Hi Jonah, great lesson, going to link it with your Harp Trainer! Now I have been practicing my scales its added structure to my harmonica playing. Painting and surfing analogy perfect!! Cheers Jonah
That was amazing! Even for someone like me who doesnt play harmonica, I made me feel like I could do it! Also the painting also inspired me, I had trouble with that skill and just gave up completely but I may just pick it back up!
Helpful video, Thank you. After years of just playing 2nd blues scale. I'm now learning 1st and 3rd position scales Whoa daunting lol. I really like tip 3: Hum it then play it. and try playing badly lol no problem:) learning these new scales is a great start. and finding the 1 4 and 5 chord notes Thanks again
Regarding tip #3 I find whistling is the way to go. Maybe it's that the in and out breaths when whistling are quite close to the same action as blow and draw notes.
I really like this video. Love the visual with the surfer painting and the analogy of how to relates to playing music.
Love the surfing analogy and the painting was cool. Thanks, I enjoyed that.
Cool video, thanks for the tips.
And that painting was awesome!
Thanks Jonah!! Nice job!
Really enjoying the harp trainer! Using it like circuit training up and down the bpm’s.
Love the song!
Great, I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

Diggin' your videos Jonah and I'm glad you're posting again. So what's the difference between a lick and a riff?
Licks are short, riffs are longer. There’s practically no difference, it makes talking about this stuff a little confusing honestly.

Great advices ;)
