@@Hyxtrem Sure thing! I started my channel to not just read card text boxes in "deck tech" videos like a lot of other content creators do. I like to actually explain why I played certain cards and why they work - especially the combos, interaction, and synergy. Otherwise, what's the point? Believe it or not, when brewing a deck I might think an idea is good but then testing the decks online on Cockatrice I find so many other synergies and interactions that I didn't really see until I was in those situations. I do end up making cuts/swaps for some ideas that didn't work but a lot of the times I'm surprised by just how well some cards interact together and even more so with the appropriate commander.
Got to love the value of free spells! But I didn't realize that Venser can blink any of your permanents. I'm going to have to check the deck I have him in to see if I can make any worthwhile changes
Yup, Venser is amazing for so many reasons especially since he delay blinks with a positive loyalty ability. So you can always blink lands to keep them up for other turns or to get their enter the battlefield triggers.
Have you ever considered making some budget variants of these decks? I always like the decks you make but they are seriously way out of my budget range. P.S. your Siona deck is killing it at my LGS. I won on turn 4 with it last week.
Woot! Great to hear my brew has been helping you take names and kick ass at your LGS! I did make some budget variants of my decks when I started the channel but with so many budget channels and content already out there they do get drowned out. So instead I just mention in my videos how to cheapen the mana base. For example, you can hold out on getting the fetchlands until they get reprinted and, unless you're playing online, you don't need the original dual lands; other dual-typed lands will work just fine. I also avoid any expensive cards that aren't really necessary for the deck to function. For example, in this Yennett build, fortunately Scroll Rack, Vampiric Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, and Cruel Tutor just recently got reprinted so they're relatively cheaper. And although I do mentioned running Imperial Seal and Capture of Jingzhou, I also mention that they're not worth buying for the deck and any budget substitutes will work. This deck can be even more brutal with including things like Moat, Timetwister, and other oppressive cards but these are so ridiculously expensive that I don't bother brewing with them let alone mention them. Recently Gaea's Cradle received such an insane spike that it used to be in the range of the dual lands but now it's almost a 4-figure card. So I no longer recommend it unless players have no issues with gold-bordered cards.

I've found that that many win cons is unnecessary if you go hard on extra-turns effects. I'm running 8 odd mana extra turn spells because i can't afford capture of jingzhou, plus time stretch and Mnemonic Deluge (3 extra turns when targeting time warp, Temporal Manipulation, or Savor the Moment). The only other win-con I have besides Yennett is Ulamog because, well, ulamog. So far, I have a 100% win rate whenever I get 2 extra turns in a row. @@TheCommanderTavern Yeah the problem is I have an aminatou blink deck so I've got to pick up a second copy for this deck. I'm too lazy to switch cards around all the time.
@@joshuasinger4649 Same. The only exception is obviously all the fetchlands, dual lands, and moxes. Hm, not really. Gonti isn't a bad commander but I feel like he's better suited in the 99 of a black deck with other colors that allow him to get blinked more often.
