.
