These videos are very concise and informative. Great job! I hope the top will go into production even if it doesn't reach the 25 minute goal. Looks like a fun spinner!
Whatever you produce from this I will purchase because I have several of your tops and love them all. Please on the next version please try an aluminum center with a Tungsten external section to see what is the ultimate / affordable top.
I think bigger was the answer, this is about the max diameter I can fit into the through spindle of the machine unfortunately. Glad you are enjoying it!
Well, you had *me* at “Let’s make a top”… welcome words for any BS fan! A 25-min 1-piece… ambitious! Go for it, Mr. Stadler! Machining changes to increase spin time? Well, you might consider trimming the collar’s height a bit… sacrifice some weight in order to lower the COG some. We’ll all look forward to seeing your Part 3 vid!
You could round the edges for better aerodynamics and check your starting rpms with thinner and if it doesn't help then with a wider grip. You could also reduce the clearance, after all it's a performance not a comfort top. :-)

Gran trabajo!
I know you will get close to your 25 minute goal. Go for it! Love these fun videos thanks BilletSPIN.
thanks for sharing
I'm going with it should be bigger. But I know that drives cost. Thinner wall on grip? Love seeing this, man. Love it.

I just watched the dragon fly video. Could use some cut outs, similar to that design to get weight to the outside. Just a thought.
Hey 17 minutes not bad give another go
lol cheat and make it a 2 piece top with aluminum in the center and some type of steel that looks like aluminum on the outside. no one will know
This is the out of the box type of thinking I’m looking for 😂😂

Damn, 6 seconds shy of my guess
