  • Story time with #moparbro fred_eazy21 ! We check out this sweet Dodge Charger with a stroked 426 Hemi!!
This build started out as a 6.1L SRT8 Hemi which got stroked to a 426 stroker kit. Coupled with differential work, twin Cold air intake CAI and a quiet Borla exhaust system this thing is a beast!
Once upon a time, in the realm of American muscle cars, there lived a Dodge Charger. But this Charger was no ordinary beast; it was endowed with the heart of a legend, a 426 Hemi engine. This engine was the stuff of automotive dreams, famous for its massive power and legendary performance on both the street and the track.
But as the years passed, the world changed, and the demands of performance evolved. The Charger, ever eager to prove its dominance, sought to push the boundaries of power even further. And so, with the help of Mopar, the performance division of Chrysler, the Charger's 6.1-liter Hemi engine was stroked to a mighty 426 cubic inches, transforming it into a fearsome 426 Hemi stroker.
The process was meticulous and precise, with every component carefully selected and crafted to handle the increased displacement and power. The engine block was strengthened, the crankshaft was forged, and the pistons were upgraded to withstand the tremendous forces unleashed by the stroked Hemi.
With its newfound displacement, the Charger 426 Hemi stroker roared to life with a ferocious growl, eager to unleash its power upon the open road. The streets trembled as it thundered past, leaving a trail of burning rubber and awestruck onlookers in its wake.
But it wasn't just about raw power; the Charger 426 Hemi stroker was also a work of art, its engine bay adorned with gleaming chrome and polished aluminum. It was a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of Mopar, a symbol of American muscle at its finest.
And so, the legend of the Dodge Charger 426 Hemi stroker lived on, a timeless tale of power, performance, and passion. For those fortunate enough to experience its fury, it was a journey unlike any other, a thrilling ride into the heart of automotive greatness.

I've been looking for a 2006-2009 srt8 for a while now, was wanting to see how feasible making a 426 out of it would be. Those were the prime years for modern chargers IMO. They came out when I was a young teen and they made me fall in love with Mopar, I inherited a V6 2008 and while it's by no means powerful I can't get over how good it looks.

Fast lane performance in Atlanta where I’m at they do the 426 package for 17000$ and they forge the motor pistons and rods and cam it and tune it as well and it comes with a hellcat BGE block they say it will make 600 NA and will handle 1400 HP if you boost it

Hey there! From the owners iv spoken too its just a way to add horsepower by adding displacement to the motor, the other option is to super charger the 6.1L hemi but really Stroker to a 426 or swapping to a 426 motor is just an option or way of more horsepower. I would say that the 426 hemi crate motor or even the Stroker kit is In fact a stronger motor to throw a supercharger in, in the future. Having a 426 hemi definitely gives you future options to adding more horsepower compared to say throwing a supercharger on a stock 6.4 hemi. Hope this helps and thnx for watching!

@@AVWAP 5.7s are great bro. Some years are better than others but there's plenty of potential for future power in all generations. It's a good platform IMO. And they're still great stock, good combo of power, mpg, and sound.

The original 426 was a big block track engine back in the late 60s so to have a modern 426 hemi is definitely a treat
