How to repair dishwasher basket

How to repair a dishwasher basket without hassle? My silverware kept poking out of the hole in the dishwasher basket and interfering with the water spray blade. I used a piece of wire to mend the hole. It’s a quick and cheap fix which solves the problem for good.

Excellent work. But the easiest way is to buy a new one. Last month i bought the same one ( for ariston/whirlpool dw) for about 15$ from aliexpress

Everything can be bought instead of repaired. I repair it so as not to produce additional garbage.
