I have never in my life heard of Pierce College actually having a football team. I mean, I know it did and I have SEEN the stadium from my time attending Pierce, but to me it always looks abandoned. Idk. Just a little weird to see something like that posted up next to the Rose Bowl or Dodger Stadium. Some college venues make sense - again, like the Rose Bowl, Coliseum, and even Drake Stadium, but the little community college ones... Idk.
I’d agree. However the coliseum was used for NFL for a long time back in the day as well.
Pierce actually hosted the final LA Express USFL football game. I'm pretty sure Steve Young played in that game.
Pierce College: where 90% of CSUN transfers come from 😂
Fun fact: The tennis stadium in Dignity Health Sports Park is hosting boxing, a fighting sport.
It's also the 2028 Olympic tennis venue, which might have been worth a mention.
The two stadiums (which share a plaza area for concessions, restrooms, and entrance/exit) held simultaneous events one night earlier this year (MLS and boxing). That's rare. I wondered if they were testing logistics operations ahead of the Olympics.
@@johnmaster3748 I guess they are. So they know what they will do in time for 2028
Indeed, it likely sees more use throughout the year as a boxing venue than a tennis stadium.
649 I vote for the United Football League Los Angeles Express at SoFI Stadium
5:52
5:52 Long Beach or Inglewood
the Rams should return to Anaheim
Agree
And Los Angeles Sparks can have Long Beach Arena
Sofi is crazy!
Next you should do the stadiums of Buenos Aires since there are a lot of them.
That would be great. I got to three in a one-week vacation there. La Bombonera would be a great video on its own.
It's on the to do list.
Do the stadiums of Chicago next please
As a UCLA fan we have the best college stadium in cfb
And the best campus! UCLA Fight fight fight!
The first stadium, Santa Ana stadium, is home to Mater Dei, Mexico has played there and Golden boy has hosted boxing events. At one point was gonna be home to Chivas USA and expanded and is home to multiple high school graduations every year. This place is awesome
What? No Blair Field in Long Beach?
Can you cover the Northwoods Baseball League?
Please do New York Stadiums next
It's in the works.
Great video as always! I'd love to see a follow up regarding 2028 Los Angeles Olympic venues... So amped to see the city host the games for the third time. Followed by Brisbane!!!
Incidentally I just went to a sold out Aqua concert last week... At the Sasktel Center in Saskatoon... Not quite the attendance record THERE but back home in Edmonton? Yes! Fastest sell out of a casino entertainment venue in the cities history and they've sold DIAMOND level status in Canadaland... Go figure! Another weird quirk about our land of bisexual stoners... They love Euro-dance too! ;-)
Did the Edmonton Eskimos change the of the team to the Edmonton Elks? #CFL
Can you please make a video of the Texas High School football teams stadiums?
That’s not a bad idea. Some of those Texas high school venues are larger (and more deluxe) than some small college stadia.
@@JBM425 thanks!
That would be a four-hour documentary. And I would watch.
@@ronflatter1235 yeah, that's true, and yes, I'll watch it too. Better than politics, that's for sure! LMFAO
I’m from LA, I went back home to visit a awhile back and was like when did LA get a new soccer team?!
Good video. However, FYI, three cities have 2 MLB teams. New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
I'd be tempted to throw San Francisco onto that list as well.... Oakland might as well be SF.
Can you do a video about NCAA Hockey East arenas?
You missed Jackie Robinson Stadium at Pasadena City College. It has football, track and the Tournament of Rose Band Fest. Pasadena also has Robinson Field which is a baseball field in Brookside Park near the Rose Bowl. It was once a site for Chicago Cubs spring training. There is also the "Pyramid" Basketball Stadium at Long Beach State. Pasadena and Long Beach are in L. A. County while Anaheim and San Bernardino are not.
Fitting because Dodger Stadium is hosting the MLB All-Star Game this year!
7:53 had me dying in laughter
I don't know if it's true that they had to move a lot of earth to build Dodger Stadium, but they definitely had to move a lot of people out of the area.
Please do a video of stadiums from the Argentine Primera Division.
Yes!
