Has nothing to do with them gutting the early and midgame the last couple of leagues I am sure. Even Essence farming is now reserved for giga blasting as no one buys anything below deafening reliably and everything that is not defeating is now worth 1c due to the dumb scarab changes. Much less allowing scarabs to stack. So now you need to be able to blast a boss with 8+essence modifers on it, or you are making 1/10th of the people that can.

After the cluster and life reg change directly made first try 2 voidstones. Weapon is still bad with 680 dps but now it works. Thanks for the updates
It may not be the most min maxed thing in the world but every single league start I start with buying and running 100 blight maps. You get so much of everything from currency to scarabs and even fossils that it really kick starts your stash. Its also possible to clear on any character regardless of build or budget. All you need is standard res cap (75/75/75) to avoid one shot mechanics, although chaos helps too. Each league they cost around 1-6 chaos per map and so long as the map is finished its impossible to not make profit. I'd say a good average for low tier blight maps is 20-30 chaos, taking around 6 minutes to complete. However, spikes brings this up massively. This is especially true with stacked decks and personal experience includes a raw divine drop every 10-15 maps as well. It is also great exp as you can farm t16s straight from killing kitava in act 10. Plus its so low effort that its great as a second screen activity too. After all 100 maps (over a few days) I would say I average around 20-30 divines worth of drops. Which is enough to get any build out of the poor rut and into bigger and better methods. Ultimately though the "best" of anything in path of exile is the one you will actually do. So play the content you enjoy, actually do it and kill things and its impossible to not make currency. There is no such thing as a player whose poor after completing the map grind challenge in a league after all.
If you do this make sure you always corrupt the maps. T14+ is best as you can drop both ravaged maps and golden oils (t13+ for golden oils but not maps). However, tainted oils do not have a drop restriction besides the corruption. They can drop in t1 blight maps! They are also consistently the most expensive oil so while rare you do get a lot of currency from them!
What’s the general strategy for blight maps? My biggest issue is for frane drops and responsiveness once all portals are active, so I only have time to setup like, 10-15 towers
@@jacuul6735 Empowering (green), chill (blue) and stun (brown) all level 3 then build fire level 4 (meteor towers) with the burning ground anoint. Same technique for ravaged maps later on too :) edit: I realised I didn't say why. The combo of stun/freeze will perma freeze enemies if you have the more expensive chill towers freeze anoint, and super slow the mobs if not. The burning ground meteors then cover the floor in degen and as the mobs move so slowly they stay in the degen for ages and die. The burning ground is also separate to the meteor and so does not count towards fire immunity. Meaning that burning ground degen applies full damage to all blight mobs, even those resistant to fire towers.
@@icewindz I always start with tower reduction oils to make it really impossible to fail. What I said about needing just resists applies for tower reduced cost maps. Then you swap over to crimson for lucky chest types for better rewards once you can carry the maps yourself and are less tower reliant
Hey man, first of all bless the algorythm that actually put your videos on my feed. having a youtuber of poe that actually explain the game in a way simple enough that most can understand it s a blessing. i dont mean the complexity of words and sentences, but the approach to mechanics, it s good to see someone that just tells you "this is good, this is good as well, mix it however the fuck you want it will works more or less anyway" and now the contraddiction. i ve had a late league start and i planned to farm essences after a 3-4 leagues break from the game. i see that the tree that you shared for essences mixes heist and essence. for heist do i just sell the coin and ignore the contracts? i really cant be bothered trying to trade blueprints and stuff like that i always hated heist for that, but if it works it works ig. in case i would prefer to swap it out, do you think doing rogue exiles and shrines near essences is decent enough? was thinking that just for the amount of rares(so gold for the mechanic of the league too) plus maybe the essence scarabs will be good enough. ive seen the other video about essence too and i remember 2-3 new scarabs for essence would be good with it too as well? thanks for your time and the video actually showing the various options to get started lol
You can combine anything with Essences, really, Heist was just a recommendation to get yourself some low-level cheapo contracts to break up the monotony of Essence farming. Low-level contracts won't sell at this point. If you want to double up on farm mechanics, Essence/Beast can be better (bit tougher, though), and we've put an atlas passive tree in for that as well.

Incursion was a pretty good money maker for me 2 leagues ago when I was struggling. at that time in the league both double corrupt room room was selling for 1-2 div and like 2.5 div if you had both. So that was almost a guaranteed div every 3 maps no matter what map tier. Sadly they don't seem to be so profitable this league only making like 40-50c a temple
For me it's Delve - just reach level 81 monsters and farm sulphite on maps and Azurite in Delve to buy resonators in bulk. Then sell all that to Faustus. Used to do Essence and Harvest keystone Crop Rotation - it was flooding with juice on yellow and red maps. Now you get nothing without scarabs...
Essences can also scale higher into endgame farm strats, but the mobs get insanely difficult and require a very strong character at that point. Also, the scarabs enabling the endgame version are very expensive. Also, for singular focus, I would definitely not recommend doing it until you have all 4 voidstones.
Another great strat is sanctum. I’ve made my hexblast build 30m dps with 50 ish divines invested, mainly from sanctum. I can do sanctum in 25 ish minutes and nearly always get 2d per run, so doing shaper carry on tft + sanctum on down time leads to free money!
At 10:54, adding "Bl" to words made me chuckle, but only because I was listening passively to this video in the background while working on a build in PoB and I thought I was stroking out or something 🤣
its not boss rushing anymore though, you need to clear the map as much as possobile to spawn any extra bosses and there is the silo / phase cheese where you can leave after the first phase and run the same map over and over
@@hobodastreet normaly you need to switch to a different map if you do maven , but here you get the extra bosses and leave after you phase the boss , so you can just open the ext silo map and dont have to switch
@@tesladrew2608 It is called TFT. I skipped a few leagues so not entirely in the loop but looks like it got some sweet upgrades. Also works wonders if u farm scarabs. It calculates the worth of your entire tab and you sell it through Discord.
I'll probably stick to Ritual because its so straight-forward as my guys are still struggling on white maps this league. my buddy always does expedition to some extent so maybe I'll follow his lead here too. Great vid, especially regarding using singular focus which I'd never slotted before

I have a guestion about rogue exiles and scarab nodes in tree. One day i took all scarab and exile nodes from tree in hope to get a lot more scarabs. I ran like 20-30 maps and in some of those i used some exile scarabs etc. but not a single rogue exile dropped any scarabs. And i killed probably close to 200 exiles if not even over that. So is there something i may have allocated from tree that fucked it up or rogue exiles just don't drop scarabs or was i just that unlucky? All other monsters dropped them normally including unique bosses.
I mean the way people find out if something is profitable is they play something meta or submeta, then whip out a spreadsheet and a timer. Then see what made them currency or decent items the fastest. Usually the difference between S tier and B tier is build quality able to handle specific strategies. Totems of the ancients was easy to dominate at highest levels by anything that pulled aggro off of as many totems as possible.
I'm successfuly doing the essence strat, but I don't understand how does Heist work for me. If I understand correctly people want to buy only 83+ lvl contracts and blueprints, but because I'm running promenade and racecourse I only get lvl 73~ contracts and blueprints. In that case it seems better to respec heist entirely into scarabs or something. Or am I just dumb xd

When i started playing PoE i disliked strongboxes because you coudn't see them on the map. That was changed tho. Now i hate the one random dude that runs across the map which you have to hunt down to open the box... x.x I hate the invulerable shrine... When i try to hit the pac my game starts dying and then i die too...

I always try strongboxes every league and realize i have never ever , ever had anything drop from strongboxes even last league with juiced monstreous treasure maps on T17. Strongboxes just hate me and i hate them back Only those RMT streamers say shrines are bad because they have HH on day1. Otherwise you need shrines because your gear sucks and they give a lot of buff.
They do, you just don't remember it. Strongboxes give two things - density and small drops. Youre not getting divines, but you're getting fusing and such. As you invest in them on the tree, it's easy to open the same boxes 3-4 times or get 6 links from them to sell for fusing. They and their minions so drop scarabs and gold
Honestly the only thing that matters in farming this league is gold. Ive spent over a million of it and still always at 0 holding and 0 in the town. If you max out gold farming other stuff will follow.

Essences are my all time favorite. I just run some maps, then sell the entire essence tab. Can easily be done with a bulk selling tool.

the rogue exiles also give quite a lot of gold, so if they +20 procs, you'll drown in shiny shiny goodies

Toxic Rain is always a good option. Earthshatter Berserker is the build we've been putting out videos about this league.
Doing bleed glad, just completed atlas. Gear costs like 100c: 82/80/80/75res, max block, 6k life. Good clear, bad boss dps, literally immortal.

Exiles aren't that eager to drop scarabs they can, but they're not amazing at it. They mostly drop currency items and gold.
Ho, how to avoid/disable Expedition mod when you are not able to kill enemes?

I really wish I know which items to keep for trading. Idk what to look for in an item. I don’t even know how to craft a gg item. I can’t find a thorough video about it.. right now I’m just pushing the endgame content and it’s getting boring cuz I really wanna get into crafting and selling

When i started playing PoE i disliked strongboxes because you coudn't see them on the map. That was changed tho. Now i hate the one random dude that runs across the map which you have to hunt down to open the box... x.x
I hate the invulerable shrine... When i try to hit the pac my game starts dying and then i die too...

I always try strongboxes every league and realize i have never ever , ever had anything drop from strongboxes even last league with juiced monstreous treasure maps on T17. Strongboxes just hate me and i hate them back
Only those RMT streamers say shrines are bad because they have HH on day1. Otherwise you need shrines because your gear sucks and they give a lot of buff.
They do, you just don't remember it.
Strongboxes give two things - density and small drops. Youre not getting divines, but you're getting fusing and such. As you invest in them on the tree, it's easy to open the same boxes 3-4 times or get 6 links from them to sell for fusing. They and their minions so drop scarabs and gold

Honestly the only thing that matters in farming this league is gold. Ive spent over a million of it and still always at 0 holding and 0 in the town. If you max out gold farming other stuff will follow.

Gold doesnt really matter, its best use is ah and its doesnt require that much gold
You talk about farming essences in T6 maps but higher tier essences don't drop in T6 anymore, you're farming for peanuts...
That's not true.
From wiki: Essence Monoliths in White Maps can now spawn up to a maximum tier of Screaming, while those in Yellow or Red Maps can spawn up to a maximum tier of Shrieking
Addendum, that's from the 3.24 patch notes
And then you use Essence scarab ascent and now they spawn as defeaning. Don't bring the smoke without watching the video.
