If only the pessimist green fanatics let them do theire job. They don't believe in science being able to solve ecological issues. They only believe in taxes, and making people poor and bureaucratic globalization
EN LOS ALBORES DE NUESTRO DESPERTAR COMO HUMANIDAD!!!! ES HERMOSO VER A GENTE TAN HERMOSA PREOCUPANDOSE POR GENTE EN NECESIDAD, SIN AMBICION, SIN CORRUPCION,!!!......CON EL MAS FINO DESEO DE AYUDAR!!!! MIS RESPETOS Y MI MAS FINO DESEO PARA ELLOS !!!!!!!
it would be amazing if they could install these on their roofs. i know the elevation and the nearness of the mountains has a lot to do with the efficiency, but i use a few catcher in my backyard and i live on a flat island! hopefully this will become something the people outside lima discover for themselves. a worthy endeavor by all.
I'm blown away. Why aren't there more projects like this in the world??? It could be such a good place for everybody. Thank you, from the heart and in the name of all humanity
The foundation made the designs available for anyone that wants to build one. Why haven't other organizations expanded upon this? It could change millions of lives.
Thank you to the Creating Water Foundation....an outstanding solution that can benefit so many lives. An update of this project is kindly requested. Hopefully, it is still in progress.
Sounds awesome. I would be setting up even more of them to divert the excess water and create water reservoirs in the area that can gradually fill up day by day and have an abundant resource for farming and irrigation.
Glad to see this is such an easy solution for Lima and the rest of Peru. Such a great idea and simple. I know they had tested Big advertising signs doing similar stuff in the city powered by solar. My wife is from Lima and the water was ok. I was told not to drink it but tried it and made some suggestions of adding bleach to their tanks just a little per instructions I saw online. Works great.
Very interesting. This idea is not new. I saw it for first time near Lima in an area called "Lomas de Lachay" in the year 88. This was probably the most original idea from students of the agraria university in Perú. Aplause the project because it includes the local people participation and education. This kind of programs are normal amog the andean people og Perú Bolivia Ecuador Colombia Chile and Argentina.
thank you so much for all your efforts. i wish you all success in your estimable project. as yu see a small bit of thinking just for some hours can resolve a terrible suffring of decades!!go on..and good lucks
It is good that they are live closer to the sea. They need to grow more trees to create more fog into inland, so people in the inland you catch the fog too.
I´m surprised that this solution hasn´t been implemented earlier because this solutions or method has been around for a while now and as I understands it comes from chilean inventor that left his invention for free
The Lord has smiled on the poor people of the world with this amazing idea. So pleased for their community. If they cover that hillside with nets they will be able to create LAKES of water! PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO WITH EVERYONE :)
en la variante de pasamayo tambien he probado este tipo de atrapaniebla pero no lo creeran mas efectivo son los nylon de pescar tendidos sblicuamente enun largo de 5 metros tres lineas rinden un litro en mdia hora
And water retention and soil erosion prevention such as dams and terraces like in Kenya.hillside has loads of soil erosion.. You could do houses like in alps with sheds for sheep etal underneath. When you sowed grasses etc you can stop soil erosion feed sheep chickens etc.
I need right track to work with you guys helping people all over the world I would phisicaly like to go to these countries in need free of charge.thanks
Being in such a mountainous area, if a certain size fog catcher was install in series, perhaps generation of electricity could be stored to a battery, small amounts at first but with enough water spinning a turbine it could turn in to a lot
Ok, it's been about five years since this video was posted. How's this project doing today? Are the people around Lima all taken care of, or do they need more fog catching capacity?
The first explorers were amazed at the landscape and in their prayers to God asked him how he could put oceans and high mountains so close to each other and the beautiful landscape and it was not justified. God answered, "wait till you see the people I put there."
If only all countries with such heavy fog wind and struggling for drinking water could set up these mesh on their roof tops , they can easily contact In Peru also every house can keep 2-4 nets on top of their house or tie it to trees with the collecting pipes at bottom leading the water to containers kept at the bottom can collect millions of liters of water every day enough and water for each family .
HI guys we are based in Cape town South Africa and we are also facing a drought,we are not so bad as peru but surely with the lack of rain we are having we will soon be as bad as peru is there a way you guys can help me with my projects that i want to start in my community,
Now that they are solving the problem of water, they need to plant millions of trees on those denuded slopes. I'm sure the reason that area looks like that is because over the years they cut down all of the trees. If they committed to planting 1 million trees a year over time the area could be transformed from a dusty brown wasteland to a verdant green cloud forest.
soulshadoww55 lima is the secong biggest city in the middle of a desert, is extremelly foggy but never rains and of course never had trees, but yes the trees could be the next step
please google Peru, this is a desert...we are the most bio diverse country in the world with ecosystems ranging from coastal/driest desert in the world, the Andes mountains/ cloud forest and the amazon forest
This should also be used in India in hilly areas where womens have to fetch water from a very long distance. And also spend many hours in in carrying water for the family
There is no end to man's creative intelligence. Amazing environmental and humanitarian invention.
Scientists/researchers with good heart bringing solutions to help of humanity. Hats off to you.
Also same No. of Warsapp.
Anyone know the performance of the system in m3 / m2 or l / m2?
If only the pessimist green fanatics let them do theire job. They don't believe in science being able to solve ecological issues. They only believe in taxes, and making people poor and bureaucratic globalization
Saya berasa sangat bangga dengan teknologi ini telah banyak membantu menyelesaikan isu kekurangan air di daerah kemarau dan kering 😊

Now this is Awesome 👍
you guys just gave them a blessing.. bring that to the USA and we can all have free water
In Monterey California area you would need tons of permits to do that.
Wow! That was such an inspirational story!
thank you so much for all your efforts. i wish you all success in your estimable project. as yu see a small bit of thinking just for some hours can resolve a terrible suffring of decades!!go on..and good lucks

Only provides limited solution of water scarcity to small scale needs. Not suitable for big human settlements for example in Peru.
The Lord has smiled on the poor people of the world with this amazing idea. So pleased for their community. If they cover that hillside with nets they will be able to create LAKES of water!

Not sure about this project in particular but it’s rough in Lima
They need more fog catching capacity for sure. I am trying to figure out how to do this right now
Good and nice people. Thank you!
Thank u Shalom
Great Work!!
How's this project going? The website seems old. I hope it's still going!

Amei ! i love IS técnic
Make an irrigation system to grow trees. Trees will bring condensation. Condensation will boost precipitarion. Win-Win.
amazing project ..
WOW... thanks.... but where is the website...that should or could be.... in the description?

that sounds nice and all. But, i do not see anybody buying the meshes. none of those houses have the meshes around their houses
Very good
Invento Chileno 🇨🇱🇨🇱👌🏻
this is Eye opening
God bless u
Great Guys Allah Bless All of you Ameen
I dream to be involved in projects like this...
Sooo, why do they live there and where did they get water from before???
Ya Allah.. .masya Allah....amazing
Where can i get the fog net?
Great development. A question: was there available water when the people arrived, and did that source disappear?
great but what kind of fabric are u using thnks
Very cool
What kind of green tissue is used?
how much humidity (at least) is needed to catch water from fog ?
is there role of speed of air in that particular area ?
Can we buy this net
Because this technique is quite helpful in desert areas like in rajasthan 😊
You are doing the Lord's work. Can that material be wrapped around a house and supply water?
beatyful!
What happened to this project? It died out?
what about strong winds? That fogcatcher should be foldable.
God bless and prosper them ,in Jesus mighty name .

Andries, dink net as daar sulke nette op Tafelberg is. Daar is baie wolke.
What is the net material made from? Can we use ordinary fish net? Thanks.
sir it is great I want to know if any project in India is present
Did you guys go back to Peru for a update ?
Southern California and Namibia have mucho fog.
Do you have problems with contaminants in the air?
How so tou clean the nets?

Just out of curiosity, if water is these people's big problem, then where does all of the fog come from?
I live in Ecuador in the Andes. I want to try this for my community. What is th3 spanish name for the material used? Is it readily.available?
This should also be used in India in hilly areas where womens have to fetch water from a very long distance. And also spend many hours in in carrying water for the family
Have you trained anyone in Ecuador?
Can the material be purchased? What is the company’s name that manufacturers the material? Is there a problem with algae growth?
EXCELENTE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Is it a successful project?
what are the fog curtains made of?
