This is the real natty. This is the best version of the big ten in my lifetime and its gonna be hard for people to accept when the Big Ten overtakes the SEC in the age of NIL
Its already been happening. If the B1G wins the Natty again, I feel they will have supplanted the SEC officially. This is coming from a guy who had to read SEC comments on my Bucks, ESPN community boards in 05/06-09. It was absolutely brutal reading the Mark May esque B.S. so its nice knowing where we came from.
It’s definitely stacked at the top. Idk how old you are, but the late 90s is still the best I’ve seen the Big Ten - OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State & Sparty were all really good.
You realize that ryan Day has noticed when it's too late that he needs to move the ball down field several other times in his career at OSU so you could see why we don't believe that that will happen every week
OSU fan here. Oregon is the best team in college football right now. They are the team to beat. Can OSU win? Yes, to do so, they will need to play their best football game of the season.
They can beat Oregon with close to the same intensity they had against TN, THAT was their best game of the year, they don't need to play like that to beat Oregon. Some semblance of that will win this game for Ohio State.
You have WAY too much confidence in Ryan Day's ability to win the big games. Day has GREAT teams EVERY season, yet has a 4-game losing streak against Michigan. A losing record in the playoffs. A losing record in bowl games. A losing record against Top 5 teams. He hasn't won the Big Ten title 4 seasons in a row, finishing 4th this season. Don't bet your house on Ryan Day.
Michigan is separate in my mind. Rivalries are just different. A number of those UofM teams were playoff and eventually natty champs. And the Playoff record: how many of those losses were to the eventual champs? Not an excuse, but it does provide some nuance that I think is impotent.
Honestly, I've followed OSU football since they won their championship in 2002. To say that Ohio State has consistently underperformed expectations for whatever reason is an understatement.
@@quinnyellstrom719 You're acting like the last four Michigan teams that beat Ohio State had BETTER rosters than the Buckeyes did. They didn't. You're also saying that the Buckeyes couldn't beat those playoff teams because those teams became the eventual national champions. I believe that ALL of those Ohio State teams were JUST AS GOOD, if not BETTER, than ALL of those playoff teams they lost to. The difference? COACHING. Dabo Sweeney, Kirby Smart and Nick Saban are all MUCH BETTER coaches than Ryan Day.
“Even all the struggles they’ve had this season” so annoying when people say this. Defense got pummeled my Oregon, made adjustments and became the number 1 defense in the nation. They beat 2 top 5 teams this year out of three, and beat the shit out of the 3rd(arguably 2nd) best team in the SEC. They list to Michigan and not they’ve struggled all year smh
You claimed Tennessee to be the 2nd best team in the SEC? Are you mental or just uneducated? Tennessee didn't even belong in the top 12. I can name 4 other sec teams that were better than them, easily. Y'all just don't understand how competitive the sec really is. I wish Ohio St would enter it so they'd be a 5 loss team each season bc it absolutely would happen.
@ typical SEC fan making excuses for their good ole conference. They lost by 2 touchdowns to Georgia who is the best in the SEC and they beat your darlings Alabama who beat Georgia. Stop making excuses and bitching, the sec is not as dominant as people scream.
@ and OSU being a 5 lost team in the SEC is crazy lmao the only team in your conference that I actually feel like we would have legit issues with is Texas because their defense is tenacious the rest of the teams would get belt to ass just like Tennessee. Go cray to Saban or something Go Bucks!
Even after watching the Tenn game, I would NOT bet on OSU. Their worst performance and best performance were back-to-back games. At this point they are THE most inconsistent team in the country.
5:31 i’m in no way a ryan day supporter. but i will call out bs when i hear it. mighigan was bracketing our receivers almost the whole game daring osu to run it was the opposite of pressure. they weren’t sending any pressure up the middle the d line was just kicking our o lines ass. but no excuses osu should have kept taking deep shots but running the ball isn’t as crazy as people think it was and most coaches know that because mighigan was daring them to run and playing pass heavy defense.
Ohio State still should not have been running up the gut with those 2 DTs that MI has, that was just dumb as fuck. Whenever we threw it deep to Smith the defense would hang on Smith to get a DPI instead of giving up a TD, a pretty decent strategy even though I hated it, LOL. They did that twice by the way. Those were 2 TDs that Smith should have had and we win by 11 if those don't happen.
Just because you was bracketing the receivers don't mean they can't get open. You can still scheme them open or everybody would do it against good wide receivers
It’s the Ohio State Defense that’s terrifying. It’s been their ability to disguise the blitzing that’s been making them a total nightmare. To beat Ohio State, you have to be able to run the ball. And defensively, stop the pass. No defense is going to stop those WR’s from Ohio State. They’ve got a 3 corp that most NFL teams would love to have right now. 2 being First round picks, Maybe 3. So it’s about getting constant pressure on Will Howard. But the problem with that is that the simple adjustments have already been made after the Loss to Michigan. As UT found out the hard way. What OSU does is put Jeremiah Smith into the slot where Howard can quickly get him the ball before the pressure gets there. This was the bread and butter for the KC Chiefs when they had Tyreek Hill. It’s that simple pre game adjustment that totally threw UT out of their original game plan. “ Michigan has provided the blueprint.”??? Maybe… Depending on who uses it to their advantage. In the case of UT… It was Ohio State that used it as to how NOT let it happen again. Oregon is great. But not on the same level as Ohio State as far as raw talent. And something about Ohio State that was very obvious vs UT. They look pissed off and out to destroy anyone in their path. They are a wounded bear. And Oregon has been on their list since the last second of the last meeting. OSU 38. Oregon 24.
Listen I understand we have 2 elite RBs who u want to get the ball. That said as a coach u have to know your teams limitations and our OLine is our limitation. U can get them the ball without running it right up the middle into the teeth of the defense. Counters, swing passes into the flats, duo blocs, reverses, motions, ect to slow down the Lbs and defensive front to help your struggling OLine. This team is built to play on the outside and work back to the run as the game progresses and the middle opens up. Also before this year Will Howard was known for his mobility he is a very mobile guy he just doesn’t use it enough
Dang i just commented on a tribe video of yours and then clicked on this one not knowing it was the same channel, you do buckeye content too? As a guards fan from Columbus this channel has touched me in my private places
Still baffles me that this same offense only scored 10 points against a five-loss Michigan team just two games ago. I think Michigan must've kidnapped Chip Kelly and replaced him with a braindead clone for that game, because the Tennessee game is what happens when he remembers that he has a terrifying passing game to work with and actually uses it properly.
Naw, we saw it at Oregon. Kelly digs in even if his game plan isn't working. If he plans to run the ball up the middle he tries until its too late in the 3rd quarter to change. Review the Natty against Auburn and his time in the NFL. When his plan works, it works great. If it struggles, he struggles to adjust.
The argument that the SEC is deeper is debatable. I think what is less debatable is the top of the B1G is better than the SEC. This Rose Bowl is like the 2022 Peach Bowl where the best two teams play before the natty. The big difference is they have 2 more games which is nuts.
I think the final will be a Midwest showdown of two iconic teams. Notre Dame is playing so well. OSU is super talented. It will all depend on coaching. I think ND has the slight edge there. OSU has the talent to win, but will the coaches use that talent correctly? It will be a battle! And the fact that both got horrible placements in the Tournament is laughable.
Osu didn’t even play a really good game against Oregon mid season, and they still only beat us by 1 point. This game is gonna be close but I think Ohio state will win

@@gian-lucbrasseur207 So tell me, what does Oregon picking will howard off on the first drive have to do with Ohio State scoring 24 points against them?
38-28 Oregon. Oregon is full strength with three rushers that demand double teams. Vols simple D-line game plan let OSU pick and choose which rusher to double team. Howard won't have the time he had last week. DG stats out better against the blitz in yards per attempt. OSU had a great game against a one dimensional team that was banged up, at home, in 25 degree weather. The Ducks with Burch and a fully healthy O line in Pasadena will not be the same animal.
there offense is good, they know what to do now. tennessees offense isnt really that good, so im most worried about the defense. oregon is actually gonna score points.
This feels like what CFP wanted. Two bye games and two slug fests, especially with the guarantee that B1G team will lose on Wed. More importantly, the lopsidedness will help them push the 16 team field. I'm sorry, but if you're not ranked 1 - 8, you don't belong in the natty. And I feel strongly we shouldn't be asking these young men to be risking their NFL careers to generate more CFB cash. And why in H*ll is PSU getting an extra day to recover for the next round?
Does Day "get' setting up the run with the pass? i hope so. And what happened to the genus move of optioning the tackle vs. the end? i thought they were mostly saving that for Michigan, but nooooooooooooooo. Up the gut. Very Woodie Hayes: "Otis carries the ball" from the fans as the team breaks the huddle.
Terrifying? Terrifying is falling 1,000 feet to your death. This is a game. A college football game and Ohio State is a one game at a time team. They can easily bomb. Ive watched them do it for the last 10 years.
We're happy, this is what we wanted and we're not Tenn. Give em to us twice so that we leave no doubt. Keep doubting and overlooking, we love it! 🦆💪#GoDucks #BustANut
I think these are the best two teams in college football. Should be a great game. I don’t think anyone from OSU is overlooking the Ducks. Every fan base lets hope control who they think will win. This could be a classic.
Oregon is actually happy it's Ohio State. They already proved their among the top in the B10 so beating the team that has held down the B10 twice will be a testament who really is the B10. Ohio State needs to be flawless because Oregon doesn't make many mistakes. Dillion takes what you give him so Ohio State has to get to him or Ohio State will lose.
Ohio State doesn't even have to play like they played to beat TN. Ohio State figured out their defense finally and Oregon won't score more than 20 and Ohio state will score at least 31 against that defense that gave up 37 to Penn St.
That's what people get for doubting the Bucks. Sure they lost to a mediocre Michigan team. That's how it goes when you play a rivery game. Not to mention when a team has your number. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good you are. Anyway. Talking bad about Ohio State is like waking up a sleeping dragon. Im not even a Ducks fan and i definitely dont feel good about Oregon. 🤘

You wouldn't be. Overrated team that's fresh come post season bc you play absolutely no one all year. Go Dawgs.
Yea it’s in California meaning there is a ton of Oregon fans due to the short proximity to Oregon and the fact that Oregon recruits heavily from California. Plus Oregon only has a 2:20 flight in the same time zone where as Ohio has a 5 hour flight (maybe longer due to poor weather on the east coast) and has to adjust to different time zones. The weather is also not going to hurt Oregon as many of the players are accustomed to playing in those conditions. Moreover, Oregon had a lot of time off which will help them rest and give them more time to prepare. A few last points is Oregon will have their best defender, Jordan Burch, which did not play the first time Oregon played Ohio State while Ohio State will be missing important guys this time around that did play the first time. Lastly Oregon has a lot of experienced seniors, this is why Oregon makes so few mistakes and is able to close out games. It’s Oregons game to lose. If Oregon dials it in and fires on all cylinders (they rarely have done that this season) they win. If Ohio State dials it in and fires on all cylinders (they rarely have done that this year) then Ohio wins. It will come down to who wants it more and who prepares better.
Bro, that game shouldn’t even have been close. OSU benefited from a missed interception on the opening drive. That interception got called, OSU would have had no momentum and been crushed. OSU was bailed out and still got beaten. Oregon in 16. Rutgers fan btw, not an Oregon shill.
Good video. Buckeyes will stifle Oregon. It won’t be in doubt. Everyone will then hate on Oregon and say that they were overrated (not true) bc Buckeyes get hated on whether we win or lose. If we win, then it means the other team sucks (shrug)…
Insane take. Oregon took Ohio St down without their best DE last go around. Holden got himself ejected early as well. Now ohio state is a bit more injured on that O line. This won't be easy. Wake up.

That last minute was a bunch of BS anyways, the OPI on Smith was BS, then Lanning putting a fucking 12th man on the field to take time off the clock was total BS as well, he can't do that now since they changed the rule to be the same as it is in the NFL, which is they would put that time back on the clock and Ohio State can kick a FG to win it.

Ohio state scored 24 points vs the oregon defense last time. 7 taken away because oregon picked off Will Howard on the first drive.
@@gian-lucbrasseur207 So tell me, what does Oregon picking will howard off on the first drive have to do with Ohio State scoring 24 points against them?
Why is a team who lost twice in the playoffs?
Yes they look good now , but did not play well enough early in the season to deserve a playoff spot
We'll see.😂😂😂
@@jeffstover9033 Well, we saw. Lucky I live in Oregon and can go outside and drown my tears in the rain.
there offense is good, they know what to do now. tennessees offense isnt really that good, so im most worried about the defense. oregon is actually gonna score points.
Ohio State didn't blitz Gabriel at all, now that Ohio State knows they can and should blitz, things will be different in this game.
It will be a high scoring game. 100?
This feels like what CFP wanted. Two bye games and two slug fests, especially with the guarantee that B1G team will lose on Wed. More importantly, the lopsidedness will help them push the 16 team field. I'm sorry, but if you're not ranked 1 - 8, you don't belong in the natty. And I feel strongly we shouldn't be asking these young men to be risking their NFL careers to generate more CFB cash.
And why in H*ll is PSU getting an extra day to recover for the next round?
Bro has crazy ball knowledge oregon bta
Buckeyes 35, Ducks 24
Oregon will be the best team Ohio State plays all year again. Whoever wins will be battle-tested
Rating AFTER performance.
One day its fire ryan day. Another day its Ohio State is the greatest team ever! LOL 😂 mental gymnastics.
Tennessee isn't a slouch team either...I think it was a mixture of OSU playing with purpose and Tenn just showing up though.
Best players money can buy!!!
Oregon isn’t your previous opponent
Oof
42-14 O-state
I think we blew our wad last game. You don’t have repeat performances like that
Crazy😂
Um...2014
@@jaysonp9426 EXACTLY, not only did we do it once, we did it thrice. lol
@@jaysonp9426 And guess what, one of the times was to Oregon in the natty.
And yet the one to Michigan MICHIGAN OWNS OHIO〽️🔥
Yes congratulations Michigan fans you can finally say you own us. That was probably the worst I’ve ever watched even if we won I would have the same reaction.
@ finally? We’ve owned you the entire time we’re winning in the e series 61-5? Something we own you team up north or Michigan is so much better I don’t see no big 10 champs or a natty never u get those u can talk back
The Ducks will pressure our QB and go after our weak, penalty prone corners
Buckeyes by 1
Not giving oregon a shot in this game shows your unprofessionalism
well I never said Oregon has no shot, like never, so that shows your lack of attention lol
@spencerpremier show me in your video where you laid out oregon having success in this game, it ain't there.
@@MrBigdaddy2yathis is a video about Ohio State I made an Oregon video about a week ago if you check it out
So people are just simpletons. Both videos was good hope it's a good match. @@spencerpremier
@spencerpremier ya well sounds like a video about how ohio state will beat the Ducks with no resistance.
Looked so terrifying they dropped 10 points on Michigan who is god awful in comparison to Osu this year. Go ducks
Nice
@ had to wait till after the game to comment Osu still sucks and still lost 13-10 ;)
we're ordering up some nice juicy roast ducks for dinner next week. go bucks! btw...oregon better not be spitting again. osu 31 - 21 oregon...
41-21 Ohio state
Played a crappy tennessee team !
😂😂 tell me you know nothing about football without telling me
Yeah, that's why everyone was on the TN hype train saying they would demolish Ohio State, GTFO of here with that shit.
Against Tennessee....🤣🤣😂😂 Ducks by 10+
Nice
OSU 42-28
Regardless Oregon Ain’t Jus Gonna Lean Over Why Canr Nobody Talk About How Good Oregon Is 2 Come 2 THA B10 Win In Tha 1st Year Beat Penn St Ohio At And Michigan Every Team In Tha B10 Plus Tha Elites So Come On Make A Video About Hiw Scar Dillon Gabriel Is Compared 2 Will Howard Everybody Lookin Over Tha QBs Watch Remember This Post
Maybe you should learn to type/talk before coming on these comments ffs. I can't even make out half of what you are trying to say it's so garbled. LOL
Y'all beat a Tennessee team that wasnt a top 12 team at all this year. Congrats. You're still like 4-12-1 vs the SEC so tone it down. If South Carolina, Bama or Ole Miss was in the playoffs... You wouldn't be. Overrated team that's fresh come post season bc you play absolutely no one all year. Go Dawgs.
This game will not be in Oregon.
Huge advantage for OSU.
It's in California.
Our kicker lost us the mich game he has one job kick the ball and he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn im 62 and could do better than that
Osu 30. Ong 24
Go Ducks
Oof
Nope
Good video. Buckeyes will stifle Oregon. It won’t be in doubt. Everyone will then hate on Oregon and say that they were overrated (not true) bc Buckeyes get hated on whether we win or lose. If we win, then it means the other team sucks (shrug)…
you guys didn't stifle an injured Oregon team.. you certainly aint gonna do it this time
Insane take. Oregon took Ohio St down without their best DE last go around. Holden got himself ejected early as well.
Now ohio state is a bit more injured on that O line. This won't be easy. Wake up.
@@gian-lucbrasseur207 We didn't blitz against Oregon last time, this time it will be different. Ohio State will put so much pressure on Gabriel he won't know what to do.
@@shawnchristenson324 Um, Gabriel's numbers against the Blitz are similar in completion percentage and more in average yards. Lemmie know how that goes for ya'll...
@toddedman3549 you haven't seen Ohio State's blitzes
Wont be any missed tackles like before and burke will be on this time
You clearly didn't watch Oregon football this season. Burke will get torched.
😂. They’re gonna be terrified when Oregon pounds them into submission! 42-28 Ducks! 🦆
They’re winning it all this year!
